CH 3: The Day the Weapon was Activated [3]

A couple of weeks passed and finally Kushina had been discharged along with her little boy....

Several of her tissues had been affected because during the extraction of the Kyūubi, the Bijūu had made its way through kushina's body to get out, but the great life force she had inherited from her clan had helped her enough to not die and with the proper treatment applied by Tsunade herself, the redhead could now finish recovering at home.

"Hm..."

Konan watched with strange fascination as Kushina nursed her baby with her eyes closed and moaning softly. It seemed that kushina liked it as much or even more than the child....

Kushina was simply biting her lower lip as she felt with delight how the little blondie was feeding from her and lost herself in the pleasant sensation she was provoking on her nipple with his small lips.

"Hey, Kushina..."konan was quite embarrassed by her friend's insinuating moans and tried to get her attention.

"T-Tell me..."Finally the redhead reacted "Tell me, Konan! What's wrong?"

Aware that she had lost herself in this unexpected pleasure, she became quite self-conscious once she detached her little one from her.

"Well, actually I just wanted to tell you that I just joined the Konoha Ninja Squad," replied the blue haired woman, still embarrassed by her friend's scene.

"Oh... That's great," Kushina smiled enthusiastically, recovering her usual intensity, "There was no problem with the old Hokage?"

"No... Fortunately Jiraiya-sensei is now in the village and he recommended me to Sāndaime sama," answered konan, "He said that as soon as he finished with some business he would come to see us...".

"That's very good, Konan..."kushina encouraged her friend "From today, Konoha is your home too!"

Both friends hugged each other carefully, since little Naruto was between the two of them... And that made the moment more special because konan considered that little boy as her nephew, which was somewhat evident because Kushina was the last special person she had left next to the little blonde boy.

At that moment she vowed to protect them as she couldn't do with Yahiko and Nagato.

"And our little man is ready!$

Konan lifted little Naruto to see him when she finished dressing him and changing his diaper. She was wearing her Jounin uniform and the baby was wearing a white jumpsuit with the symbol of the almost extinct Uzumaki Clan embroidered on the back...

Kushina felt guilty for not informing her people of the massacre they subsequently fell victim to and because of that, she would try to see to it that her clan's legacy was maintained. That's why all the blondie's clothes had the emblem of the Uzumaki and the redhead in her spare time wrote a compilation about the customs that she still remembered of her people so that in the future the resurgence of her clan would not be a totally impossible dream.

"Come on Naru-chan, give Aunt Konan a peck" The woman smiled in rapture and brought her face close to that of the playful baby.

The blue-haired girl had once seen that gesture between mother and child and felt a touch of envy, since she obviously did not have such an intense bond with the baby, so on impulse, when she had the opportunity she did the same and had taken it as a habit when she finished changing him, bathing him or sometimes just for the simple pleasure of doing it.

Three months had passed since konan had arrived in Konoha and with a surprising recovery, the renowned red-haired Kunoichi had managed to recover completely and could even resume her Ninja life with some caution ...

She taught basic Fuinjūtsu courses at the Ninja Academy to generate more income for her peculiar household. Then, for Chūnin and Jōnin, there were more complex courses for the needs that Ninja at that level had.

While she was doing that,konan stayed to take care of the baby with all the devotion in the world and although Kushina felt a slight hint of jealousy when she noticed the closeness that her friend had with the little one more as mother and son than as the role of aunt that the immigrant thought she had, she also understood that it was normal in her conditions, besides that it was an invaluable favor that she was doing him by taking care of her adored son when she was doing her chores.

And that enormous affection was the best guarantee that Konan would really take good care of the little one.

"Come on dear, it's time to eat."

The blue-haired girl sat in a rocking chair with little Naruto in her arms and began to feed him with a small bottle that the Uzumaki had left filled with her milk for that purpose.

"You're so cute when you eat..."konan gazed raptly at the baby "You've filled a void in my heart and together with Kushina you've become my new family" Without letting go of her bottle, she pulled the little blondie closer to her body "I'll always be here for you, Naruto..."
