Chapter 16: Magic Reality

After the king left, the crowd become chaotic and discussed what they just witnessed.

There is someone who rushed out of the hall and suddenly burst out laughing.

After the crowd heard his laughter, they finally can't hold it back and they also laugh, some even roll on the floor, someone hammered the floor with their hand and laugh, and someone kneeled down while hugging their stomach with tears streaming down their eyes.

After seeing them laugh till their heart's content, I suddenly felt the urge to laugh but manage to hold it back when I suddenly heard a little boy's voice.

"Mommy, that sticky liquid that runs out from the king's nose is it…" before he completes his sentence, his mom covered his mouth and said.

"Your wrong baby, the king just performed a magic show" she said while holding back the urge to laugh and tried to hide the truth from her son.

"Magic show?"

"Yes, it is a magic show. The king magically produced a new product of a hair grower. You saw that the king have a bald spot right, then he applied that sticky liquid to his head? That was his announcement and advertisement.

An announcement that he created a new product and advertisement for those who also have a bald spot." The woman said with a serious face.

The little boy looks at her mom and when he saw his mom's face, he instantly believed her.

'Then mom, Isn't it dad's birthday tomorrow, how about asking the king if you can buy that hair grower so that the bald spot on father's head would grow. I'm sure dad will be super happy about it because I saw him look ad before while touching his bald spot. "

A noise rang across the hall; I look at the direction of the sound and saw it was the 3rd Princess' maid.

I followed the crowd as they enter through the door where the 3rd princess's maid pointed.

Inside the room, I saw that there's a lot who are participating in this tournament.

I counted them and including me there are 432 participants.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the royal arena! I am your host…"

I didn't listen to the nonsense of the host and focus my attention on the person who's sitting beside him.

It is the 3rd princess; she is currently scanning the participants and after scanning all the participants her gaze suddenly landed on me. After a few seconds, I saw her looking at me while mumbling something. I look at her lips and read it

"Please don't disappoint me" I read her lips and managed to read her last words.

'Why did she say that to me? Did she know me? '

While I was busy with my thoughts, the host is finally done with his nonsense.

"There are 432 contestants, so we will have 10 rounds to decide who the winner is."

"Wait a moment, 10 rounds are too long. Hmm… how about having a battle royale! The last one standing is the champion." The 3rd princess suddenly interrupted and suggested.

"Well, since it's the 3rd princess's orders. Now then! As you have heard, it's a battle royale! Now all participants please step in into the arena."

I jump up and land onto the arena and casually stood still while waiting for the others.

Our surrounding suddenly changes from a large arena into a forest. Although I said forest, it still has the same size as the size of the arena.

This place is called magic reality, a place where illusion and reality coexist together. A new magic develops by the previous hero who was summoned on to this world in order to train new soldiers and let them experience death numerous times.

It seems some of you are confused, alright then I will directly go to the point.

If a person dies inside of magic reality, they will only wake up and be sent out of the arena. the death here is not real, well although pain still exists you can be relieved that even if your head was cut or your heart got pierced, you won't die and only be sent out of the arena.

So kill till your heart's content since no one will really die here. Now, let the battle royale begin!

All participants suddenly rushed into the forest and hide while some of them stayed where they are standing.

Some of them used concealing skills while some of them used the surrounding and blend with it, well too bad for them that they encountered me, a vampire who's very sensitive to blood.

Through constantly drinking blood, my blood sensitivity leveled up and the radius of my sensitivity dramatically rose up that this small arena has suddenly become my backyard.

I used my blood sensitivity and confirmed that 429 of them died while there is still 2 archers who survive. I cast again and shot towards their direction.

"Bang!" sound effect of an arrow colliding with something

I look at the arrow that collides with an invisible wall.
