2 Chapter 1

Soojung POV

I got shocked by a horrible looking girl who is staring at me. Her hair disheveled, her eyes looked tired. It's actually me. I was shocked by my own reflection in the mirror. I couldn't sleep last night because being my weird-ass self, I like to over-think things such as "What if I couldn't wake up tomorrow in time?"

"What if I'm late? I'm going to be in big trouble" but lucky I got Taeyong.

Taeyong texted me this morning and told me that everything is going to be fine and that there's nothing to worry about. I put on light makeup and headed through the door while grabbing my bag but to my surprise, Taeyong was at the door already.

He stood there in his sweats smiling at me. He was dressed comfortably but still looked handsome as ever. I like it when he doesn't care that much about his appearance. He can really be unpredictable sometimes.

"Hi, Good morning," he said whilst greeting me with a smile.

"Hi...why are you here? It's still early" I said to him as I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

"I wanted to go to school together" he grabs my hand and started walking to the bus stop.

We arrived at the bus stop just in time. We took our seat at our usual place which is at the very back of the bus. I was looking through the bus windows when suddenly a little was shoved on my lap.

"What is this?" I stared at the bag.

"I know that you didn't eat your breakfast this morning because you were nervous and so I bought you a bento for you," he said.

"Did you cook this?"

"Yup, just for my Soojungie," he said as he ruffles my hair.

"You really didn't have to do these. I haven't done anything nice for you"

"Stop it, just eat okay..." he opened the lid of the bento box.

"Can I not eat vegetables?"

"NO! You must. It's good for you. Just eat Soojung, don't be a baby okay?" Taeyong said.

"What did you just say?"

"I said you are being a baby"

"I'm not"

"Is too!"

"Am not"

"At least, you're not cold towards me anymore," he said. I rolled my eyes at him. He laughs at me.

After quarreling about many things, we finally arrived at the university. It was a very big university. Taeyong and I went to the main building where all of our friends are waiting. Then we saw Jieun, EunNa, Jaehyun, and Johnny.

"Look who decided to come? The lovebirds" Johnny said after approaching us.

"Seriously, Johnny? It's not even half of a day and you already want to pick a fight with Soojung" Jaehyun said.

Johnny looked at Jaehyun in an annoyed face. I shake my head and hugs Jaehyun after glaring at Johnny. "Hey there, my kids!" I said to Jieun and EunNa while trapping them in a group hug.

"Hi, unnie!" they said. While we are catching up with each other, someone all of the sudden covers my eyes with their hands.

"Guess who?" the voice said. The voice was somewhat familiar to me.

"Can you please remove you han-" Taeyong said with an angry tone but was cut. I remove the hand and to my surprise, "Oppa!" I hug the person. The person hugged with all they got. I removed myself from the hugged.

"Taehyung oppa! I missed you!"

"I missed you too, pabo-ya," he said.

"Unnie, who is this?" Jieun asked. The boys also stared at us with a curious face and Taeyong with a mad face on.

"Yeah Soojung-ah, who is this?" Taeyong asked without looking but instead glared at Taehyung oppa.

"Guys, this is my favorite cousin ever, Kim Taehyung!"

"Oh! Your cousin. I thought he was your scandal!" Johnny said. Jieun then quickly shuts Johnny's mouth preventing him from speaking.

"Sorry about him. He can be an idiot sometimes. I'm Jieun, by the way, you're very good-looking" Jieun said.

"That's okay and thank you," Taehyung said while smiling at her. I quickly whisper into his ear and said "Don't even think about it! She is my best friend and she already has a boyfriend"

"Don't worry, I was just being friendly" he whispered back. 'Really' I thought to myself.

"I'm Taeyong. Soojung's boyfriend" Taeyong pull out his hand to shake Taehyung's.

"Taeyong?! So you're the infamous Taeyong that she always talks about. Well, don't hurt her that's all I'm saying" the stern face is now changed to his usually bright face.

"I won't" Taeyong answered. I smile.

"By the way, these are my other friends, Eun Na, Jaehyun, Johnny and you already know Jieun" I introduced Taehyung to my friends.

"and these are my friends, Jungkook and Seongwoo. But one more is running late. Where on earth is that weirdo" Taehyung introduced his friends?

"Hello, sunbaenim-deul!" all of us greeted them.

"Oh My God! It's late now. Let's get to class" Eun Na said.

Jieun's POV

It was almost time for class and we all went to class. All of us are majored in Music except for Eun Na and Soojung unnie. They are just minoring in Music but Soojung unnie attends the class more than Eun Na, of course. Today, I think we're having a dance class. We've reached the dance practice room right on time. Our teacher was just arriving with a transfer. I'm not going to lie, he was pretty cute...

"Okay class, today we're going to practice a routine but before that, we have a transfer with us today. Introduce yourself?" the teacher said.

"Annyeonghasaeyo, my name is Soobin. It's very nice to meet you all" the guy said.

"So Soobin, it's a tradition here that any newcomers need to present a freestyle in front of the class. Is that okay with you?"

"Yeah!"

"Okay, Drop the beat!"

'Woah!! He's really good. Like really, really good... I was very impressed!' I thought to myself.

"He's really good. Don't you guys think so?" Johnny oppa said.

"Yeah...he is" I replied.

"Looks like you've got yourself a rival there, Jieun-ah" Soojung unnie said while smirking.

"I guess so..." I said quietly.

*him finished his dancing*

"That was amazing. You're a very talented dancer. You can take a sit now. That is all, thank Soobin for that amazing performance" the teacher said.

He bowed at the teacher and he sat next to me. "Hi, there!" I said.

"Hi..." he said back.

"You were amazing just now, btw," I told him.

"Thanks," he said shyly.

"I'm Jieun, It's nice to meet you!" I said whilst smiling.

"It's nice to meet you too. You already know my name just now so" he said smiling back. After greeting him, I went back to class and followed the routine the teacher had us to do properly and precisely.

{1 hour and 30 minutes later}

"Okay, that's all that you need to learn and follow for today. So I was thinking that we should have a dance battle?!" the teacher said. Everyone got so excited and cheered. Some were getting excited and some got nervous.

"Good! That's the reaction I want! Let's start with our number #1 dancer, Lee Jieun. Let's go!" the teacher said. Everyone stood. I made my way to the center. I could hear all my friends yelling "FIGHTING!"

Soobin's POV

"Woah!" I said wide-eyed. Then someone said to me "I know right. She's amazing"

"Yeah...she's outstanding," I said.

"She's always like that. She seems like an average girl but she's more than that. People always underestimate her. She loves to sing and dance. If you like her dance, wait until you hear her sing"

'Really?!' I thought to myself.

"Oh where are my manners, I'm Soojung, by the way, Jieun's best friend," she said.

"It's nice to meet you!" I said back while smiling. Then she suddenly smirks.

"What's with the smirk?" I asked her.

"I get it now!"

"What?" I asked.

"I get why her eyes sparkle when she saw you dancing and when you guys talked a while ago," she said.

"Really?"

"You're very charming like what she said..." Soojung said.

"Thanks..." I said shyly.

'Does she really thinks that way about me? I wonder whether she has a boyfriend or not' I thought to myself as I saw her dancing.

"To answer your question...YES! She has a boyfriend, who actually is studying in Canada" suddenly Soojung said.

"How did you know that's what I was thinking?" I asked as I was surprised.

"I don't ... I just sense it when you kept on looking at her like every guy that sees her dance or sing. After that, they asked either one of her best friends, Eun Na or me, whether she has a boyfriend or not. So I know that look very well!" She said while slightly laughing.

"Thanks for the information," I said to her.

"Anytime!"

*Jieun finish dancing*

Jieun's POV

"Yeokshi, Lee Jieun. Keep up the great work until the competition" the teacher said.

"Okay! Will do, ssaem!" I said.

I went back to my group of friends then another person went up and dance.

"Hey...you did great" I turned and was Soobin.

"Thanks..." I said to him.

"I didn't expect you to be such an amazing dancer," he said.

"Was that a compliment or an insult?" I asked him.

"NO! I..I mean you seem like someone who would be good in her studies...I mean..." he said nervously while stuttering some words. I just giggled watching him nervously answer.

"It's okay... I know what you mean" I told him.

"You didn't really put in the memo when you introduce yourself that you're an amazing dancer," he said.

"Well, you didn't really ask. And besides, I don't really like telling people stuff like this" I said.

"Why so?"

"Well, that's because I don't like to brag about it. I like showing them instead of telling them" I told him.

"You shouldn't be keeping it to yourself. You really have great talent" he said.

"Thank you..." I told him.

*dance battle finished*

"It's already time. I hope you all practice your routine and get it perfect. I'll see you all tomorrow" the teacher said. We all bowed in respect.

"I'll see you around, Soobin-ssi," I told him while smiling.

As I walking out of the class, I received a call. I look at the caller and it was Mark, right on time. He always calls me at 2 pm when I finished my dance class. Mark and I have been in a long-distance relationship for over a year now and things were great between us, Mark moved back to Canada because his parents asked him to continue his studies there. I miss him a lot. I really wish he was with me now. I ended the call and went to my group friends so we could go on our break.

Eun Na's POV

Even though I expected taking a major in Law would be tough work but it's worse than what I expected. Still, no matter how tiring it is, if it's something you love to do you'll never want to stop. So, our professor made us memorize two pages of the deeds of law and write down what I think of it. I write about six pages of the essay. I have to rush to his office to hand in my work. So I basically speed walk to his office when I heard one of my favorite voices calling my name.

"Eun Na-yah" I know exactly who it was, Winwin.

"Oh, oppa! I'm currently in a rush. Talk to you later!" I felt bad and sorry of course. After exiting the main entrance of our university, I saw my friends and walked to them but...suddenly "Hey! Eun Na right?" I looked at who was. It was Soojung unnie's cousin and his friends. I bowed at them.

"Yes," I answered with a little smile.

"Weird. I didn't see you anywhere in Music block" Jungkook sunbae said.

"Oh, I major in Law and I only take Music whenever I have free time for vocal and piano," I told them.

"Ahhh...Future lawyer, huh?" Seongwoo sunbae teased.

"Yeah" I smiled shyly. I kept glancing at my friends checking if they are still there and then I received a call from Winwinnie!

"Oh, I'm sorry. My friends are waiting for me" I said.

"Yeah, I can tell. Anyways tell Soojung, I love her" Taehyung sunbae said. I laughed and said,

"Okay, will do" and bid goodbye to them, and quickly answered Winwin's call.

"Sorry, Winnie!"

"Oh, I see you," I said then I ended the call.

"Where have you been Eun Na-yah?" Winwin asked. I explained about our professor and the work he gave.

"Oh, no wonder you were rushing just now," Winiwn said in a pouty tone.

"Yeah, I'm sorry"

"Awh, pity our baby" here we go again, Soojung unnie babying me, but I played along and pouted my lips while nodding slowly.

"Okay! Since all of us survived the first few days of the new year, let's go party!" Johnny oppa suggested.

"Let's go!" all the boys cheered in agreement but we girls just kept quiet. So we ended up going to the nearby cafe. After ordering our drinks and desserts, we sat.

"So Eun Na, have you made any new friends?" Jaehyun oppa asked.

"Yeah I did but still they aren't as special as you guys," I said.

"Awww..." they sang harmonized together.

"Looks like you guys learn a few things during vocal class, huh?" I said and they laughed.

"Guys, Sorry but I have to go. I need to find a gift for my mom" I excused myself.

"I'll go with you," Winwin said as he stands walking right at me.

"Alright you two, just don't do anything weird!" Jieun unnie teased making everyone started making weird noises. Winwin just stood there and laughed.

"Unnie!! Uish"

As soon as we got out of the cafe, Winwin pulled me into a hug. I laughed.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just thought you needed one" he said.

"Thank you oppa" We broke the hug.

"BTW, I hope the friends you made aren't guys"

"Oh, oppa don't be silly!" I giggled.

"Kyeopta~"

"Who?" he asked.

"You, of course," I said.

"Oh..." he giggled and pulled me closer to him.

"I hope we'll stay together forever," I said honestly. He nodded. I just remembered that Taehyung sunbaenim asked me to tell Soojung unnie that he loves her. So I called her.

"Yes, Eun Na?" Taeyong oppa answered the call.

"Oppa? I forgot to tell unnie that Taehyung sunbae said 'I love you' to her"

"What is it?" I heard Soojung unnie asked through the phone.

"Urgh!" Taeyong oppa said softly.

"Your cousin said 'I love you' to you," Taeyong told Soojung unnie. He was obviously annoyed but since Taehyung sunbaenim is unnie's cousin, he can't say anything about it.

"Eun Na-yah"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you that!" Soojung unnie laughed.

"It's alright. Thanks and take care, sweetheart" Soojung unnie said.

"Okay, unnie. You too"

Winwin walked me home after I bought my mom's gift. "Sleep well, my Eun Na. See you tomorrow" he said.

"Mmm, will do oppa. Walk back home safely, okay?" I told him.

"Ok, love you" "

Love you too"

{The next day - morning}

I got up, showered, and dressed for class. My classes are the earliest but the last to end. I'm not sure whether the rest are at university yet. I almost reached my class, when Jungie unnie called.

"Eun Na-ya! Let's have breakfast together" she said.

"Sorry unnie. I can't. I have class and it starts in about 15 minutes" I told her.

"Ah... okay then. Our class won't start until later"

"See you guys later during lunch?"

"Yeah, sure. See ya"

"Bye unnie"

"Bye" then she ends the call. I went to my class and yet again I'm earliest, no one was in the class. Somehow gave me the chills. It's so spacious when you alone. So I texted Winwin.

Me| You're in school?\

Winie| No, I can't. Something came up at home\

Me| Okay, take care\

Winie| You too\

*end of the text*

Sometimes I can't help myself from thinking that Winwin and I are getting distant from each other but nothing has changed my feelings towards him in anyways. I then heard footsteps and the door opening. I ignored it because it was some students.

"Hey, you're early" I looked up from my phone. It's Jungkook sunbaenim. What was he doing here?

"Not really, it's starting in like 5 minutes," I said.

"To students here, 5 minutes to class is considered early" he giggled. I looked at him confused.

"Oh, I'm wandering around. I can't find where Taehyung and Seongwoo are" before I could anything students start to fill up the hall and some female students start to whispering to each other.

"I'd better be going. See you around, Eun Na" he said while smiling. He ran out and now everyone is staring at me. And now I miss my Jisungie.
