3 Income
It is in the middle of the night. The whole place is already dark and only some weird howling noises and other insect sounds can be heard.
The only source of light on this night is the moonlight, though it is not enough to give him anything to distract himself.
Since afternoon comes, he was getting hunger pangs and his throat felt so dry. He has been contemplating whether to try drinking his own piss, just like what he sees on some worldwide news.
He was a person who lives on an urban city. So he is not used not having to drink or even eat. He felt like going insane just trying to hold it in himself.
Mixed with that is the weird noises, which just makes him more paranoid. Due to fear, he even goes besides the window where the bare amount of light shines through. He didn't want to look at the dark corners or anywhere else other than the window, in fear that something might jumped out.
Even if he really doesn't believe on superstition, just being left in this dark, thirsty and hungry, causes him to become more paranoid. He kept glancing around despite feeling scared of even looking at the dark corners.
His only grace other than the shine of the moonlight is the metal pipe in his hands. His grip on it is strong, and he kept trying to acknowledge that he carries it just so he doesn't get scared a lot more.
He didn't know where to use his two remaining upgrades. There is nothing else he can do about that.
He can't even think straight, and his mind is stuck on waiting.
Specifically, he is waiting for that prompt to appear again. The one that announces the increases for his upgrades.
"Ugh...." He tries to stifle his groan, fearing for someone to hear him.
Still, he can't help but let out a grunt as he felt his stomach protesting. He wanted to eat something now. Everything just to sate his hunger.
"Am I... really going to drink my piss?"
He is seriously contemplating about that when suddenly, a prompt occurs in his vision.

"!?"
He is shocked to see it at first, before his eyes glinted in excitement. "Finally!" He exclaims, as he stood up from his sitting position.
He has been waiting for it. The prompt that will increase his upgrades.

His lips quirk in a smile, before he groaned and felt an intense pain in his stomach.
"Ugh! I'm hungry!"
With that, he immediately tries to think of something.
But, his mind is so preoccupied with his hunger and thirst that all that he can think of are delicious meals and tasteful beverages.
"Water!"
With his thoughts, he quickly go to the section of this room where he saw the empty sink. He is not really thinking straight and only though of having something to drink. Anything to sate both his hunger and thirst.
With the relief that he can upgrade things, he decided to upgrade the sink. He didn't stop whenever he can't see any water on the tap.

The sound of tap water running resounded on this room, and his eyes lightened up before using his hands to scoop up the water.
It is a miracle. The sink isn't even connected to any water lines though somehow, it is producing water on the tap.
He took a moment to wash his hands, before taking a scoop and drinking it directly.
He really didn't know if it's fresh or anything. It's too dark and he only got to this place because he mentally remembered how it looks like.
His eyesight is getting used to the dark so he can see the general outline of the sink and the water.
The Super Sink looks very elaborate, though he is not sure until he managed to find any light source to see it carefully. The water it made seems to be fresh and delicious, as evident with the taste in his tongue.
He still felt hungry and thirsty so he took some mouthful of waters before finally feeling a bit sated. After that, he finally notice where he is, and almost panicked.
'Damn! Too dark!' He thought with his eyes filled with apprehension.
The darkness is making him nervous. He don't know what lurks within the walls, despite making sure awhile ago that nothing is in here.
He closes the tap on the Super Sink and tries to traverse the dark room before finally seeing the light coming from the window. He quickly goes there and sits below it, a sigh escaping his lips before glancing at the night skies.
"I have water now. Though I really need light. I feel so scared not having anything to light up my area." He muttered.
Then he looks at the broken lantern. An idea forming into his mind.
'If I managed to create a sink that can produce tap water, how about the lantern?'
He touches it and upgrades it, repeating it until he got the result he wanted.

After it achieves the super rank, it suddenly creates light that is too bright it makes him cover his eyes instinctively. He winces at the sudden radiance before slowly opening it.
It seems like the lantern is truly bright. It is as bright as an LED light, which really stings his eyes. He quickly tries to glance somewhere and see that the whole place is now lighted up.
He took a sigh of relief after seeing that no surprises are found. He half expected to see some big monsters hanging above or something when he achieves some light, but nothing of the sort happens.
The light is too strong. It easily overwhelms the light on the moon. He looks around and he can see that the room to the sink is also being reached by it.
He tries to take the lantern but glancing at it causes him to squint his eyes and feel it stinging. It really is too harmful for his eyes.
"Ugh! Is there anyway to lower the intensity!?"
While his head is turned a bit to the side, he uses his hands and tries to venture his hands on the outline of the lantern. He is trying to find anything, like a switch, to lower the intensity of the light.
Feeling something like a button, he pushes it and finds the light almost lowering to manageable levels.
He finally got the time to stabilize his sight and look at the lantern carefully. He gasps in amazement at the sheer beauty of the lantern. It looks like it was made by a great artist just looking at it's decorative designs, and nice vine-like images.
He looks besides it and see three buttons. Looking carefully, he sees that it indicates Off, Low, Middle, and High. The button for Low is currently pressed down.
He tries pushing the Middle button and the light intensifies for a lot, like it's an LED light bulb. Though it is not as intense as awhile ago.
Feeling satisfied, he decided to leave it like that and carry it by it's handle. He decided to put it on the corner where this room and the room where the sink is located will be reached by it's light.
After that, he goes to the sink and look at it. The sink looks brand new. It also looks bright and seems to be sparkling if he squinted his eyes carefully. Rolling the knob on the faucet, water pours out on it. The water looks very clean, and he can't see any impurities in it.
He looks below and is curious. He didn't know where the water pipes goes from. It is a sink, but where it will pour it out after it goes on the sink?
He is curious about that. The pipe below the sink is connected to the wall, and he didn't know if it will go down on some water pipeline. He also didn't know how it can even create water other than a vague reason that it might because of his powers.
".... Right. Let's not question it and be satisfied." He nodded to himself.
He really can't do anything with it. So he decided to just stop thinking. He already have water, so there is no need to think about the workings behind it.
He looks at his status.

He didn't know what to do with the remaining four but he decided to think about that tomorrow.
After having something to drink, he felt a bit sleepy. He didn't know what time is it but he predicts that it might be on the middle of the midnight. The moon is already on the west, which means that the sun might be rising soon.
He looks at his windows and tries to knock on it. He nodded after seeing that it is sturdy enough. Then he goes to the door and also makes sure that it is locked.
After making sure that everything is fine, he laid on the floor just a fair distance on the Super Lantern. The Super Metal Pipe is put on his arm's reach just in case.
It is hard, but maybe because he is also tired enduring the hardship of being hungry and thirsty for a long time, he managed to sleep after rolling around on the floor for awhile.
