44 Heartbeat Heartbeat!!

On the dinner table everyone is enjoying the dinner and praising Ani for her cooking skills.

"Why are you praising her so much? I mean look at this dish...it's so salty and this it was so spicy," said Jun showing them the dishes.

"Jun everything is perfect. You yourself don't know anything about cooking. Ani don't listen to him," said Dowan to Ani who was beside Dowan and caressed her head.

"Brother is saying right. Ani you've cooked delicious dinner," said Seori with a smile. Ani thanked them. After eating dinner they were ready to leave when Jun said that he will stay behind as he has to explain to her some work, so he will come home later. Dowan nodded and left with Seori and Eunhi. Tae and Jae too stay there.

"What do you want to explain?," asked Ani.

"You forget the most important file of the project in the office. When will you stop your childish acts?," asked Jun and put his hands on his pockets.

"Hey don't scold her," said Jae.

"You both go out from here. If you will be around then I won't be able to make her work," said Jun and pushed them outside of Ani's room. He locked the doors behind him and turned to Ani.

Ani immediately sat on the chair and opened her laptop. She started reading the file. Jun stood behind her chair and said, "you don't need to read it. Open the charts and analyze the data with those charts which you made yesterday. If the figures day perfectly then we are going in the right direction else we've to change the parameters."

Ani did the same and started calculating the figures. Jun took the other chair from the bedside and sat beside her and took the laptop from her. Ani looked at him. "Stop staring at me and focus on the screen. I'll explain only once and if you made a mistake tomorrow, I'll throw you out of the company," said Jun while making the calculations on the laptop. Ani focussed on the things whatever he told her. She jotted down the important things on the notepad.

"I'll make the presentation," said Ani and try to take the laptop from him.

"It's fine. I will make it. From the next time you have to make it," said Jun. Ani told him about the file locations where she has kept the statistics and tables. Jun accordingly placed them. He was doing the work when his eyes fell on a folder named, Love.

"What's this?," murmured Jun and clicked on the folder. Ani looked where he had clicked and got shocked to see that he clicked on the wrong folder, the folder which she doesn't want Jun to see. She immediately put her small palms on his eyes, not letting him see.

"What are you doing?," asked Jun and held her palms. He pushed them away when Ani put her face before him and with her hands she immediately closed the laptop before Jun could actually see what was inside that photo. He put his big hand on her face and pushed her away but the laptop was closed.

"What was that folder?," asked Jun.

"Ahh...that….that ...Cho told me to download a movie for her as she was busy and then I downloaded that and named it love because it's a romantic movie. I'll delete that," said Ani with an assured look.

Jun gave her a slight laugh and said, "kid am I a fool?," asked Jun and picked the laptop from the table and opened it. Ani tried to snatch the laptop from him but Jun didn't let it go. He got up from the chair and then ran towards her small bed, climbed on it. Seeing him Ani climbed on the bed but by then Jun had already opened the folder and saw his photos, his numerous photos. He looked at Ani who bowed her head down. "So this is the romantic movie you were talking about. You took my photos while working in the office…. You indeed are making good use of this office laptop," said Jun with a smile and then made an angry face.

"Ahh...that …..," murmured Ani when she saw he almost pressed the delete button. She quickly snatched the laptop from him but Jun didn't let her take it. She pulled it with her full force and in the event her foot slipped off the bed but Jun caught her and they both fell on the bed with a loud thumping sound.

"Ahhh," Ani winced in pain and felt Jun's chest beneath her. She raised her head and saw Jun's face. She tried to get up but again fell on him. This time her hair fell over Jun's face and their eyes met but Jun shifted her gaze from hers. Ani got numbed at her place. She got lost in Jun's black eyes. By then Jim has permanently deleted that folder and then turned his gaze on Ani.

Ani was smiling looking at him when Jun flicked at her forehead. Ani realized their position and tried to get up from him but wasn't able to. Jun sighed and grabbed her waist gently and got up. Her heart started pumping fast because they were so close. Ani was on his lap while Jun's one arm was around Ani's waist. Both looked at each other for some time when Jun said, "get off me."

"Ehh… oh yes," mumbled Ani and then immediately got off him and apologized to him.

"I've deleted the photos. Now from now on if you did this then I'm going to punish you," said Jun and put her laptop on the table. "Come early tomorrow at 7 am and you'll drive me to the office daily." Saying this he walked towards the door, opened it and walked out from there.

Ani sighed and then immediately checked the laptop. "Ahhh oh no, he deleted the entire folder permanently," murmured Ani.

She put her laptop aside and laid down on the bed. She touched her heart. "I wish I could be his girlfriend. Ahh tomorrow evening they will go to the theater so I'll also go. Hehe….it will be fun watching him from aside." She closed her eyes and recalled the recent moments with Jun.

She smiled and then giggled thinking about that. She opened her eyes and said, "But he is in a relationship. It's not good to think like this. Aghhh I can't stop thinking about him." She hid her face in the pillow and kept on giggling.

Soo in his room was thinking about the talks he had with Cho.

"Will it be good to involve her with me? At some point she will need love of mine. What if we weren't able to find the evidence. That way I will ruin her life because I don't love her either. I can't fall in love with anyone for now neither can I think about this as my sister and friend's life is in danger. I don't even know my future. Yes, I shouldn't involve Cho in this. But then she also doesn't love me and I feel comfortable around her. We both can be compatible with each other. I will find the evidence at any cost," thought Soo in his mind.

He laid down on the bed and looked at the ceiling. "I wish I could've good parents like every other child. I wish my parents could understand my priorities. What wrong had happened that my father and mother became like this. Ani must've felt bad when she learnt that my father killed her father. I've to give justice to my uncle at any cost….the day she cried was the worst day of my life. As a brother I wasn't able to do anything for her," murmured Soo when her mother knocked at the door and he came out of his thoughts.

Soo looked towards the door and saw her mother. Rudely he asked,

"What happened?"

Huwa Ri came inside and sat near him on the bed. "Son, your father talked with me about your love. I don't think she's perfect for you. Maybe she's after your money that's why she kept her friendship with you so that you can marry her," said Huwa.

Soo gave a slight laugh to her and said, "how can a mother be like this? I told you that I'm not comfortable around Myung. I can't even bear her sight. About that girl, you can't say anything. I have known her since my childhood days. If you want me to marry then I'll marry her else I won't. Father has asked me about my life so I told him….let's not talk about this now. You can go away because my head is aching and you're making it worse." He laid down on the bed. Huwa didn't say anything and walked outside of Soo's room after closing the lights behind her.
