1 War

In a world where magic exists, there is a demon who is feared by anyone. He is the Demon Lord Zero. His name known all around the world. Simply hearing his name can make demons, gods, elves, humans, fairies, dwarves and any other entities trembled.

Year ????, the demon land was invaded. In just a few minutes, thousands of demon died. The other party suffered only a minimal loss in that span of time. Very far away from the war, inside the castle, there is a man sitting on his throne. His face is cannot be seen because of the dark surroundings. He is the demon lord, Zero.

While he is sitting someone knocked on the door.

"Enter."

Zero said in a casual tone.

The door opened and a handsome man on his 20s with 2 horns on head entered. He is wearing a black suit.

"Master, a report."

The man while kneeling respectfully said.

Zero just wave his hand to signal him to speak.

"Master the southern part is currently under attack. Based on the report, the enemies estimated number is about a million. The average strength of each one of them is at least Tier-6. The attackers are humans, elves, dragons, angels, and different kinds of monsters."

The man spoke respectfully but there is anger that can be seen in his eyes.

Zero is not surprised by his report. He already know that there is a invader but he just can't specify on who are they because they are very far.

'Those fuckers...' Zero muttered while frowning.

"Diablo tell Mathias to retaliate."

Zero said in a cold tone. Diablo is the name of the man who entered in his room.

Mathias is one of his demon generals.

Zero has a 4 four demon generals. They are Mathias who's guiding at the south, Eleanor at the north, Rizur at the west, and Zelth at the east.

"Yes, Master!" Diablo left the room.

<At the south>

Mathias is waiting for orders to mobilize his demon troops. The average strength of his troops is Tier 6. After a few minutes someone arrived to tell him that to attack the intruders now. He did not hesitate anymore and he immobilize his hundreds of thousands of troops.

In just a matter of minutes, bloodshed can be seen anywhere. At this time, the other party receive at least 30 thousand of casualties.

At the back of the million troops, there is 2 man and 1 woman standing. They are Turiel an angel, Kassajin a human, and Amara an elf. Turiel is a spear user while Kassajin is a swordsman. Amara is an archer. They are the leaders of the invasion in demon land.

They are all Tier 9 warriors.

"I'm sure that Demon Lord is now panicking."

Turiel spoke while laughing wryly.

"Even though we don't know how much is his strength, the troops that we have is more than enough to annihilate all of them."

Kassajin spoke while holding his big sword.

Amara did not spoke while looking at the million troops with her cold eyes.

Mathias is watching the war and he can see that his troops was overwhelmed by a large number of enemies. He clicked his tongue after seeing the situation. He don't have any other choice but to immobilize his elite troops or else all of his troops will be annihilated. The elite troops is standing behind him. There number is about 5,000. Each of them is Tier-7 warrior.

The elite troops attacked the huge horde of enemies. You can see mana cores lying everywhere. Mana cores is the core of monsters where they store and nourish their mana. Even human possesses mana cores.

The larger the mana cores, the larger the energy it carries. Mana core can be used as a source of energy but the risk of using it is very high. Because most of monsters mana core contains impurities that needed to be remove by a very high leveled and skilled magician.

After an hour, the casualties of the both side is very large. The estimated number of demons left is about 25,000-30,000 including the elite troops while on the other side their numbers were reduced to half. There are also thousands of tier-7 in the other side so it's hard for tier-7 troops to completely annihilate them. When Mathias saw the situation is not getting good for them, he shouted

"Retreat for now!"

The troops immediately retreated after Mathias ordered.

Just when they are about to retreat, they saw a handsome man in his 20s with long black hair with a pair of horns. The moment they realized on who's that man, they all cower in fear and kneeled down in front of him. They all knew who is it! It's the Demon Lord, Zero! Mathias spoke while trembling

"M-master w-we a-are about to ask for reinforcements."

Zero looked at them with a serious eyes. No one dared to breath loudly in front of him. They retreated quite a distance so it will take a little more time before the enemy catch up to them.

Zero did not speak and slowly walked to the enemies position. Mathias and his soldiers are still kneeling. When Mathias is about to gaze at Zero, he already vanished. He muttered 'They are all dead now.'

Zero can now see the hundreds of thousands of monsters who invaded their lands.

Zero flicked his hands and consecutive meteors from above landed at the enemies.

[Meteor] is a 8th tier fire magic. After the smoke dissipates, only huge crater were left and not a single enemy survived.

Turiel and the others immediately retreated when they felt a strong magic spell being casted. The three looked at the situation and when they saw that their army is annihilated, they were shocked.

"W-what? Is the demon lord personally make his move?"

Turiel frowned after thinking that it's possible.

Kassajin thought of an idea

"If that's true, that demon lord's should be exhausted now after that consecutive high tiered magic spells and we can take this opportunity to kill him!"

Turiel's eyes lit up after hearing Kassajin's suggestion.

"Yeah, you're completely right. But we shall check first if it is really the demon lord who made the attack."

Amara just followed them without saying any word. They confirmed that it's the demon lord who made the move because they saw thousands of demons kneeling on him.

"This will be our first and last opportunity..."

Turiel clenched his jaws.
