Mateus died with the regret of never having fulfilled his life's purpose. However, death is not the end and he is promptly given a second life, where suddenly... In a new world, where cultivation of magical abilities and the pursuit of immortality are common aspirations, Mateus has the power to Consume and Upgrade. Consume and Upgrade what? Everything! Consume and upgrade one's physical strength; punch a mountain into oblivion! Consume and upgrade one's constitution and vitality; survive a nuclear bombing! Consume and upgrade one's skills; in a matter of seconds, he becomes a grandmaster! Talent, Understanding, Material, Abstract... All can be consumed and upgraded! Author's Note: Note sure if this qualifies as a system novel. LitRPG, probably. However, there is no shop, no missions or quests or whatever, no gatcha. Only, Status, Consumption, and Upgrade. Then again, there's nothing stopping me from writing some bullshit where the MC need only consume some special thing to upgrade his cheatsy special ability and turn it into a system. Who the fuck am I writing this for? Not really sure at this point. Could this a sign that I'm going insane? Eh... Food for thought~
