3 Chapter 2

Soojung's POV

Taeyong, Jieun, Jaehyun, Johnny, and I are in a restaurant having breakfast. Eun Na couldn't join us because she has classes. I was eating quietly ignoring all the noises that Johnny's making when the bell of the restaurant rang indicating customers are entering the restaurant. I was still ignoring the noise called Johnny when suddenly, I felt someone wraps their arms around me. I froze and let go of my spoon. I look at Taeyong who's sitting across from me with a slight mad face. He was looking at the person who's hugging me with angry eyes. Why is he not helping me?

"Annyeong Soojungie!" the person said while looking at me. It was Taehyung oppa.

"Oppa!" I shouted at him.

"You scared me, pabo-ya" I hit his arm.

"Hey Soojung-ah" Seongwoo sunbaenim greeted while Jungkook sunbaenim waves at me. I look around and only saw the three of them.

"Oh? Only the three of you again? Aren't you guys supposed to be the F4?" I said. At the same time, I said that a tall good-looking guy who's wearing a button-up shirt and black pants entered the restaurant.

"Sorry, I'm late!" the guy said as he hurried at the F4 while holding his bag on one shoulder.

"Speaking of the devil!" Jungkook sunbae said.

"The school director's son! Mister Rich Boy" Seongwoo teased while playfully hitting Jungkook.

"Stop that Seongwoo!" Jungkook snapped annoyingly.

"Oh! So you're the fourth member?" I asked.

"Yes. Let me introduce you guys, the school director's son, Park Jinyoung" Taehyung oppa said.

"Annyeongsaeyo! It's very nice to meet everyone!" he greeted himself.

"Hi, I'm Soojung, Taehyung's cousin," I said, bowing to him getting up from my seat.

"I've heard a lot about you!" Jinyoung sunbae said. I smiled at him.

"Hi, I'm Taeyong" he shakes his hand.

"Hi, I'm Jieun. I'm Soojung unnie's best friend. Now I really get why you guys are the F4. You're very good-looking" she said with a smile.

"I'm really not" Jinyoung sunbae replied.

"Hi! I'm Jaehyun"

"I'm Johnny"

At the same time, Eun Na enters the restaurant. "Hey, guys! My professor ended class early today!" she said as she entered.

"Oh? Eun Na-yah, how did you know we're here?" Jaehyun asked her.

"I texted Jieun unnie and she said you guys were here" she replied.

"This is Jinyoung sunbaenim!" Johnny said.

"Oh! It's nice to meet you sunbaenim!" Eun Na said with a pretty smile.

"O-oh...nice to meet you too," Jinyoung sunbae said shyly, slightly stuttering.

"Eun Na-yah! Here!" I said.

"Thanks, unnie!"

'I know they just met but there is no way Jinyoung sunbae likes Eun Na that fast. I hope he doesn't do anything stupid' I thought to myself as I eyed Jinyoung sunbae at the table beside us. We just talked and all of sudden, I saw Jieun walking out of the restaurant, confused. I wanted to go after her but someone else went instead. I was surprised myself.

Jieun POV

We were talking when suddenly my phone vibrates. I looked at my phone and it turns out I received a message from Mark. I read it. I was shocked. Everything around me stopped. I felt as if my heart was stabbed a million times. I pushed my chair back in hurry and went outside. Everyone was starring at me questioningly but I didn't care. I walked outside the restaurant and started dialing Mark's number but he didn't pick up. I dialed again and leave him a voicemail.

"Are you serious, Mark?! Really? Please call me back, please. We really need to talk about this, please Mark. Please"

I dialed again and he still didn't pick up. I stood there, outside, in the cold, freezing not caring anymore. The people around me, my surroundings were just a blur until I felt the warmth around my shoulders.

"Why are you standing out here without your jacket. You're going to catch a cold" he said.

"Thanks...oppa," I said as turn to face him. I could tell who it was just by his voice. It was Taeyong oppa.

"What's wrong? Why did you leave the restaurant like that? Why are you upset?"

"Nothing, really..." I told him.

"Tell me. I've never seen you this upset before"

"It's okay, I'm fine oppa!"

"I know you and you're not fine. Tell me right now! What Happened!" he said with a slightly loud voice. I just stood there, not wanting to tell him but...

"LEE JIEUN!" Taeyong oppa finally shouted.

"fine...I'll tells you" I hesitated a bit but then, I let out a deep sigh. One that was very difficult for me to release.

"Mark...he..." I can feel tears welling down from the corner of my eyes but I still continued.

"He...he..he broke up with me..." then I started to cry. Suddenly I was pulled into a hug. I really needed it but I know Soojung unnie might get the wrong idea and I didn't want to hurt her. She still doesn't know.

"Oppa...Soojung unnie still..." I said while pulling myself away from the hug.

"I don't care. Right now, I care about you! Are you going to be okay? I wanna know..." he said releasing from the hug and putting his hand on my shoulders. I was about to answer him when...

"What are you guys doing?" Johnny oppa said. I quickly wiped away my tears.

"Come on, we need to go back to class!" Jaehyun said. Soojung unnie gave me my coat while giving me a weird look.

'Oh no...did she sees what happened?' I thought to myself.

"Thanks" I gave back Taeyong his jacket back.

{Arriving at the uni}

We walked back to the university. We went to our class. We're having vocal class. We were asked by the teacher to perform a song with great emotions. Soojung unnie was up first. She sang 'Through the night by IU' and she sang it beautifully.

I can tell that song was for Taeyong oppa because of the lyrics literally tales of their relationship. She must really love him and he loves her. I stared at how happy their relationship is and wishing I could have that again. I was caught up with my own thoughts that I didn't realize that someone was talking to me.

"Hey.." I turned and it was Soobin.

"Hey...what's up," I said back as if nothing happened.

"Are you okay?" he said slightly worried.

"I'm fine.." I told him.

"Are you sure? You seem pretty upset... Did something happen?" he said.

"Look... I really don't want to sound rude because you're really sweet for asking but I can't really tell you about it" I told him, sweetly.

"I totally understand!"

Soojung unnie finished her song. And then the teacher compliments her for her amazing performance. She then sat right back at Taeyong oppa and I can see that he was teasing her about the song.

"Next, Eun Na!" the teacher said. Then Eun Na sang. She sang 'Always by Yoon Mirae'.

She always hides her voice when she has amazing vocals. Both unnie and I always try to convince her to pursue it but she seems to love the law more. She loves creating justices for people, that's one thing I love about her. I really do envy her. Even after the passing of Jaemin, she still found love. I'm glad that she's happy again.

Eun Na finished her song and "That was amazing, Eun Na" the teacher said.

"Thank you, ssaem"

"Okay, I know the majority of you guys have boyfriends and girlfriends but love can't be the only feeling you could express today...Come on! I need anyone who could express a different emotion today!" the teacher said. Then, the rest of the class had their turn to sing until...

"Okay..up next let's have...Jieunie" I was slightly surprised that the teacher wanted me to sing next but I know I need to sing either way. I took a deep breath and sing. I started to sing '11:11 by Taeyeon'.

I poured my heart into the song. All the emotions before just released through the song. Every moment and memory I had with him just kept on coming out. As I finished and I opened my eyes. I felt teardrop. I saw everyone was staring at me.

"Wow...Jieun-ah! That was beautiful. You express it beautifully...I know I said that I wanted you guys to express yourself differently besides love but a breakup song... coming from you, it's a first Jieun-ah..." the teacher said. I paused for a while before answering then...

"Well, can't help it...that's how I'm feeling now..." I said with tears.

Everyone looked confused but not my friends. After hearing that, they stood up and ran, hugging me. "Are you okay?" Soojung unnie asked. I just cried in her arms and shake my head 'no'.

Just then it was the end of our class. Other students went out and left only us.

"When did this happened?" Eun Na asked. I couldn't answer when...

"Just a few hours ago" Taeyong oppa answered.

"When did you found out?" Soojung unnie asked me.

"During the restaurant... why do you think she went out like that for," Taeyong oppa said.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Eun Na asked.

"I just couldn't... I don't know why...I'm sorry..." I answered.

"Did he tell you why?" Johnny oppa stood up and asked angrily.

"No...he just broke up with me through a text and when I tried calling him...he didn't pick up," I said, trying to be calm about it.

"He broke up With YOU THROUGH WHAT?!!!" Johnny yelled.

"Keep it down! This is why I didn't want to tell you guys especially YOU!" I said while pointing at Johnny. I saw Johnny storming out of the class angrily. I grab his arm just in time.

"Please...Don't do anything stupid, please oppa..." I said begging him because once he gets mad, there's no stopping him later.

"I'm sorry. It's just that he hurt you these badly and didn't even give a reason to it... it just makes me mad" Johnny said. I just looked down at the ground.

Johnny lifted my chin up and said, "Fine...but if I see you're hurting again, I'm not going to just sit still. Look, you're my best friend in the entire world and I just don't want to see you get hurt that's all" he said.

"If anything happens again, tell me okay, princess?" he said. I looked at him with a smile and nodded my head.

"okay" I hugged him.

I then saw my group of friends walking towards us. I just couldn't handle the questions for now so I ran to the restroom crying. I went into one of the stalls and sob my eyes out. I could hear Soojung unnie and Eun Na saying "It's going to be fine, Jieun-ah"

"Yeah...we are here for you whenever you're ready to talk, okay?"

"We love you"

I went out. "I'm sorry guys. It's just so hard right now" I said.

"We know..."

"Thank you...love you, guys"

Eun Na's POV

After comforting Jieun unnie, all of us went to get ice-cream. On our way to the shop, I shyly called unnie. "Jieun unnie?"

"Mm?"

"Saranghaeyo<3" and made a heart with my hands. Unnie smiled and the rest were cringing because of my sudden aegyo.

"I love you too, Eunnie, and thanks for trying," she said with a smile. I rolled my eyes at them and ran to Jieun unnie, hugging her arm.

"Jieun's ice-cream is on me," Johnny oppa said.

"Only Jieun?!" Jaehyun asked.

"Of course! Jieun is way more important than you are!" Johnny jokingly said.

"Fine then," Jaehyun oppa said while sulking.

"It's okay oppa, I can pay for my own" Jieun unnie said.

"No! It's own me and no questions asked, okay?" Johnny said.

"fine..." unnie just stayed quiet.

"OMG! I just realized, where is Winwin?" Taeyong oppa asked.

"He told me he couldn't make it to school today" I answered.

"BTW, why is this shop so far?" Jungkook sunbae asked.

"Stop whining you baby. We're almost there!" Seongwoo said.

"Did you tell him that we're going for ice-cream?" Soojung unnie asked.

"Yeah, who knows he could come and join us," Jaehyun oppa said.

"I've told him and asked"

"So? What did he say?" Johnny oppa said.

"He..hahaha" I giggled. "He what?" Soojung unnie asked.

"He ignored my messages," I told them. "What?!" all of them asked in sync.

"No! I mean he might be busy" I smiled. Literally, all of them made weird faces.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing!" Johnny oppa said.

"She's so naive" he whispered to Jaehyun oppa.

"I HEARD YOU OPPA!"

"Whoops," Jaehyun oppa said. I glared at them.

"AT TIMES! I MEANT" he said laughing nervously.

By the time we arrived at the shop, I quickly excused myself to the restroom and dialed Winwin's number. I anxiously waited for him to answer the phone.

"Hello," he said.

"Oppa! Is there anything wrong that I don't know?" I asked him.

"No, everything's fine. Are you guys still at the shop?"

"Yeah... we just arrived. Can you come?" I asked.

"Of course. I'll be there in a minute" Winwin said.

"Okay...I'll be waiting" I hang up. I exited the restroom.

"Winwin is coming!" I said smiling.

"So you went to the restroom just so you could call him?" Johnny oppa asked.

"Oh, Eun Na, You're so cute," Jaehyun oppa said.

"Ha! I might look dumb but I know whats going on"

"You're messing with the wrong person, bro" Jaehyun said.

"I'm messing with the smartest of all" Johnny oppa replied.

"Oppa, the only person that I'd fight with is you!" I said to Johnny oppa, annoyed.

"Aww, uri maknae wants to fight with me now," Johnny oppa said.

"Okay, that is enough! Johnny just sits and shut it or you'll be in big trouble and you know what I mean" Jieun unnie said to Johnny oppa.

"And you, Eun Na, you're not like that right. Just keep calm because Winwin will be coming and you don't want him to worry, okay" Jieun unnie said to me. She knows that when I'm mad I get very sulky and she doesn't like it.

"Okay..." I told her. "Good! Now can we please just order because I'm really in need of ice-cream" Jieun unnie said while laughing a bit.

After we're done ordering, the shop door opened. "Ya, Winwin. Take care of your girlfriend. Johnny kind of pissed her off but Jieun helped a bit" Jaehyun told Winwin.

"Oh really? Well thanks, Jieun-ah" Winwin said.

"Anytime!"

Winwin took a seat beside me and whimpered "Sorry"

"For what?"

"For not texting you back and made you called me first," he said.

"Aaa, it's fine hahaha," I said with half halfheartedly laugh.

"But are you okay?" he asked still whispering.

"Yeah, you? Why are you whispering?" I asked also whispering.

"I don't know either," he said and he both laughed. Everyone's eyes are on us.

"Sorry...hehehe" and so they continued talking to each other.

As I was observing everyone, the ones who caught my attention the most are Taeyong oppa and Soojung unnie. I can't tell you how cute they are together. They played rock, papers, scissors and the winner gets to hit the loser's forehead. I giggled watching them play. While Jieun unnie is somehow still gloomy but is talking to Johnny oppa and Jaehyun oppa. She's a nice person and doesn't deserve any of that. Oh right and for the F4's, well, they are minding their own business, talking and laughing. I can tell you our group is the biggest and loudest since middle school. I can't imagine my life without them.

"Eun Na" Winiwin shook me out of my thoughts.

"Look at this baby!" he showed me a picture.

"Aww, he's so cute. He looks like you!" I said.

"Really? He's my cousin"

"OMG! I wanna meet him"

"I'll bring you to meet him," he said.

"Maybe one day, I will bring you to meet my family," he said.

"I would love too!" I said to him with a smile.
