7 Chapter 7: Back To Square One

The initial stage of the Mission was to gather intel on Aiden. Considering that none of them knew the actual details of Sarah and Aiden's first encounter, they needed to evade into Holland College to seize the CCTV footage that was used to videotape the happenings of that day. Since Pauline's parents were away from Charlottetown due to an unusual business affair, the idea was to have a sleepover at her residence.

Sarah didn't get an invitation, for obvious reasons. Mavis summoned a confidential discussion at the SPOT to review the dates for the sleepover. For this whole plan was a secret, the three of them began to ignore Sarah and not invite her from their rendezvous. Sarah promptly recognized that there was something peculiar happening. She started to feel depressed, but she didn't understand that her companions were doing this for her.

Eventually, that day arrived when they were going to sneak into Holland College to determine what happened during the tour. Mavis and Olivia arrived at Pauline's house an hour late as they lost their way. As the clock struck midnight, the three girls packed their bags and departed for Holland College. They assumed that the janitors must have finished their shifts. Pauline removed her devices from her backpack and inaugurated the hacking procedure into the CCTV system. All cameras successfully stopped functioning. So they could sneak into the college from the staff entrance. Each one possessed a walkie-talkie alongside them so that communication wouldn't claim too much attention. The three of them split up and eventually found their way to the control room. Mavis switched on the control screen and whispered furiously, "Dang it! The control system is password protected. There's no way we will get in!" Olivia has a critical condition called fits. Whenever she begins to panic, she will unconsciously start singing. And the worst part is, she cannot hear anyone. But this condition would last only for 30 seconds. As soon as Mavis announced that the system was password-protected, Olivia started trembling and quivering with high anxiety. And not much later, she began singing in high unmusical tones, "SO GAYA YEH GADHA, SO GAYA WOH GADHA, SO GAYI SARI BAKRIYAAN..." Pauline yelled at Mavis, "Mavis! Find a way to shut her up! I will hack the system!" As Pauline began her work, Mavis came to Olivia's side and screamed at her, "What the fuck are you doing? Stop this foolishness at once!" But Olivia didn't budge. After a lot of complications on the way, Pauline successfully hacked into the security systems and was able to view the required footage.

Mavis and Pauline were watching the footage and noting the details of the event while Olivia was chanting her prayers in Hindi.

Ordinarily, Pauline is the docile one in the group. But at that instant, Pauline lost her composure.

She ran outside the room into the bathroom on their floor, grabbed a pitched lying there, filled the entire container with ice-cold water and emptied the container on Olivia. She yelled at the top of her voice, "SNAP OUT OF IT, YOU INDIAN BAFOON!" She finally snapped into her senses and it all over Olivia and shrieked "What happened? Are we in prison?" Mavis and Pauline revealed the details of that footage. Pauline covered the traces on the security systems and the three of them sneaked out of the institution and returned home cautiously.
