1 Prologue

RUN! RUN! RUN!

That is what in Maeleen's Head. She can't run faster because her left leg was deeply stabbed. She knows the villain is looking after her. She doesn't know if her friends are still alive or it is her now all along. She wants to look for them but how? even her can't even protect herself.

She wanted to curse everytime her left foot landed on the ground as she runs fast as she could. She is losing energy and near to pass out cause by the massive pain on her leg. But the thought that someone is after her and wants to kill her, it helps her not to pass out.

"Please , God, Help me. " she whisper as she continue running. She looked back and saw no one but darkness. She is in the middle of the woods and doesn't even know when she can see the village again.

Maeleen saw a small cave behind the large tree. She was about to hide there when she heard a loud female voice that made her froze.

"K-Kayline?" her heart breaks when her friends voice vanished. Based on Kayline's voice, her shout signifies that someone is after her and based on the silence it feels like the person that is after Kayline already did something on her.

"N-no, p-please Maeleen don't think that way. " while uttering those words, unknowingly her tears started to run on her cheeks.

Maeleen went back to her senses when she heard the noise of steel being tapped to each other. As she listen to that noise, she realizes that it is coming on her direction.

She hurriedly walked to the cave meters away from her. She make it sure that as she walks ,it doesn't create a sound.

When she is now near to the tree, she realizes that the noise of the steel are gone.

(Did I lost him? ) she asked at the back on her mind.

She took a breath and slowly turned her head to look back. As she looked back, she saw nothing . She's relieved that the villain is not following her anymore. Maeleen turned around to hide on the cave but as she turned around she was now facing the villain. Before she could shout, the villain already stabbed her stomach with his long thin steel that was already covered with blood. Before she lost her conciousness, the villain took off the mask and realizes that the villain is someone she knew.
