"Calm down and allow people to help you."

"I am scared that those involved would get hurt."

"Then it is our cross to bear but you should know that even these shoulders are ready for you, so do not do it alone."

"Fine. I have heard you. Now, what about the business meeting? Time is going and aside from the attack on that initiation day of which you did, we have not had a major hit again and I do not want my father to be on my neck with this."

"I know. Calm down as I said. Luckily, they called her today. This morning informing her that it was granted. Perhaps because you were not at work, they relayed it to her."

"Thank goodness. One step down. Because father would soon be on my neck with it. And if they agree to the business proposal then, by all means, we have access to more information which means, more underground work for the two of us. Yay!"

"I am happy you are happy. See how excited you are about work. I wish I was that excited."

"Hey," she sensed the sadness in Esmeray's tone and leaned in to look at her face. "What is going on, Esme?"

"Nothing."

"Nah. It is nothing. You are not happy, why?" Daciana probed even further.

At first, Esmeray tried her best to deviate from the topic but she could not, not with Daciana being the worry wort.

"Fine. I would tell you. I just wish, you know to have more excitement going on around my life sometimes."

"But I thought you did? You have a wonderful job. We both created this foundation and you have been a huge help to our people. Guys want you. You are a free person and not like me."

"No. That is not true. Aside from you and a few of our friends I am mostly lonely. Like I do not have a boyfriend and things like that. I just want an adventure. I want that fun, you know."

"Then create it. Go out more often. No one is stopping you from taking that adventure."

"But you need me. I cannot just bounce out on you like that? What would you do without me seeing as you always get into trouble?"

"Tsk, now I have a mother hen watching out for me at the expense of her own happiness. In fact, you are leading this stuff once we can get this business approved. You need to lose up babe. Do not worry, I am here for you. You know if not for dad and his overprotective self, I would be with you."

"I know. Do not mind me. I never intended to bring this up and bore you with my problem."

"Nonsense. It is okay. It wasn't a bother. I enjoyed it. Enjoyed being the one to pat you. Now, let me go freshen up and then we can share a meal together like old times, hmm?"

"Sure. I would go ask them to set the table for the three of us. Thanks for bringing her here. I guess it would be nice caring for someone else."

"Happy to help."

Getting up from the bed, she made her way to the restroom and was about to push open the door when Esmeray's voice made her stop and turn.

"By the way, Dacy," she began.

"Yes?"

"Umm, your secretary just sent another message. The meeting proposal is tomorrow morning by 9 am and you need to prepare."

"It is okay. I have you with me." The look on Esmeray's face told Daciana that she was not prepared with going in the first place. "Oh, I forgot to tell you as well, you would definitely be there at the meeting tomorrow. Once I settle this issue for Daria we would go over to the company and ensure things are completely put in place."

"Alright. No biggie. Meaning I would be following you guys out, right?"

"Yeah. So start cheering up. I need my friend, you know. And call Koray for me, please. Ask him if he has done what I asked him to, concerning the address of the scumbag of yesterday that harrassed Daria."

"Alright, on it princess."

"Oh please stop. Now is not the time, dearest." They both let out a peal of hearty laughter as they both went about other things. These two had been inseparable since they were little and it did not seem like what would change even with time and season.

'Thanks, Dacy.' Esmeray mentioned in her mind.

Just like that, they quickly got to the small room where Daria was currently staying and waited for her to pack her things.

Luckily, the goons from yesterday did not come to attack her but even if they did, Esmeray and Daciana were there to protect her.

Once they were done, Daciana placed a call to Koray. It was time to deal with this matter once and for all.

Left for her, she had planned to go there, pay him the money and ask him to scram and never get close to Daria else he wanted more beating.

"Hello, Koray."

"Hey, Dacy. What's up?"

"I'm good. About what I asked earlier, I need the address and tell me how many men are there. Numbers just to be exact."

"Do not worry. I am already here with five of our guys. There is no way he can take us down. All you have to do is come with the little flower."

"Alright, thanks. But I thought you were going to be busy today, how come you are..."

The call went dead and Daciana threw her car keys to Esmeray. "Let's drive, sister."
