The Academy's combat ranking list is subject to continuous change based on the results of official duels between students. At the end of every month, official duel matches take place in the academy arena, where any student can challenge the top 12 for their rank. And the entire academy will be present to witness the event.

Ranking higher on the list means receiving a higher monthly salary from the academy, with those ranked outside of the top 12 also receiving points, but not as many as those ranked higher.

Apart from official duels, students can also engage in unofficial duels to challenge each other for SP.

"Here's your badge, Caius," Scarlett said as she handed over the crystal star badge to him.

Caius took it from her but noticed Scarlett's sudden change of expression, causing him to raise an eyebrow in confusion. "...Is something wrong, Miss Scarlett?" he asked.

Scarlett's forehead started to sweat as she stammered, "N-no, it's nothing." She quickly composed herself and put on an awkward smile.

Caius shrugged and returned to his seat.

And as Aria and Ember received their badges, Scarlett announced, "That's it for today. You can explore the academy for the rest of the day. Formal classes will begin tomorrow."

With that, she hurriedly left the classroom, leaving behind the creaking sound of the closing door.

The notifications icon displays any important updates or announcements from the academy.
