8 Chapter 8: The Second Phrase

The following phase was to spy on Aiden and discover his whereabouts after school. Considering that Pauline was his classmate, she had to figure out a strategy to do so. The three girls took turns to spy on Aiden to obtain the required information to get the job done. Sarah was beginning to believe that her companions were defying her for an important reason, so two girls had to handle her whereas the other one would locate out his whereabouts. Amongst the three girls, Pauline was in the best position to obtain information about Aiden from his friends behind his back.

Pauline somehow caught Aiden's best friend Chris to spill out some information about him. Chris raised his eyebrows and asked in curiosity, "Why do you care about what Aiden does? Do you have a crush on him?" Pauline got irritated and said, "No! And that's none of your business!" She took out ten dollars out of her pocket and snapped right back at him, "Here, now you will give what I need from you and no questions asked. Or else, you and I will have a problem." Chris gave up and told her that Aiden is a part of the school's track and field team and he goes there after classes were concluded for the day.

Pauline had a mischievous grin on her face and left the room with Chris wondering. After school, Pauline shared the details of the incident with Olivia and Mavis. Mavis spoke out, "Great work, Pauline! The third phase is about to commence." Olivia asked with an inevitable confusion in her mind, "What does that mean?" Mavis and Pauline exchanged a glance and spoke together, "It's time to get Sarah into the track and field team!!"
