5 Chapter 4

Someone stopped the twins....

It was Zero he was sweating from looking for them everywhere

Zero~"Where were you guys? I was looking everywhere for you."

Maria~"sorry we lost track of time we didn't mean to make you worry uncle."

Zero~"it is ok guys we have to go now it is getting darker it is not safe."

A cold howl rushed through the deserted town. Suddenly the twins realised they were not alone.

Maria~"Can you smell that?"

Eden~"yeah I can it is so powerful the smell."

Zero~"what smell?"

Eden and Maria~"the smell of blood"

A snarl of hunger comes from a tall building and a swarm of red eyes surround the three.

???~"well hello. I just wanted to say that you guys are really unlucky to be here tonight.

Abruptly Zero cuts off the stranger.

Zero~"leave the children alone. You can fight me if you want a challenge you creature."

???~"hahaha well sure you mere mortal you can try but these children will still be hunted after your death. I will give them a 10 second head start."

Zero~"leave go back to the cabin I will be there soon"

Maria~"but..."

Zero~"JUST GO!"

He said that sentence with such anger in his eyes that it almost looked to the twins that their uncle Zero was like one of these monsters with red eyes.

As the twins ran away Zero looked back at the blood-sucking beast in such anger and hate.

Zero~"it seems vampire you have met your death today meeting me."

???~"hahaha well well well I am guessing that you are a lowlife vampire hunter who doesn't even know how to kill a vampire."

Zero~"well I guess you have never met me. And today will be your last as you will be killed by a vampire hunter who is a vampire."

Zero looked at the vampire as his eyes turned red. And the astonishment on the face of the vampire was pure borrow as he looked upon Zero.

???~" y...you...a...are

Zero~"why yes I am"

With one strike of his gun, he killed the vampire which turned to ash and he walked away with no remorse but he didn't realise someone close was watching him...

Back at the cabin...

Zero flung the door open and he dripped with sweat. Eden and Maria rush into the hallway to see Zero not hurt at all.

Maria~"UNCLE!! Are you ok? We were so worried!"

Zero~"I'm fine. I just talked to him and everything was fine after."

Eden~" just talked? That stranger was so weird. He has red eyes and he jumped from a building roof with no scratches on him"

Zero~"it doesn't matter anymore he was just trying to scare you. It is ok as it is done now. He won't bother us again."

Maria and Eden looked at each other and went back to their rooms.

With Maria...

In her mind she knew she saw fangs and sharp teeth. But she thought she might be called crazy if she tell her brother and uncle so she left it and went back to bed.

With Eden...

In his mind the red eyes remind him of something making him feel scared and is causing him to be in a never ending nightmare. He was constantly reminded of a woman in his dream. She had long beautiful brown hair and eyes of the darkest brown, she had a steel bat of some sort to keep him safe from the bad nightmares and made them stop. He always wondered who the woman was but he never asked as he feared she would go away if he did.
