1 Chapter 1: Meet the system

Sitting down as I watched the universe under my feet I couldn't help but question the way I died. killed by an asteroid on my first ever date, some part of me wanted to laugh at how bad my life was at the same time what was the point of laughing at myself.

"Next please." A voice said before as a door appears not to far away.

Walking in I felt numb I was about to meet god which was surprising, since I never believed in the supernatural, but here I am. The room was nothing special just an empty room with two chairs. Welcoming myself in I sat on the less luxurious chair assuming it was for whoever I was bound to meet.

" my gosh, Can't I just get a break already..."a feminine voice comes out before one of the walls open up allowing a curvy female with short brown hair and eyes dressed in a white business suit without shoes to walks out. " Why do so many of you keep on dying!" she said not paying attention to me,taking a seat she pulls out a thin file with my name on it. "okay , let's see here..." she says before reading.

I don't remember sitting so uncomfortably since primary school. "whatever she was doing she sure is taking her time" I said inwardly.

"You're going to hell."Placing my file on a desk that I swear wasn't there before. "What?" I responded as my mind slowly digested the information.

"According to your file here, You don't in anyway deserve to even see the gates of heaven..."

"No no no, don't give me that crap! I mean I was unfairly killed and besides I've done some good deeds!" barely managing not to stammer. I was already up on my feet at the back of my mind I could already picture myself inside a volcano, sure I didn't believe but I wasn't gonna let it end like this! Burning for who knows how long *gulp* For the first time ever since arriving here I felt fear. I could swear my pants almost got wet...

"HA HA HA!" the female bursts into tiers of joy "I- I was joking! my word the expression is priceless! Hahaha...."

"Wait? So I'm not going to hell?" I asked just for reassurance before receiving a curious glare from her.

"No your not, But since you decided to die early your going to have to restart?." She says with a cheerful grin.

"Wait wait wait ... I never decided to get hit by a rock from space! and what's this restart? I don't want a restart I want to...."

"No can do, Like I stated earlier you can't go to heaven. * Hands me my file* You don't meet the requirements, and just so you know it you were hit by a flower pot not an asteroid...Not sure how you can confuse the two."

"Come on? 49/50 I only need one point." I rebutted, I only needed one point to get in.

"True but where are you planning on getting it?"

"I'll? I'll- work for it!"

"Prfff! Work? here? Sorry but we aren't hiring." barely containing her laughter the female punches my right arm.

*crack*

"Crap! I think she just broke my arm!!" I say inwardly feeling the stinging pain.

"Don't worry, everyone who comes here leaves there shells behind."she says taking out a file." Lucky for you I've been promoted to JR level. So I have a proposal."

"which is?"

"How good are you with cars?"

"Say what??" Cars did I hear her correctly? why would she what to know about cars? "cough I'm good."

"Driving?"

"Good enough to deliver pizzas on time during rush hour."

"Mechanic skills?"

"I'll have you know I grow up fixing cars." Although I didn't have the best life I still enjoyed some of it even after my racing career went up in smoke....

"Hey? are you listening?"

"ye-yea I'm listening" I lie

"Your problem then." she continues

Taking a few steps back I swear I saw excitement as she said." Now remember to treat this 2nd chance as a fresh start! Don't go around getting hit by flower pots. " a three square magic circles appear in front of her with the smallest being about her height and the latest being at largest twice as big.

looking around I noticed that the ground.... No the entire room we were in had vanished as my eyes slowly adjusted to the bright light. The noisy atmosphere filled with hooting cars and vulgar drivers called out.

"Get out of the way!"

"Who taught you how to drive!"

looking around I found myself in the middle of traffic. "How?" I asked myself noticing an old man on the back passager on his phone." No!!! You can't do that! you know full well the terms of our agreement! your breaching the contact!" the man shouts at the person on the other side of the phone. Ignoring him I found myself taking in the whole ordeal about me being reincarnated rather well, as I breathed in slowly.

"wait a minute..*turns to look at me* Hey buddy! you think you can go faster, I have a meeting to attend." he says with a hint of cockiness.

"Can't you see there's traffic ?!"

"Is that my job? Your job is to get me to my destination not inform me! what are you a weather man?! will you be telling me about how hot it is too?!"

"Why you--" Before I could continue a –1 popped out of the man's head causing a notification to appear, giving the man one last angry glare I turn to the panel

What was this all about? Lucky I wasn't that slow in mixing one and two together but just to be sure I offended the old man as I saw another - 6 pop out. The liking had now decreased to 23.

I wonder what would happen if I decreased it all the way down to zero? I wonder if it works on other people besides customers?

It didn't take long for the traffic to start moving. Driving with only the humble engine to replace the quietness. Nothing in this new life of mine stood out, the streets were still made of asphalt, the traffic lights had there usual yellow,green and red,the people still walked on two legs.

I was a bit disappointed not saying that I don't appreciate not going to hell but from my childhood knowledge of reading novels and manga. I'd expect to see flying dragons talking skeletons and everything beyond the norm. Finally reaching the destination the man bangs the door shut before giving me the middle finger. "Why you son of a...."

*Someone else gets in*

"Taxi! I need you to follow that car!"A high school girl says pointing at a black SUV.....

Shhhh!

As a file is turned into ash the female walks to the corner of the room before opening a secret compartment causing the white light to flicker before turning red.

"Mmmm!"An identical figure covered with dark tape tries to resist.

"Shhhh."The first female says placing her index finger as a cunning smile formed over her calm expression. " Don't worry little sister I won't kill you...not yet anyways....."
