Twenty two years ago, Samantha and Deanna lost their mother to a mysterious demonic supernatural force. In the years after, their father, John, taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and the back roads of America... and he taught them how to kill it. On the hunt for Lucifer, the girl's find themselves in a small town in South Dakota where they meet Don- an angel with a proposition.. Don sends them a very long way from home, on a mission to uncover the secret Satan never wanted to find out. Denna believes that Samantha is in Hell so she is trying to keep her promise to her sister and live a normal life with Joseph and Ben. When she realizes that a spell in the Necronomicon could raise Lucifer and therefore Samantha, she convinces her new family to travel with her on vacation to Salem. Meanwhile Samantha is not as far away as Deanna thinks and is determined to protect her sister from the Salem witches...
