Chapter 1

Princess Octavia was sitting in her bedroom dressing up for her birthday party. But she was sad and she was in deep thought. Suddenly someone entered inside her room.

My lady, are you ready!! Princess Octavia's handmaid had come inside her room. Princess Octavia tells her handmaid, yes I'm almost done! Oh! Nice her handmaid says let me see if there is something I could do..?

She started making her hair while her handmaid was making her hair when someone knocked at her door. She said in a curious way, who's there outside? Someone answered It's me, your cousin.

Princess Octavia was surprised, Oh come in! Triston. A handsome looking young man walked inside her room. He's her cousin and her future fiance. According to her parents Triston is her destined mate.

        Princess Octavia's handmaid left the room after Triston came. He was happy and wished her "happy birthday my beautiful princess". By saying this he held her right hand in his hand and placed a soft kiss.

                He wishes her a very happy birthday and may God bless you with my blessings too. All your wishes come true!! She said to him ,Oh! Thank you so much Duke Triston. He said to her in a teasing way, call me your grace Octavia.

She asked him  what will you do if I don't?? He said then I will kiss you! By saying this he walked close to her and he cupped her chin in his large hand. And slightly pulled her face to his lips.

She said, what are you doing your grace? He said by laughing,at least you called me your grace. She said in an annoyed way,Yah! I called you your grace now leave me!

              He asked her by teasing nature, why are you so nervous? She said in an irritating way. Yes I am,if you kissed me,it would be my first kiss. He also said…! Ohh!! Because It will be my kiss after all you are my future fiance.

She said in an annoyed way , whatever I don't care about it! After that she smacked Triston 's face and started combing her hair. He sat beside her and started staring at her with his eyes full of emotions.

She said shyly, what are you staring at me? He said without any hesitation, your beautiful ocean eyes, your golden hair and your rosy lips.

                   She started to blush by hearing his compliment. She said to him, you are making me embarrassed with your flirtatious words. He started smiling. By smiling he said,am I wrong??

                She said in shyness, have some shame! Your grace,we are not married yet. He said in a calm way okay,I will stop now! She said in an annoyed way, thanks for your mercy!

                  He said in a calm voice. It's getting late, so let's join the party. She smiled at him and adjusted her gown but suddenly they both heard the clashing of swords and stepping of metallic boots. She was nervous, what's all this commotion outside?

             Her handmaid came inside her room and started saying. M-,My lady, you should get out of here quickly!  She was confused by listening to these words from her handmaid. She said to her handmaid. Why are you so nervous??

               Hearing this all Triston asked from her handmaid,why are you so nervous? The handmaid said, your grace! The Warfrosele empire has attacked us. Princess Octavia said in shock, what?? Triston said in a serious condition I have to go.

So please take care of Octavia. He said to her handmaid. Her handmaid said,yes your grace! Princess Octavia looked at Triston with teary eyes as if she didn't want him to go. Because she know that this war is not going to end with talk.

There will be blood pools and dead corpses everywhere at the end of the day. He said to her in a serious way! My love,I promise you that I will return safely. By hearing this from him. She walked close to him and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly.

           He asked her why are you crying,My love!! And he also hugged you tightly. She said I don't know why tears are rolling down my eyes. He said to you, Octavia I promise you that I will return back to you safe and sound.

               After saying this,he walked out of her room without looking back at her. Because if he looked back his heart never allowed her to leave her alone. Her handmaid said to you, don't cry My lady!

She said to her handmaid. I'm not crying but I don't know why these years are in my eyes. Suddenly the door knocked and Octavia's mother came inside the room. She was in a hurry!

Princess Octavia was serious. She asked her mother what happened mom? Her mother said you have to go, my lovely daughter. Princess Octavia was confused about what her mother was saying!!

She said to her mother, first of all you calm down mom. Her mother said I don't have much time to calm down. Princess Octavia was serious about her mother and father. She asks her mother.

Mom is everything alright? Her mother started sobbing, she said in a low voice. Octavia my daughter, your father is not with us anymore.

            Princess Octavia was shocked,so she asked her mother. Mom, what happened to my father?? Her mother said to her in a rage cold voice. The king of the warfrosele empire has killed your father.

           She gets in rage after hearing this that the king of warfrosele has killed her father. She asked her mother. Mom, they have killed my father! Is Triston alright?

           But in this question Princess Octavia's mother remains silent for seconds. Her mother started sobbing again, they have not only killed your father, but Triston also. And her mother said that our whole family and empire is destroyed and brought into ruins by them.
