THE STORY OF PERSEPHONE AND HADES

Is this a love story or stolkholm syndrome?

In a far off mythical world called Greece,a myth was born.Persephone, previously known as Kore was the daughter of Demeter_the goddess of harvest and fertility,she herself was the goddess of spring,some say Zeus is her father which would make more sense with the amount of illegitimate heirs he had

Demeter was aware that Kore was a great beauty and so in fear of her being taken away she sent her to Sicily to hide but unknown to her,Kore was seen by none other than the king of the underworld himself_Hades,and fell madly in love with her and went to ask his brother Zeus for help

While Kore was out with her maidens one day,Zeus and hades hatched a plan,they had Gaia_Mother earth,grow the most beautiful plant,a Narcissus,on the top of the hill. Kore was so enchanted by the flower that she left all of her maids behind and hiked up that hill.

Once she got to the top of the hill,she tried to pull out the Narcissus,she used all her energy and pulled and pulled and pulled until the flower was out,.The hole that the flower was pulled out from grew bigger and bigger until Kore fell down deep into the underworld.
