8 8. Friend

Have you ever thought what would happened if you have chosen different road than anyone else. What would happened if you did something different then you did in the past. Sadly but nobody could change what happened so we are all where we are and nothing will change.

And that is also includes Alaric Blood the second vampire who has inhirited Dracula's blood. As he was sighting from his unfortuned life. But he didn't know that it was his destiny. So he had to deal with it.

When Alaric and Lilith were back from Alaric mindset they stood there as they both were thinking about something.

Alaric (was thinking): " What the hell is this? How can I be Dracula's son if he is dead for a very very long time? I know that I am an oprhan and I don't know who are my parents is? But it to be The Vampire King was a shock!!! And now I have a mission? What? "

Lilith(was thinking) " Lord don't worry I will always protect you!" She had determined look on her face as she decided to follow her Master forever.

Suddenly Alaric phone started to ring ring ring ring

They both were distracted by this loud noise of his call.

Alaric picked up " Yes! Hello who is this?"

Roy" Hey buddy what happened to you? Why are your voice sounds like you don't know who I am? Don't you remember your best friend Ruadh ? Don't you remember when you gave me Roy's nickname when you meet me because you couldn't remember my name? As he started fake crying."

When Alaric heard that it was his friend who called him, he calmed down as he known him for three years of his college years.

Because now they were having job practice they rarely meet up. So his friend should be calling because he missed him(he thought). And he was right when he heard his friend crying voice.

Roy " Man I missed you! Damn this long break! Do you want to meet up? Please we haven't seen for one month already? How about we meet at Danes bar as always at 9 AM?

Alaric because he didn't know what to do next he agreed with his friend." OK meet you there!"

Roy " You are the best man!!! See you there" He said as he hung up.

Alaric looked at time and it was 8 AM if he want to be on time he should start moving as this place is quite far from that Bar.

He looked at Lilith and asked " Do you want to come with me?"

Lilith " YES MASTER! Wherever you are I will go with you." She looked at Alaric with worship sparkling in her eyes.

Alaric " I am Alaric stop calling me as master!"

Lilith " Yes my Lord!

Alaric " Stop! call me Alaric!"

Lilith " Yes my king"

Alaric " OK, call me whatever you want when we are alone but when we will be near my friend please call me by name!"

Lilith " Yes Master!"

As we began to go to the bar. We were attracting a lot of attention as when we became vampires we become more attractive. This attractiveness help us to hunt for blood. But it is also quite a headache when you want to be left alone.

When they reached Dane's Bar it was a small red brick building with two windows at the entrance. When they arrived they still had some time until his friend will come so they decided to come in and order some coffee as a disguise as they could only drink blood from now on. Or that what they thought.

They didn't wait for long as soon 5'9 foot man with ginger hair and green eyes walked in. When he saw Alaric he was shocked by his change. But when he saw a woman standing near him he nod his head two times with a smile as he thought that finally his friend got a girlfriend.

Roy " Hey Al we finally meet up!" He started to give a big bear hug to his friend. When hi head was close enough to his ear he whispered " Man finally you got yourself a girlfriend! I am proud of you! As I started to worry that you are gay! As I never saw you together with a girl!!!"

When Alaric heard what his friend said to him he was ready to hit him but he was interrupted by Lilith.

"Hello there my name is Lilith nice to meet you" As she reached Roy's hand.

When his friend heard the girl was talking to him he instantly switched direction to look at his friend's girlfriend. And what he saw shocked him there was standing a girl she had a black hair but the tips were white in color her eyes were blue like sky. He couldn't believe how could his friend conquer this girl as she looked like an angel or higher being.

He looked at his friend in awe.

Roy " Man you are so lucky"

Alaric looked at his best friend and couldn't believe how could he be so dumb without asking say that Lilith is his girlfriend? But what was more shocking that Lilith didn't dined his friend acusacion. So his friend still continue to talk his nonsenses.

Alaric" Lilith stop playing with my friend." Then he looked at his friend and shouted" Roy you too! Stop talking. She is not my girlfriend, we are just friends."

When Lilith heard that, she got sad as she really enjoy playing with this Roy and she really liked to hear him saying that she and her master is a couple.

Alaric " So why did you call me too meet you I know that we don't meet without a reason?"

Roy " Ye you know me quite well man! Yep and you are right! I got some information on the explosion in the centre that happened three days ago and I wanted to tell you that news first!"

Alaric was quite shocked at how his friend could now something that he wanted to found out. So he asked" Please go on!"

Roy " As you know I am a good hacker so two days ago I was browsing my computer when the news came out "Earthquake". But it was to suspicious as we didn't have any earthquakes in our country before so I looked up. Or should I say I hacked secret organisation called Supernatural Department. In they data base they had a file with that date so I opened it and it was written the explosion happened because one of vampire consumed something that it couldn't withstand so he exploded and created a shock wave that reached the city buildings.

I couldn't believe what was written but I still continued to read and there was something written in red: BE AWARE !!! VAMPIRE NOW ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT THEY LOST THERE ! DON'T COME NEAR THERE OR YOU WILL DIE!!!"

As Alaric listen to his friend he become more worried of his safety as he knew what they were looking was him or should he say what he consumed.

Roy stopped talking as he looked at his friend with a worried look. " Whats happened my friend ? What with that look? Why are you so pale?"

Alaric didn't wanted to worry him, so he lied " It is nothing I just was thinking about the victims that got killed by buildings"

As he was talking with his friend there was a loud sound outside that interupred there conversation. When he looked up he saw that his friend mom was coming but what was strange was that she was wearing a cape along with a pointy hat and in her hand was a wand but what was most strange was that humans didn't seem to be aware of her. Only I my servant and my friend could see her.

When she appeared near us I felt danger. That feeling was coming from her as she was dangerous that is what my instincts said.
