Unfamiliar Sights

I groaned and with great effort, I slowly opened my eyes and behold the view that awaited me.

The swirling sapphire and lapis colored portal, the luscious green grass swaying with the wind, the elegant and strong trees that rustle gently, the delicate pond that produces a small water ripple with a rhythm in sync with the big plump white and red-orange carps movements, and the beautiful creatures that gracefully glide trough the maze of trees and away from my sight.

But I don't remember any of it.

It wasn't familiar in the least.

But that didn't really bother me.

However, I was a little disturbed about how I practically don't know my own identity. I know my name and that's about all, and I can't recall anything else. I can't seem to remember where I came from, my family, what I did before, and the list stretches on forever.

All the things I should have known by heart were foreign me. I didn't recognize my own pale, snow-white skin, my silky silver hair that was let down and traveled all the way to my hips.

I decided to look in the pond and I saw a boy staring back at me. He had an indescribable expression and quite a unique appearance, but what really stood out was his eyes. His eyes were big and the color of deep, crimson red. He also had silver hair that was currently a little untamed with some hair hanging down the front of his face.

To be honest, he looked like a girl with his petite body and long eyelashes. He was also an shade of unsettling pale white.

I then moved away from the pond and the boy mirrored my movements and I suddenly realize the boy was me. I felt myself blush. I could already see what shade of red I was.

I felt humiliated even thought there is no one to blame but me. Trying to comfort myself, I reminding myself that I was alone and there was no one to witness what was already my deepest darkest secret. I was alone, I repeated to myself over and over. Probably.

I was distracted with the foreign environment, the details, and my own reflection and didn't notice my other surroundings.

So, I turned and looked around to check if there was anyone nearby.

And damn, what did I see.
