Chapter 3 - A man from statue (OLD)

Blood splattered across her face ,but the thing that startled Xiuxiu the most was the faint sound of beating heart that she started hearing right behind her.

"You have gone too far bitch." Said Zhang Qiang while reaching his hand with intention to grab Liu Qiqi, but when he looked at her friend his body shivered and took step back instead.

Lin Xiuxiu terrified and weakened was leaning in statue's embrace.That embrace was starting to fell more cozy with each passing second, making her to want to stay like this longer and longer. When she looked at Zhang Qiang and saw the fear in his eyes she tried to look behind, but right in that moment she felt pain of someone biting her neck and right after it a wave of pleasure. When she looked to her side she have seen him, the winged man from the sculpture, his long silver-black hair, two pairs of different wings and eyes, eyes with colour like flame's of hell and the shape like cat's. These eyes were deep and even one look at them made one mesmerized and lost in thoughts, but right know in these eyes were no clarity, only madness and hunger that of a beast.

"Die you monster!" The first to react was Song Wang, the right hand of Zhang Qiang , he was first to arrive here after his boss. With a fast dash he appeared next to bloodsucking statue and slashed with his blade, but the anticipated feeling of cutting throught flesh never happened.

His body have been pierced by the hand of a man and have hit the ground the same moment Lin Xiuxiu body fallen on the ground.

When Zhang Qiang and remaining disciples of Black flame sect have seen what happened they acted quickly. They drew their weapons and started attacking mysterious man.

"Hell blade!","Skull breaker!","Fire strike!","Scorching flames!" Various techniques that were linked to fire or strenght were used at the same time. Their enemy instead of jumping back or dodging their attacks jumped to them and like ferocious beast using his claws that have grown from his nails started slashing and stabbing. None of the fire type attacks have reached their target, every one of them was dodged by their opponent instinctively while strength type attacks where meet head-on with pure, brute strenght and crushed.

After few minutes of fighting only 2 people were left standing : The man from a statue and Zhang Qiang.

"Can I at least know the name of my killer?" Reconciled with his fate Zhang Qiang asked.

"Huff,huff" The only thing he have heard before fighting again begun was panting of his opponent.

After several dozen of second of exchanging blow with enemy Zhang Qiang realized something. While looking at that man in front of him realized that he's in some sort of a trans and is fighting solely relying on his bestial instinct. Few strikes later his injured chest proven to be too big obstacle and the man he fought with took away his ax and pierced his heart with his long black claws.

When the body of Zhang Qiang have fallen on the ground the young man walked up to his body and after biting his neck he sucked his blood dry. Exactly the same procedure happened to every body that was lying on the ground expect one. After feasting on the last body of the disciple of Black fire sect he started approaching the last remaining body with decent amount of blood,

Liu Qiqi. When he was just a meter from her his eyes from the dark red turned to lovely scarlet, changed their shape to normal, his wings retracted and left no sign of them behind and lastly his razor sharp claws turned to normal looking nails. After these changes he collapsed.

With blood flowing from wound on her back Liu Qiqi was lying terrified on the ground and watching what is happening around her. After that mysterious man from the statue collapsed she waited few minutes. She stood up from the ground while feeling tremendous pain from her back and took from small pocket on her robe : a two pills that looked like small pearls and one slightly bigger than them, white ball that looked somewhat like a soap. She took that some like looking ball and placed it on her wound. Ball after infusing it lightly with Qi started melting and nicely covered whole wound and created white layer of skin. She immediately after this ate one pill and walked to her faintly breathing friend. Liu Qiqi felt reassured when she saw that life of her friend is not in danger and fed her energy replenishing pill.

While being on guard against their savior she begun to gobbing the corpses of nine dead disciples of Black flame sect. She found some money but other than that there was nothing interesting on their bodies. After robbing the dead she took Lin Xiuxiu and sat with her under the big oak.

After sitting roughly for ten minutes and thinking about what to do next Liu Qiqi saw that her friend started to wake up.

"What happened?" Lin Xiuxiu asked right after waking up.

"He sucked your blood, killed them all drank blood from their lifeless bodies and collapsed on the ground, he saved us but i don't know what to think about it." Liu Qiqi summarized whole incident.

"What should we do right now?" Liu Qiqi and Lin Xiuxiu asked simultaneously.
