"While casting illusion magic on the target, you can sneak up to them and use your shadow magic to kill them. I will show you a demonstration on how to use shadow magic"
"First off, for the attack..."
I then channeled my magic and casted the shadow magic as thinly as I could, resulting in making a 'shadow blade'. After forming the blade I launched it at a nearby tree, resulting in the tree being cut down in on clean swipe. Upon seeing the cut I made, my servants look at me in awe as if seeing a deity.
"You guys can do it too" (Luna)
After seeing me do it the foxes were a little afraid that they could not do it the way I could. Seeing as nobody else was moving, Tio stepped forward in order to give it a shot. After a few minutes it seems like she realized something. Upon that realization she casted the shadow magic and although not as thin or sharp as mine, it still easily cut through the tree standing next to the one I cut down.
After seeing her do as I told her to, I put my paw on her head and gave her praise.
"Good job Tio" (Luna)
"Hehehe" (Tio)
"..." (Lotus)
"Hmmm? Are you jealous?" (Luna)
"N-No, ...not at all" (Lotus)
'Oh my god these two are adorable'

"Okay, up next is something I need to try out first" (Luna)
I step away from the two and stand on the shadow one more time. After doing so, I wrapped my body in shadow magic. After a few seconds of thinking and organizing in my head about the best way to go about making this new skill, I finally understood a bit about it. I proceeded to thin the magic out and fuse my magic with the mana outside, resulting in me becoming one with my surroundings. I used that with the shadow magic and my body disappeared into the shadow at my feet.

Right before she could finish her sentence I appeared beside her.
"Right here" (Luna)
"Uwah!" (Lotus)
"You scared me!" (Lotus)

Even though I say that, I didn't feel sorry at all. I got to see her cute reaction so it was definitely worth it.
After bantering with Lotus I began to explain to the foxes how to use the skills I showed them. I also asked Tio to use the shadow blade on the monkey I left alive, resulting in her gaining a level.

When I saw them with that determined look in their eyes, I couldn't help but be happy.
'I sure did get lucky to meet these guys'

While making our way to the North we ran into some more of those monkeys and I let my servants test their new skills on them, while making sure no one got injured. In doing so 4 hours passed and I noticed Tio has leveled up a few times.

What laid in front of us was the start of woodlands where the trees blocked most of the sunlight from getting in. It was as Tio said, dreary. That word describes this place perfectly. It looked as if someone took all the color from this place and it was riddled with death.

10 minutes after entering we where attacked by a big blue beetle.

As soon as I finished speaking to them I rushed forwards. I began by casting 5 dark flame arrows. The arrows hit it but only took out half of its HP. While I began preparing to cast the magic again, the beetle formed a water ball at the tips of his mandibles and shot it at me. It was slow but it still surprised me causing me to loose focus and put too much mana in while casting, this resulted in me launching 20 dark flame arrows at him.
*BOOM*

After walking a bit more we arrived in front of a cave. Inside the cave was a strong aura that made even me sweat. I turned to look at everyone else and they were shivering from how strong it was.

Before the two could object any further I shot them a glare that shut them up. I told them one more time in a commanding voice...

After seeing them agree (although unwilling), I turned to the cave and began to walk.
'Looks like my first real battle has arrived'
Although no one could see, she had a excited glint in her eyes.
