Unwanted Faces

No one knows who they are supposed to fight. The villain is unknown and the hero.... is the hero by our side? His face felt very different when he saw it every time, he knew that one of the faces was not really his, but what could he even do about that? Jennovice was rescued from a burning house, taken in by the kind Daves couple and their daughter. He always found it weird how she looked completely different than her parent and even her behavior, but he did not pay much attention, since he loved her a lot and she too loved him. Zachary always felt some sort of similarity between his adopted son and his biological son, but still he could not bring himself to ask him to call him 'Dad'. "He might get replaced at this rate." p.s. The story was set in a different universe than ours, the names are the same but the histories and geography might be different. The ruling system and what is considered normal are also very different in the story.
