2 CHAPTER 2: You Should be my Brother Instead
Keith woke up from her deep slumber feeling really tired, Aridam drink her blood and mana almost as if he just drunk a whole dam.
"I feel like I just donated my whole blood to a hundred people in a single hospital. Aridam! you are only allowed to drink half a liter of my blood!!!"
"The hell! I'm can only have your blood and mana in full moon and that's only 12 times a month for Pete's sake!!!" Aridam, the eidolon spoke bluntly. Aridam and Keith easily get along after 3 days of being together, they got along very well to the point that they have the same attitude.
Keith and Aridam were bickering when the door opened revealing a maid who is wearing an irritated face.
"Desperate b*tch! Go and take a bath and head to the waiting room! You shouldn't make his grace Frederick wait for you just to teach someone like yo-" the maid wasn't able to finish what she was about to say when a dagger graze near her neck almost as if Keith hold herself not to kill her.
"Well, let's see who is a desperate b*tch. Someone who doesn't have any fortune nor a noble title or someone who is a princess and someone who know everything? Isn't you? Someone who seems like they don't know how to wear a maid dress?!" Keith utter in disgust as she glare at the maid who can't take the pressure Keith is emitting.
"lower your head and don't look at me" Keith coldly said making the maid flinch
"You are just a lowly maid, don't make me see you face again or-"
"who knows what will happen? I might kill you and hang your head at my palace's garden" Keith continue and chuckles in a scary way that it seems like if she want to she will really kill the maid and hang the head in her garden. The maid flee holding her lower part as if at any moment she'll pee in fear.
'those maid doesn't even know how to honor their master, I should just kill all the maids here' Keith thought
the maids in the palace flinch and started to shake, some unknown powerful person must be cursing them! well someone is not cursing them but planning to kill them.
Keith hurriedly prepared herself to meet her tutor, Frederick.

"I greet the only princess of Verendus kingdom, Princess Keith Cleave Luis Verisdel." Frederick Rael greet the princess and bow to show respect
"I greet the future duke of Rael duchy" Keith greet back and slightly nod
"I am Frederick Rael, I will be the one to teach the princess about swordsmanship"
When Frederick starts teaching the princess, he was shock not because the princess is listening attentively but because the princess is actually sleeping. It took him 20 minutes to have the princess's focus but he still failed as Keith is not listening at him and just staring at her sword as if she was talking to it.
"Princess do you really wanna learn swordsmanship, you are not listening to whatever I'm saying t all." Frederick lost temper and show his true self, whining at the princess behavior he started to look like a puppy not getting any attention from someone who has food.
while Keith stood there dumbfounded, is this the same teacher in her past life who doesn't care a slightest bit on her? She look at him as if she is dreaming and is waiting for reality to wake her up and bring back the teacher who only teach strictly and has the expression of 'Why am I here? This is a waste of time'
"I already know everything about swordsmanship, so why should I listen to you?" Keith said coldly and lift her sword to point it at his neck
"Your highness, I've never seen you with a sword before so it's impossible that you know everything. And stop playing with the sword it's dangerous" Frederick said while removing the sword who is so close to his neck. Keith crack as she heard his words
"I said that I know everything about swordsmanship because it's the truth and I'm not playing at all!" Keith who is extremely pissed with her teacher utter those words while frowning when suddenly a new idea form in her head. She smirk when she realize how the situation right now favor her.
"What about this duel with me and if I defeat you, you will stop teaching me swordsmanship. And if I lose I'll listen to every word you teach. Deal?" Keith said with a smirk still plastered in her face.
"deal!"
They move to the training ground and Frederick chose a weapon while Keith is waiting for him with her sword buddy, Aridam.
When they are both ready, Keith launch an attack first making Frederick who didn't expect Keith to be this strong step back a little bit. He frown when he realize the situation he was in and also attack the princess. Sweats started to drop of the ground as two swords clang with each other, both person who is holding the sword is enjoying at the same time one of them is also panting.
"Princess! Since when did you learn swordsmanship?"
"Since I was much younger than I am now"
"No one know about this! -ha- you're so young yet you are so talented, Is there -hah- any more secrets and talents you are hiding?" Frederick said while panting with his face having an amused expression
"Of course! I hide a lot of secrets that anyone who know me clearly will be baffled if -ha- I revealed all if it" Keith who is tired finally ended the fight when she saw an opening from Frederick
They both sit on the ground and reach for their breath
"you are really strong! You can even defeat me despite being young"
"heh, of course I can. I won against Mr. Frederick and a deal is a deal" Keith is smiling genuinely as she got what she want
"yes Princess, but please call me Frederick"
"Then I'll call you brother Rick!" She said and once again smiled shooting hearts at the said brother Rick who is now worrying if he have any nose bleed as it would surely embarrassed himself to the princess.
"Alright then"
"You should call me Luis too!"
"yes, yes I will"
Now instead of studying they are now playing building blocks that Keith created in her second day of her rebirth. They are having so much fun that they didn't notice the gaze that was cast to both of them.
"Brother huh?"
