Moum was a veteran.

He was once a knight's squire, but he didn't choose to take up an easy job in the city after he retired from active service due to an injury. Instead, he returned to the perilous village to teach the children how to read and write and cultivate their combat skills.

Life was tough in the village.

It was a lonely place located by the edge of the Elk Forest and the people depended on farming, gathering and hunting for a living.

Although there were plenty of deer in the forest, there were even more beasts of prey.

There were many hungry beasts that often came out of the forest to attack the farmers.

Almost every family in the village had a member who had been attacked by a beast of prey. More than half of those families had a loved one who had perished in the mouths of those beasts.

Moum had witnessed more than a hundred cases. There were an average of 2-3 cases every year!

Just in the previous month alone, a black-spotted wolf had once again attacked the village.

It only managed to grab one of poor old Tom's shoes. His son had also been severely bitten by the animal, and would most likely be unable to work on his farm for at least two weeks.

Moum had rushed out of the village right at that moment but he was only able to watch as Old Tom was being dragged into the forest helplessly.

He hated his helplessness and his lack of talents!

He hated not having earned enough money when he was young because he would have loved to play and drink. Being the case, he couldn't afford to buy a better combat skills manual at the moment.

He could only cultivate himself with the most basic manual and the children whom he was teaching were wasting their talents, given that it was the only book they had. That was such a big regret.

The village's children could get stronger if they had a better manual.

Regardless whether the children chose to stay or leave, they could have a better life.

He often pondered on the rumors about the false gods who liked to entice humans to exchange their souls for power.

Why weren't they tempting him?

If they really did, he would've gladly exchanged his soul for power so he could kill the surrounding beasts and protect the village.

Unfortunately, no false god came to entice him.

Maybe the deities also prefered the rich and looked down on his old and tired soul?

However, all of this began to change two days before.

A hunter from the village had retrieved a mithril ring from a beast's stomach and went to ask him what it was.

After he observed the mithril ring and activated it… Intense shock washed all over his body and soul!

He remembered he was wailing and shouting excitedly!

Many villagers thought he was possessed and even wanted to wake him up by splashing him with sewage water!

He didn't get the false god that he was waiting for. Instead, he found a benevolent deity—The Internet Deity.

He had actually managed to retrieve and share the cultivation knowledge through the amazing Internet Divine Skill. Although the more abstruse knowledge could only be unsealed by special means, just the free part alone had benefited him and his village immensely.

He had been using the available basic magic to test the village's children for the past two days.

Quite fortunately, a thin and weak child in the village actually possessed magical talents.

She had used her soul power to carve out a magical engraving of the Fireball Skill and summoned a small fireball on the spot only after one day of learning.

The entire village was in an uproar when that small and weak fireball appeared out of nowhere!

Moum even wept bitterly.

He knew there was hope for the village!

That day, he had specially killed a pig and a goat, brought out the best stuff in the village to worship and swear his allegiance to the Internet Deity based on the rites he had seen when he was young.

He reported to the Deity that he would amass all the wealth in the village to custom make a batch of mithril rings with the Internet Divine Skill's engravings, so that those literate villagers could wear them and spread the glory of the Deity, allowing everyone to cultivate on their own.

After the worshipping was complete, Moum made someone watch over the offerings so they wouldn't get eaten by the greedy kids, before he left to arrange the knowledge in the Internet's library again.

He intended to write everything down for backup.

Even though he could only copy the free knowledge at the moment, it was still immensely valuable to their village!

Even without taking the basics of all the cultivation systems into account, just the free and open knowledge on medicinal herbs, formulas, metals, wild vegetables and so on could already improve the village's standard of living to a large degree.

Moum spread out the precious white paper when he reached his home. He only activated the Internet Divine Skill after he grabbed a glass spiral brush that was soaked with ink.

"Dud!"

The glass brush slid off from Moum's fingers and left blots of ink on the white paper.

But Moum didn't care about the precious glass brush at all.

He stared at the illusory scroll and his vision suddenly became blurry.

On the upper left corner of the illusory scroll, next to his soul mark, he saw that he had suddenly gained 1000 points out of the blue.

Moum knew that the Internet Deity had been watching him.

Before he could even wipe away his tears, he quickly prostrated himself and expressed his gratitude with loud prayers.

Yu Sheng'an dispelled the Deity's Perspective upon seeing that and began to have some unexplainable emotions.

Was this the feeling of self-actualization?

It felt… rather good!

Rosia was also watching Yu Sheng'an with an astonished expression. She finally understood how the Internet Divine Skill had spread exponentially within such a short time.

Because this was exactly what people wanted. It stood on the side of the peasants, who had the largest population!

Yu Sheng'an inhaled gently before speaking to Rosia, "Did you see that? Many users of the Internet Divine Skill are farmers who have never left the mountains. In fact, I summoned you because of this issue."

"Master, your wish is my command!" Rosia lowered her head.

"I hope you could spare some time to oversee the forum every day. If you encounter users who are asking about cultivation knowledge, please try to answer them if you could."

Yu Sheng'an continued, "Of course, apart from cultivation knowledge, you could also offer answers on other issues. That is, as long as you're willing and know about the subject. You can also post and ask questions on the forum if there's something you want to know about. However, you're not allowed to divulge anything about the shrine to the outside world. Understood?"

"Yes! Rosia understands."

"Go now!"

Rosia bowed and prepared to humbly take her leave.

However, just as she was about to turn around, she suddenly gathered her courage and asked, "Master, could Rosia ask you a question please?"

"Yes, you can."

"May I ask… who Sadako is?"

"Mm? She's a very famous vengeful ghost," Yu Sheng'an answered immediately, without giving it much thought. Then, he added after some pondering, "However, she was very beautiful."

Rosia was taken aback… Is Master implying that I'm beautiful?

What is going on with this racing heart of mine?

"Thank you, Master!" Rosia replied before she floated away in panic.

She heaved a breath of relief after being some distance away from the alchemy room. She bit her lower lip gently as she thought, Why did Master add that explanation deliberately?

Was he praising Sadako?

Or was he implying something?

Rosia couldn't figure it out. But she felt that the castle shrine had become more lively and colorful all of a sudden. Even the magical puppets that were engraved on the walls looked less terrifying. Instead, they even started to look rather adorable!

She immediately activated the Internet Divine Skill when she got back to her room. She began to post after as requested.

In fact, she'd wanted to reply on posts even before this.

Especially about that particular "aeroplane." She knew the words "aero" and "plane" separately, but what did they mean when those two words were put together?

She had only dared to read silently before, as she was afraid that her Master would get angry.

But then she was instructed to post and reply. She was more than thrilled!

Sometimes, she would answer questions; sometimes she would read other people's stories; sometimes she would also post and ask questions that bothered her; sometimes… she even got into quarrels.

Someone had actually questioned her understanding of a particular magic spell. Rosia was very confident about magic as she had been taught by her old Master, Don, personally.

And they quarreled for half a day.

They wrote over 1000 posts and attracted many people's attention.

That was, until someone proved that Rosia was right and helped her in her quarrel against the other party. The other party might have also tried the theory out before the argument was finally settled.

Rosia had an extremely hearty and satisfying quarrel.

From the initial doubt, it proceeded to anger, to factual rebuttal, to the netizen's support and to the other party's eventual concesion.

That feeling was extremely satisfying!

It was so satisfying that Rosia reread the entire quarrel process again and again. As she secretly concluded the process in her heart, she wished she could do it all over again!

She promised she would show them the amazing grace that she had as the maid of the Deity of Contract, no, the Internet Deity if she could do it all over again!

Rosia finally left that post after some time.

Her eyes began to glare like a cat's as soon as she exited the post!

Two special posts suddenly appeared at the very top of the forum.

There were two bold labels in front of the first post that were "Top Post" and "Highlight" respectively.

The title of the post was:

Forum's rules and regulations navigation—Highlighted posts will receive 10 points as a reward!

And the second post was the post in which she had quarreled. At the very front of the post, there was a label—Highlight.
