2 PART 2 - A SECRET RAY NEVER KNOW

"Sometimes I get tired of living like this, I still don't understand why you injected that potion into my body."

Frank sighed. "Ray! It's been centuries we've been through human life in the future, we can find out which people are going to make a mess. At least we can stop these people before the chaos happens. Your father is my best friend, he asked me to inject the potion on your body. Because your father knows, in the future you can become a useful person and save the next human life."

Ray sighed. "Then why don't you inject it for him too? Why only me?"

"Come with me to the basement, Ray," Frank ordered.

Ray rushed to follow Frank behind him, he was curious why his father was not injected with the potion by Ray.

Arriving in the basement, Frank immediately put his thumb to open access to the laboratory room. Frank opened a glass cabinet containing thousands of potions he had made.

"This is Ray! Your father is my best friend, so how could I not make the potion for him," said Frank as he handed Ray a bottle of blood-red potion.

Ray immediately grabbed the glass bottle from Frank's hand, on the bottle was the name, Adrian Russel.

"I have prepared one for your father, but Adrian refused. With the excuse that he was tired and it was time for him to go quietly." Frank said quietly.

Ray was shocked to hear Frank's words, he did not expect that his father would choose to go forever. Then eternal life is like him who doesn't know when it will end.

"I didn't think Dad would refuse."

Frank sighed. "I also didn't dare to intentionally inject the potion, because I was afraid when your father had mutated. He even became an evil vampire who could attack both of us, therefore I never did it to your father."

"Thanks, Frank, and I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?" Frank looked confused as he put the bottle back into the glass cabinet.

"Because I misunderstood you."

Frank sighed and immediately hugged Ray tightly. "It's okay Ray! I can understand how you feel, it's only natural that you feel that way. The most important thing now is that you can do something that makes your father proud."

"Thanks, Frank! I'll do it." Ray said quietly.
