32 Chapter 36

Janus blinked his eyes again when Lele and Riri are now rubbing their bodies on his legs. Their movements are always in sync. Probably because they used to be in the same body before. Letting out a sigh, Janus arranged the brick in accordance with his system's instruction. Janus feels like he is playing with large-sized building blocks right now.

Just as he finished putting the last brick on top, Janus blinked his eyes in surprise to the solid and broken wall of Rozea Dungeon became liquified. The liquified walls slowly crawled and embraced the stacked bricks with its body. After that, Janus saw how those stacked bricks melted inside the liquified walls and it started fixing itself by molding its body and covering every possible hole that can appear on its surface. In just a few seconds, the hole Janus created on the wall is no longer there.

"What the fuck?!"

Although Janus witnessed what happened to the wall just now, he still does not want to believe it. Janus knows it is stupid to be surprised with it considering he had already experienced a lot of extraordinary things since he opened his eyes as Meluna again. In his defense, can anyone really blame him for acting like that? Logically, Janus had already accepted all these changes in his brain. But he cannot stop his feeling from having a lot of emotions after witnessing some magical shits like those liquified walls.

"Janus, can we now—Woah! You've already fixed it?! You are really great, Janus!" Goliah exclaimed as he stares at the fixed walls of Rozea Dungeon.

"...Yeah. I guess so." Janus answered before letting out a sigh. "Anyways, are you okay now? So the fact that you are finally free from the Rozea Dungeon had finally sunk into your brain?"

"I cannot tell it yet. It really feels like a dream to me! I am actually scared to know if these are all just a dream and I will wake up again inside the cold and quiet dungeon where monsters are lurking everywhere." Goliah answered. "What if these are not real? What if you are also a part of my imagination because I am starting to get crazy inside—Ah!"

Before Goliah can finish words, Janus slapped his beefy friend's forehead with his dominant hand. He became mindful of his strength and controlled the amount of power he will release before he hit Goliah on his forehead. He was actually surprised at how easy to do it even without the help of his system. Janus just has to be mindful of his strength and adjust it in his mind.

"Janus, what was that for?!" It really hurts!" Goliah complained while sitting on the ground and holding his reddened forehead.

"Yeah? But do you still think these are just a part of your dream?" Janus asked him back. "Or maybe do you want me to slap your head again just to be sure?"

"You do not have to be so violent against me." Goliah quickly protested. He slowly stood up and regained his balance while still holding his forehead. "I am already aware that everything is real and I am not dreaming."

"Heh. That's good—Hey! What are you doing this time?!"

Janus was surprised when Goliah suddenly kneeled down on the ground in front of him. As if it is not yet enough, his huge friend also planted his forehead on the ground. Goliah's face is filled with seriousness.

"I want to show you how thankful I am for helping me, Janus. I will never ever forget your kindness towards me. You will always become my benefactor. I do not know how am I going to show my gratitude towards you, but I can swear to be loyal to you for the rest of my life." Goliah sincerely said and pushed his forehead on the ground once again.

"Aiyah. You are so serious, Goliah. I did not do much for you to act like that in front of me." Janus sternly said.

In truth, he is just trying to hide his flustered face from Goliah. He is not really good at receiving gratitude words from other people. Can his huge friend just thank him in a most normal way? It really feels awkward having a huge man kneeling in front of him.

After a few more persuasion, Janus finally convinced Goliah to stand up again. Even his two kittens persuade the beefy guy by pulling his pants from behind. Goliah actually wants to show his gratitude more to Janus but decided to stop when he saw his reddened ears. Goliah just did not know what to do with the bubbling happiness and excitement in his chest. Goliah is starting to become restless and he just thought bowing in front of Janus will help to calm his nerves.

"Anyways, I think we should go now." Janus finally changed their topic. "Are you familiar with this place, Goliah?"

Goliah looked around first before he shook his head.

"Hmm... I am not trying to offend you or anything, but can you still remember the way in case I bring you to a familiar place like the plaza in your kingdom or the roads near the mountains?" Janus asked.

"If the places I used to know did not drastically change after five years, then I still know my way around the kingdom." Goliah answered.

"Alright. Then we already have a plan. Once we finish crossing this dark forest, then I will bring you to a familiar road and you will guide me from there. Get it?"

"Yes." Goliah answered with confidence.

Satisfied with his answer, Janus put Lele on his head while he brought Riri on Goliah's shoulder. The two kittens are both obedient and did not move from their new places. Smiling broadly, Janus looked at Goliah first before he faces the dark forest that is already waiting for them.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let us go back to your home, Goliah."
