6 Chapter 6: Kei Wada

The teacher continues to carry me with 1 hand until we arrive in front of an office with some woman sitting behind it looking busy with work.

"I need to speak with the principal," says the teacher causing one of the ladies to put down her work and lead him to a room behind the counter and knock on the door before walking away.

"Come in," says a deep voice from behind the door causing the teacher to open the door and throw me to the floor of the room before sitting down on a chair in front of an organized table with an old man sitting behind it. The old man seems to be around the age of 40 with a neatly trimmed white beard and grey-white hair. "What is this supposed to be the old man says with a raise of his eyebrows as he looks upon me on the floor than at the teacher who had just taken a seat.

"It seems the school has gotten another vampire the young teacher replies to him and looks down at me with a complicated look in his eyes.

"Ah is that so" replies the old man. "Unfreeze him I wish to speak to him" the old man continues as he looks at the teacher who in response nods and I can feel myself being able to move and talk again.

"What the fuck was that," I say as I look at the young teacher with confusion.

"Now now young man control watch your language, he simply froze your body slightly so you would not be able to fight back as he brought you here and cause a bigger scene," said the old man to me calmly.

"But how did he freeze me" I reply to the old man wishing to be able to freeze people as well as that seems fun to do.

"Oh you will not probably be able to do it yourself, only pureblood royal vampires can do it and I do not know of any other pure born children besides the ones who currently are already alive" the old man replies to me with a chuckle.

"Oh," I reply while thinking to myself aren't I a pureblood vampire of a royal family?

"Anyway young man what is your name and what are you doing at this school" the old man questions me as he excuses the young teacher with a flick of his hand causing the teacher to get up and walk out of the office while I get off the floor and take the seat where he was sitting.

"My name is Kei Crates and I came here with Mia I am supposed to be her butler or something" I reply to the old man with the last name Crates as I do not want anyone to know my real last name and associate me with my family until I am powerful enough and as I did not have a last name George told me that I can use his so I can have one.

"Ah so it is you," the old man says and then continues speaking after picking up a paper of his desk and handing it to me. "Here is your schedule, also before you continue making such a big scene please do understand that only a few humans know about the existence of us vampires and we wish to keep it as such so do not go showing off your power in front of others as although this school has a few vampires it is still mainly a human private school and we do not wish to disclose the existence of vampires to them.

"Aha sure thanks old man" I reply not really caring about what he said as I was looking at my schedule which goes as such.

Period 1: Math

Period 2: Chemistry

Period 3: History

Lunch

Period 4: Language Arts

Period 5: Physical Education

They all seemed quite boring besides History and PE.

The Old man sits there in shock as no one has ever disrespected him by calling him an old man right to his face. He chuckles slightly and replies "oh you are interesting one this year should be a lot more entertaining with you around".

I look back up at the old man and reply "I am late to my first-period class because of you".

"Ah well I will just write a message to excuse you from that period today, for now just listen to what I will tell you. " the old man replies with boredom in his voice. "I barely have anyone fun to talk to now a day, everyone is always respectful or wishing for favors and such so I find you with interesting Kei, and as I find you interesting if you wish you could trade 1st period for training with me and I can help you learn how to fight with weapons since when fighting a vampires bullets hardly work as most are fast enough to avoid them before you can even fire.

"Oh that does indeed sound fun old man, what weapons can I learn to fight with," I ask excited by the opportunity to learn weapon combat.

"I am mainly a sword user myself but I am decent with staffs" the old man replied to my question.

"Are swords difficult to learn and are they good to fight others with" I question.

"Vampires naturally learn faster as our physical bodies are stronger than humans and we have a much better memory, as for the fighting power of a weapon they are great to fight with, they can either be used to defend or attack giving them a lot of different ways to be used" the old man replies glad by my interest in learning swordsmanship from him.

We continue talking awhile longer about the uses of swords and how they are effective until the bell ending 1st period rings and I am told by the old man whose name is Luke to head to my next class, I wave goodbye to him as I walk out of the office and walk to my next period which is chemistry, hopefully, it is not too boring.

"What an interesting child," the old man says to himself and chuckles as soon as the office door is shut behind me.
