The night of the party Mary helps me get ready, after wearing my heels I go to the car where Hades is waiting for me."You ready? "Hades asks as I get in the car,"Yeah,let's do this. "I lie, I am breathless and my palms are sweating like crazy. "I know you like the back of my hands and I know you are lying,don't worry it will be alright it's nothing big."He says reassuringly. Well isn't that convenient for you, Mr. Know it all? I turn into a mega bitch when I'm nervous but his reassurance calms be down a bit.

'Are you shitting me? This is big.' I think to myself as we get into the mansion which is already filled with people, elite women are dancing around the place, they are so beautiful and elegant that my self esteem might have just dropped a few degrees. The men are all in black suits as it seems the theme of the party or more like ball as the women are wearing dresses that are usually worn during balls."Are you shitting me this is fucking elite ball." I'm shaking nervously beside Hades, "don't worry baby, I am right beside you." He reassures me once more. I nod solemnly and take in a deep breath, "ok let's do this."I say more to myself.

First we head to the foods table, I eat a little as my stomach seems to have decided it's the perfect time to shrink just as I'm infront a whole multitude of foods. Hades notices and squeezes my hand reassuringly. "Hades darling." An older woman approaches us, "How are you doing, my dear?"she asks as she kisses him on the cheek, looking at me she smiles and find myself liking her instantly, "and who is this little flower?" She turns to Hades. "Sharona, meet Julliet, Jules, this Sharona my friend." Sharona looks at Hades accusingly and adds, "A friend? Pssht! I practically raised this boy when his mother was exc ...." she trails when she sees the look that Hades gives her,"Excuse us for a second." she says after a minute of awkward tension. Was she about to say executed, oh God was Hades mother executed? I'm thinking of asking him about it but I realize if he wanted me to know he would have already told me, so I just let it go.

When I am left alone alone, I look around the room and notice women whispering while pointing at me, the dirty looks they give me immediately shoot down my dreams of being the belle of the ball.

"Fancy seeing you here." A very sharp annoying voice says behind me ,"what's so fancy about it?" I ask not really paying attention to Alexia, "Uuh, as this is an elite ball ,I wonder why you are here especially with Hades?" She asks her face full of disgust, if you saw the way she looks at me you would think I'm the scum on the bottom of her shoe "I am Hades date, he asked me to come with him." The smug smile on my face agitates her more, if 2e were in a cartoon, she would be blowing steam out her ears, I can certainely see it, she has the whole cartoon looking face in place. "You lying bitch, Hades can never go out with someone like you, let alone look at you." I'm about to reply to that when I am interrupted, "As a matter of fact, I can and you better know better than to mess with my girlfriend." He growls. Wait,what!girlfriend?! "Argh! I am leaving. "The daggers she shoots at us make it seem like we just kicked her non-existent puppy,"Yeah, great plan." Hades replies sarcastically.

"so your girlfriend, hmm?" The smirk on my face grows wider. "Oh yeah right." He says as he kneels down,"Julliet Grayson, will you do me the honour and become my girlfriend?" The pink on his ears is visible and the way he's kneeling while holding out a promise ring melts my heart. I just look at it as words are beyond me, he takes my silence as hesitation, "I am sorry, I know it's too soon, I don't even know what I was thinking, I just want the whole world to know that you are mine." My heart clenches at that but still manages to flutter at his words I mean those words can make the ice queen blush, as long as I've known Hades, he's always been so sure of himself.

"Yes, yes, yes." I say as I jump on him and kiss him. I never thought I could be this clichè. After the pin drop silence people start clapping but I catch a few dirty stares, some looks crystal clear, 'what did he see in her she's so plain and just a human.' No worry guys, I ask myself that a lot.

Hades places the promise ring on my finger, I am about to kiss him but a voice interrupts me, "always so dramatic little brother, should have gone for theatrics rather than being the king of this kindom." Does this guy always have to interrupt all our moments, sheesh take a hint dude. He had been avoiding us for so long that I forgot he even existed."Do you always have to ruin our moments? What do you even want?" See this guy gets it. "Nothing just thought I'll congratulate my little brother or is that a crime your majesty?" He gives a mocking bow that manages to drive an eye roll from Hades, "Just go." Hades replies in a cold tone, "As you wish,your majesty." He leaves us with a smirk."I swear sometimes I wonder if we are really related." Yeah it seems so unreal, they're so different they couldn't possibly come from the same womb.

The rest of the night goes pretty smooth, we'll mostly boring but I am not complaining it's better than starring in a bad version of vampire diaries only the drama is so much more petty.

"Wanna go home?" Hades asks when he notices my bored expression, I nod and he ushers me to the door.

When we get home, first thing I do is get out of this death traps I call shoes, they were so high that I had to wobble through out the whole ball."Want me to massage them?" He points to my legs, "yes please." If only I met him a few years ago, but it's good enough that he is here now. "Mmm." I moan as he rubs my feet, "I swear if you moan again I am taking you here on the floor." The growl he gives startles my nether regions. He looks at his junior which has gone up, a mischievous smile plays on my lips as I moan again, I quickly get on my knees and start crawling away before he catches me.

Hades is right behind growling like a bear and when he catches up he tackles me to the ground,"now you are my slave." He holds both of my hands up in one of his, "hmmm, that means I can do anything I want with you." The mischevious.smile on his face makes him seem so childlike as it soften his features, I hope for him to always be this happy. "What do you say?" He schools his face into a mock serious one, "yes master." But before we can continue with this weird role play that feels like our actual lives since I'm his slave and he is my master, I let out a big yawn.

Hades pov

A yawn escapes her cute lips as she squints her eyes at me. "That's my cue, I should let you get to bed." I carry her to my bed carefully placing her on the right side. I kiss her on her forehead and she quickly dozes off giving me the pleasure of watching her sleep. She would run for the hills if she heard me right now or see me as I watch her sleep. I can't help but wonder how did a bastard like me get so fucking lucky?
