Mr. Fairy

"Amber," luna called.

"Wanna come in? I just have to buy flowers for my grandma," luna added. I didn't notice I stared at the tulips far too long, it's too beautiful.

"Yeah sure," I followed her in, the place is full of beautiful flowers.

"Beautiful aren't they, it always surprises me whenever I came here all flowers are freshly picked," Luna said.

"Yeah it is, this place is gorgeous," I replied. Suddenly the bell from the door sounded.

"Good Noon Mr. Fairy," luna greeted the guy who went in, he is wearing an apron with the shop's logo on it.

The guy greeted luna with a smile perhaps he is the owner of this shop?.

"Same as always?" He asked.

"Yes," Luna answered and his eyes went to mine, I got startled that I look away. I tried to slowly look back at him and he chuckled.

Suddenly My heart skip a beat, I just smiled at myself and take a look at the flowers but when I was about to touch the roses my hand pricked at the thorns which cause me to bleed.

"Blood," I hear him say, I turn my head to him and he was looking at me.

"Oh my god amber are you alright?"

"Yes, I just got prick don't worry," I Explain.

"I'm sorry I didn't know the roses still have thorns," I said to him. "I'll buy the Rose."

I pick the rose that prick me and gave it to him. It might be a bad thing if I just leave the rose there.

"You should be careful next time," his voice suddenly became cold for some reason.

"Yeah I should, thank you," I replied and grab the Rose.

"Let's go," luna held my arms and pulled me out of the flower shop.

"He's kinda weird," I said.

"Who? Mr. Fairy? Yeah, I think that too, I mean he's too good right and so white. He got a perfect face and—" I cut her off.

"That's not what I meant, well anyways what's his real name?" I asked.

"God my amber is interested with Mr. Fairy?" She smug her face.

"I didn't say I did, I'm just curious you know," I replied and look at my rose. I just want to know it that's all no other reasons.

"No one knows, all I know is that everyone calls him Mr. Fairy even my grandma," she answered. " Maybe because of his looks?"

"That's right his really pretty for a guy," I replied. "Just like this Rose," Too beautiful for a flower.

"Good luck with your interview," luna said in the other line. I really need her support right now, this gives me a wholesome confident.

"Yep I will, thank you luna." I said and smiled.

"Remember to call me when the job interview ended," she said. I ended the call and went inside the company building. This company is one of the best and luckily I got the slot to apply as an assistant product manager.

"Good morning, I'm one of the applicants?" I said at the lady standing in front of a big door.

"Yes, just put your documents at the front desk we are sorry to say the interview won't be able to continue but we will hire based on your work experience and your documents submitted." She explained.

"Can I ask why?" I said.

"The head manager is currently out of the country for an emergency, and not to scare you but I heard the CEO is very strict. only the head manager and the secretary can go through him, so they cannot ask the CEO to do the interview himself even though it's a higher position." She explains.

"Alright thank you," I said.

"Wonder what kind of CEO he is?" I mumble might be worse than the lady told me. Maybe because of his old age? We never know Some of the CEO are old too.

I decided to just go home after. I stopped at the waiting shed near in front of the flower Shop the one where luna bought the flowers the other day. Just a few steps I take the rain poured heavily that I got soaked pretty badly. I immediately ran towards the flower shop and went inside. My clothes are already wet and the rain is still so heavy plus the thunderstorms.

"I really hate thunders," I whispered while glancing outside.

"You're drenched" I bumped my forehead at the door's glass when someone suddenly spoke.

"Are you alright?" He worriedly asked.

"Yeah, I just got startled," I said and rub my forehead it hurts a lot!.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to—"

"It's alright I should be the one asking sorry for barging here in all wet," I said and looked at my clothes.

He's different from the last time I saw him, I mean he treated me coldly when I was about to leave the shop last time right?. then why so suddenly did he become so friendly? Am I just overthinking things?!.

"Here, sit here for a while. you can also use this in the meantime." He gave me a towel and let me sit at the table near the flower stand.

I glance at him cutting the edge of those flower stems. His hands are long and fine he is muscular too with his hoodie's sleeves rolled like that top with the shop's apron. You can really tell his too fine I mean his looks plus I think he's kinda kind and cute.

He look at me and got me looking at him. I immediately look away, just like that time when I first saw him. He also caught me staring at him, I sighed and look outside.

"Until when will this rain stop?" I mumbled.

An hour passed and still, the rain hasn't stopped, my clothes are almost dry yet outside is still raining. This rain will most likely to stop until night time and I couldn't afford to stay wet until that time or I will be sick. I couldn't stay here for long too cause I might cause Mr. Fairy troubles.

I stood up and gathered my things I went to where Mr. Fairy is standing, and slightly pulled the edge of his clothes.

"I'll be going now," I said. He seems confused about what I said.

"I'm going now," I said again.

"But it still raining," he uttered.

"Yeah but it will most likely stop until nighttime, I can't stay with these clothes that long, or I will definitely catch a cold," I said.

"Will you still come back?" He said I got shocked by what he said.

"I mean the towel?" He added.

"Oh yeah right, I'll be back I'll buy a new one and deliver it here," I said.

"I'll go now, thank you," I said and immediately got out.

"What was I expecting?!" I whispered.

There was only a block away until I reached my house but as soon as I arrived in front of my gate, I can't find my keys inside my pockets.

"Darn it," the towel was really wet so I just left it at the gate. I should find my keys first, where the hell did I drop it tho?.

I was all over the alleys where I walked earlier trying to find my keys.

As I was crossing the crossed alley a man was standing with his black umbrella and he was looking at me intently.

"Mr. Fairy?" I said and just stood there.

"Thank God I found you," he said and walk towards me.

We both now are under his umbrella. He was still wearing his shop's apron. He handed me the thing I was desperately looking for. What did he just come over here just to return my keys?.

"I think this is yours," he said and gave it to me.

"Wha! You really are a fairy aren't you, you're a life saver!" I said and was very happy now I can finally ease.

He chuckled and slightly cover his mouth with his other hand and his eyes looks away. I find it cute when he did that. That makes me want to pinch him his too pretty I admit.

"Where did you find it?" I asked if I should really watch where my things are.

"I saw it under the table and I thought it was yours so, I hurriedly come to find you," he replied.

"Thank you, I meant I swear," I said and smile at him, thank goodness I found you my dear keys.

"No problem, here take this." He said and grabbed my hand and gave me the umbrella.

"But this is," I muttered.

"You'll catch a cold," he said.

"How about you?" I mean I couldn't just accept his umbrella for Pete's sake what about him?!.

"I'll be fine don't worry and I also have to go back to the shop cuz I leave it empty. I need to get back," he said.

"See you around." He added

"Yeah, ahm thank you I'll be sure to repay you," I said before he runs back to where he came from earlier.

"My face feels hot," I mumbled.

I can't help but to keep thinking about him, I mean he got all wet because of me. He also gave me his umbrella and return my keys. Now I owe him big time like for real.

"By the way, when will this hair dry," I annoying said and keep blowing my hair. Why does drying your hair seem easy but too difficult I swear.

As I was annoyed with my hair dryer my phone suddenly rang. Really at times like this?

"Yes?" I said as I answered the phone call. And return for blowing my hair.

"Amberly," the other line said I checked the name registered on it and I rolled my eyes.

"Luna this is the fifth time you called me," I said. What does this brat want im in the middle of an important matter!.

"I'm bored tho," she said if I didn't know her to better I wouldn't say she's pouting right now.

"Luna we're just neighbors, you can just walk your way here. Your just a block away" I said, really this lazy brat.

"I can't leave grandma I promised I'll help her later," she mumbled.

"You just don't want to walk all the way here," I sighed. "Alright, I'll head there."

"No I'm not, and really You are?!" Her energy went up.

"Yay, alright I'll wait for you hehe," she said and turn off the call. I sighed and glance at the rose.

"It still looks good," I said. "Like it's seller,"

I dive into my bed and stare at the ceiling and sighed again. What should I do with this life?.

"Now I have to sleep at luna's house," I said. "It's fine grandma's there too."

I grabbed my small bag and put my necessary things before going out and locking the house.

I was right, the rain stops at night time. It's a bit chilly walking down this alley and a bit silent. Just me with these street lights and wet road.

My head suddenly flashed a picture of Mr. Fairy running in the rain. I was really worried that he might have a cold.

"I'll just visit him soon, and pay for what I owe him," I whispered. I should definitely have to pay him for the kindness he showed to me.

I stopped walking and stared at the moon peeking in those clouds. He's just like the moon, cold but warm. Beautiful yet I kinda see in his eyes that his lonely and somewhat mysterious.

What secrets does he hide?. why does he have so many walls built around him. Earlier when I spoke to him he feels kind but I could feel his wall against me.

"If we became friends will you be able to turn down your walls?" I said at the air and sighed.
