Is there 10 stars per category here? 🤪 To be honest, I have seen the book while it still had the old cover on and been ignoring it for I thought it was a boring piece of war novel... Let me tell you RIGHT NOW, it was the WORST DECISION EVER! It turned out I had been ignoring ONE OF THE BEST HIDDEN GEM IN THE FICTION WORLD! How silly and stupid of me? From the scenery, setting, storyline, characters, how each line was intriguing, no unnecessary and overly done cliffhangers but still more than enough to thirst for more chaps? Like I have read hundreds of books both thriller, romance, comedy, zombies and this book certainly stands above all else! The author did a great job at writing it! I just finished it and can't wait to read the following series! 💯💯💯💯💯 👏👏👏👏👏 by the way, I've never been so inlove witha side character like how I fell inlove with Malphus! Hands down! Kudos author Ash!

The author has written this beautiful story so well! The characters are so captivating and wonderfully developed. The story truly pulled me into the realm and was written with enough descriptive qualities I could see the story play out in my head. I began reading the story with Hope's of a good plot at the very least but the author has exceeded my expectations. I will continue on to read the author's other works and hope for the story to go beyond this platform to become a published novel or movie as it is definitely qualified.

absolutely worth the coins& time. The story that Ash has created it breath taking and an emotional rollercoaster. there are a few minor errors here and there but over all a must read for any fantasy lover. the world that has been created is amazing and vivid to the point its like watching a movie. this is the first and ive already read 4 of the books. Alex is one of my favorites ❤

This book is amazing and whole series of Dukes are worth reading. This is an author worth following everywhere. Believe me, you will fall in love with all characters even the "bad ones".

A beautiful story, and remains one of my favourite books. I am absolutely in love with the way the author uses the words with such grace. And as a lover of the vampire, magic, fantasy, historical fiction and romance genre, I found all of it in a single book, intricated in a very beautiful way. And as for the characters, Lord Alexander, Katherine, Malphus are love.♡

I sooo love this story.. It's one of the best stories I've read here in Webnovel.. It has it's own uniqueness but it's fascinating charm doesn't pale in comparison to other stories here.. The world this story created is so vivid in my imagination I started believing it exists.. It pulls you right in the story you feel like you're really there.. I often imagine myself as Katherine, wishing I have Alexander for my own.. sigh..

It's a novel i can never get tired of reading over and over again (I don't repeat a novel but this series is an exception 😉). Loads of love for the author, you are an amazing writer.

This author was in Wattpad and although I already read Valerian empire, I wanted to read it again.. she moved to webnovel and that is the only reason I downloaded the app... I stumbled on this story when browsing, and I'm glad I found it. A wonderful story. The characters are well developed and the pacing is just right. There are some areas where the author needs a bit of proofreading "murder of a council murder" as an example, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the scene. If you like paranormal romance, like Twilight, this is a book for you.

Just giving 5 stars to Alex, alright? You already know and I won't say it. This is the first book everyone should read before reading the other series. You never know the Lords and Masters will call the readers 'coconuts.'

Just completed this book. I like the writing style and story. Pace is good and love the characters. The grammatical errors and ambiguity of sentences did make reading a little frustrating at times but it is still tolerable.

If I'd known sooner that you would put this book on here too I would've read it on Wattpad and here. This is one of the best books I've ever read along with the other ones you write. Thank your parents for me for making you have such a talent with books.

Warning! What you're about to read is very addictive. The world created by this author will suck you in and make you feel as if you're part of it, with foolish and endearing characters you would want to throttle and hug at the same time. A true fantasy novel masterpiece, ENJOY!!!

The stroy is way beyond my expectation. Good thing that I gave this novel a shot or else I would've missed a good story. It is worth reading. I hope this one have a 2nd book. Life after their marriage with kids and all. 👏👏😍❤💓
