Chapter 1: I Think He Likes You!

Riele Jackson has always been one to not care about things. People even disliked her for it. To her, it's one of her favorite characteristics. She's never cared about people, love and all those things. The only people she cared about were her sick mother, Rylie Jackson, and her best friend, Edna Hales. As for others, she'd be lying if she said she gave a damn and it was because of this that people treated her less, but she didn't care. In this world, she was more or less non existent.

It was the last day of her exams and she had never been more optimistic about her senior year. She was a very smart girl. She came first in school and everything and this added to the hate she got from people but her dear Edna was always be proud of her and badmouthed all the people who tried to talk shit to her and that, Riele was really grateful for.

Will Anderson was known to be the hottest guy in school that period. She still used to be the hottest without even trying. Don't get me wrong, He wasn't even narcissistic. Not like he want grateful for his looks, but he wasn't a pervert like other average looking guys in school. Girls would gather around him like he was some sort of hope for the hopeless. He felt that because of this, he wouldn't be able to concentrate during his final exams.

Interestingly, he had a huge crush on Riele Jackson. He thought of her as the most beautiful girl in school, from her beautiful curly hair to her beautiful blue eyes, to her sharp pointed nose, to her rosy lips. He thought of her slim amd tall physique, damn, he liked everything about her. Although he found her highly introverted. She was like the only girl that didn't crowd him in school. He noticed that she was super smart and she didn't care about her looks, unlike the girls in Centerville High School, but it didn't change the fact that she was the most beautiful in his eyes. It had been that way since middle school. He'd always wanted to talk to her but he noticed that she didn't seem to want anybody talking to her. But he decided that be would talk to her and nothing would stop him.

Like every other day, Riele came in early and got settled in.

"Riri!!" Edna came in hurriedly. Riele looked at her one and only friend and smiled.

"Eddy", she said calmly. The both of them looked at each other for what seemed like a long time before Riele laughed. She knew what Edna was about to say and was about to say something, but Edna beat her to it.

"Calm down, I know what you're about to say. I know you want to scold me again for not preparing and I know you want to tell me about how you wouldn't pass answers to me, but, please, Ri, baby, I don't know a single thing about the subject so please help me out on this one. Just this one time, please", Edna begged, pouting her lips, making Riele smile.

Riele knew her best friend and this was the same thing she did on every exam day and the fact that she always added 'just this one time' every single time she begged for help always made her smile. "Okay fine, but just this once", Riele gave her the same answer she always gave, and they both laughed.

As though she remembered something, Edna asked, "you remember Will, right?" Riele stopped what she was doing and tilted her head to the side and was trying to remember the Will Edna was taking about. Seeing that Riele wouldn't remember, Edna sighed, "Will Anderson? The hottest boy in school? How can you not remember Will, Ri?

Riele finally remembered, "Oh, Will Anderson. You should have put it like that earlier. What about him?" Edna couldn't believe her friend, but then again, she actually could. She knew that that was the kind of person Riele was, but it felt like she was getting worse. "Must there be anything? I wanted to let you know that he's here already and damn, he's looking hot as hell!"

Riele looked like she had question marks in her brain. She said, "That's it?" Edna replied excitedly, "That's it!". Riele couldn't help but reply, "Well, good for him"

Edna was about to get mad when she heard so many footsteps. She immediately looked the doors direction and saw Will surrounded by a lot of girls. He looked tired already and it was just morning. He faked a smiled and told them, "We've reached, thank you guys".

Although, reluctant, they left him to his class. He turned his direction and entered the class and all eyes were on him, but he only had one view in front of him, Riele. Seeing this, Edna tapped Riele multiple times and said, "He's looking at you, he's looking at you!"

Riele reluctantly looked up from arranging her desk only to meet Will's meaningful stare. They locked eyes till Will found his way to his seat. Then like nothing happened, Riele continued arranging her desk.

Edna excitedly said, "He was looking at you, Ri", "I saw that". Riele replied back. Edna, who ignored the tiredness on Riele's face, said, "girl, I can tell a meaningful stare when I see one, I think he likes you!"
