After some time, the sound of metal hitting a glass entered everyone's ears and more eyes turned to focus on the new Queen

"Everyone, please gather around" An attendant from Kira's side said. All the people present around gracefully walks towards her

Perhaps, only Cairo is the person that does not have a Noble aura around him as he was not born from a Noble or Royal Family. Only Cairo walks in a normal fashion unlike the Nobles that are full of fake sophistication

"I have another announcement to make" Kira said before her eyes turned to look at Cairo that was standing at the back of the Nobles trying to make his presence as weak as possible

Unfortunately for Cairo, his sister wants to give him the best treatment, and to do that, he must have a formal status or position. Being known to be someone that the Queen favored already made the number of people that will bully him blatantly to lessen and now, giving him a formal position will make that number even lower

"Cairo, come here" Kira said and Cairo felt a but if aggravation. Here he was, trying his best to be as invisible as possible but Kira is giving him tens of thousands of spotlight

Cairo walks towards Kira with heavy footsteps while feeling unconscious at the eyes that were watching every inch of his movements

As soon as Cairo stood next to Kira, the Queen gave all the influential figure in the Kingdom a warning look before speaking

"This is Cairo, I treat him as my younger brother and the Royal Family will adapt him. From now on, he will be Cairo Endan!" Kira announced causing the Nobles to murmur with each other

That made Cairo even more uncomfortable. For him, being a part of the Royal Family or not doesn't matter. As long as Cairo has enough cultivation resources and peace, that's already enough for him

"Your Majesty, being a part of the Royal Family is a huge honor. How can you possibly give that kind of position to no one? He's not even a talented mage!"

Just like what Kira expected, there are people that will act like this. The occasion that Kira showed what she can do is still limited and she wants to use this chance to solidify her position that no one can shake

"General Kaba, remove Baron Kan's Nobility. He and his family will be demoted as commoners" Kira mercilessly said. To make sure that no one will make a move on her and Cairo, Kira needs to show how mercilessly she can be

It would be tiring if Kira always needs to deal with the Nobles' arrogance every single time that she wants to do something. They have been suppressed for too long by the previous King and they thought that they can act however they want just because they know that the former princess that was banished was kind to other people

They are wrong though as Kira knows what she can and can't do!

"Y-Your Majesty! You c-can't do that! How can you act like this as soon as you reign in the throne. This is an abuse of power just like what the previous King does!" The Noble accused but his words actually made a lot of sense

There are a few of Kira's actions that were forceful like the things she said she will implement back at the ceremony. Things like those should have been talked with the Nobles and Officials first but Kira didn't do that. She decides things on her own

However, for Kira, it was unnecessary. The process would just be harder and longer if she talks with the Nobles first

For example, the making of the Larton Academy. Almost all Kingdoms have an Academy like that but with these Nobles interfering with their own twisted views on things, for the Academy to be approved would surely take a lot of time

The Nobles want to keep their status and power. They will feel threatened if a commoner rose into power even though the Kingdom's situation is not currently good. The Kingdom needs to produce as many strong mages that they can!

The other Kingdoms cannot attack the Larton Kingdom but that does not mean they cannot do any underhanded tactics to put pressure on them

The situation will only stabilize if the Larton Kingdom produces mages at the same level as the ones they have lost

The conflict between the King, Princes, and Dukes might look simple but it has a lot of complications. The strongest mages in the Kingdom picked their own sides only to end up in a mutual destruction

Kira just looked coldly at that Noble while still sitting on her throne. Her veins suddenly become visible before they glowed with a golden color. This thing is what made her qualified to be the Queen and it is also her's and the Kingdom's strongest trump card

"Stop looking at me like that, I don't like it" Kira said to the Nobles that were agreeing with the Baron. "Punishing someone that wants to prevent the Queen from adapting someone into 'her own' family is already seen as an abuse of power? Is that the standards for abusing power now? Why? Is my family, your family?"

The Nobles immediately shut their mouths. If it was the Royal Family of before, any of them cannot adapt someone just because they want to. The other Royals won't easily accept that

But .... as Kira is the only member of the Royal Family, who can stop her? Just like what Kira said, it is her family's matter. However .... she is the Queen, the Nobles can't easily accept a nobody having a formal position higher than theirs

"Now, if you all really think that what I am doing is an abuse of power. Feel free to choose the Baron's side and dethrone me"

The Nobles around that Baron immediately moved to the side because of Kira's words. It was hard to combat one's own arrogance but they knew they can't lose the Queen

"General" Kira said and looked at General Kaba after the Nobles stop supporting the ex Baron. "On it, your majesty" General Kaba replied respectfully before he walks towards the Noble that started being hysterical

"N-no! This position is given to me by my ancestors! You cannot take it!" The man said while losing his mind and he even attempted to attack the Queen

A huge tall pillar of fire that rose to the skies appeared around the Baron's body. It even destroyed the ceiling above and the metal in it melted

The people around frowned before they protected themselves using their own magical powers. If it were other people that were caught in that fire's range, they would surely be fried alive

Fortunately, all the older Nobles that are powerful mages are in the front. They too have a power that is equal or above the Baron, thus, none of them sustained any injury

A fiery streak that sent hit heatwaves around approached Kira that just watched with a bored look before an unassuming silver liquid entered that fire

Soon, the fire vanished and the Baron can be seen again. The silver liquid was wrapped in his body and the Noble cannot use any of his magic again

General Kaba is not a feared General for nothing! His strength was one of the tops among the high-ranking officials!

"Please stop resisting or I'll be force to kill you here for treason" The General said calmly but everyone's heart turned cold. They knew that his mood now is not good and that isn't a good sign

Even the Baron that was angered to death can feel fear but he also cannot let his Nobility title be taken away. If he let that happen, how can he face his ancestors after death?

The Noble tried moving around to destroy the silver liquid on his body but it was a futile attempt. There is a large difference between his and the General's power

Kaba's face turned colder before the silver liquid covered the entirety of the Noble's body. "Please excuse me, Queen, I'll take care of this treasonous bastard" Kaba said to Kira that nodded her head

The General flew in the air with the silver cocoon on his side. All the people that know Kaba is sure that that Noble will have a bad ending

Cairo that was forgotten by everyone clenches his fist. He can feel how powerful the fire pillar the Baron made earlier but that man was easily defeated by Kaba

How can these people have such monstrous strength? They are always making Cairo feel how powerless he is

"Alright, now that the nuisance is gone, is there anyone here that wants to dethrone me too?" Kira said while eyeing the Nobles one by one

After watching the earlier scenes, how can they dare do such a thing? At normal times, it was hard to remove a Noble's Nobility Title but now .... if Kira wants to do that, she can do it almost effortlessly
