Nah! I am just fucking with you! But since I don't want to hit a writer block in the future, I'll go with initially what I've planned for the whole thing. ✌

"GRYFFINDOR!"

The hat announced the moment it touched Miles head, making McGonagall and all the other teachers sigh heavily. They all had overly complicated expressions as their faces read. 'God doesn't exist!'

'He's his mother's son, alright.' McGonagall watched as Miles went over to the cheering Gryffindors.

Though they couldn't have Harry Potter they still had Miles, so the Gryffindors were cheering the loudest for him. Miles awkwardly walked over and sat next to the twins who were mumbling something with one another.

Back in other houses, excepted for Blaise who was relieved and Daphne who already guessed so, all the other friends he made were slightly disappointed that Miles couldn't be in their house.

"I wish Rakepick was here!" Draco mumbled still not getting over the fact that Potter was in their house as he looked at him from time and time again.

Harry who was sitting next to him, clearly heard what he said as he couldn't help but agree. Though he wanted power, Harry didn't want to be alone in the least as he was sure Ron was going to be in Gryffindor as well. He looked around at everyone sitting next to him, and from their faces, it was clear some didn't really like him that much while the others were still wondering why he was there.

"HUFFLEPUFF!"

He heard the hat announce as he looked up in surprise to see it was Ron, who got sorted to Hufflepuff and not Gryffindor. Ron was a bit shaken, as he walked stiffly towards the Hufflepuff's table looking at his brothers. There were some noises around the students as they felt something was surely wrong with the hat, especially the Gryffindors. First a Potter, then a Weasley, both houses have always been in Gryffindor but for the first time, they aren't.

"Silence!" Dumbledore spoke causing the hall to quietened down at once. "Please continue, the ceremony."

McGonagall followed through and sorted the last person in his respective house. Blaise Zabini who naturally went to Slytherin. Professor McGonagall rolled up her scroll and took the Sorting Hat away.

Albus Dumbledore had gotten to his feet. He was beaming at the students, his arms opened wide as if nothing could have pleased him more than to see them all there.

"Welcome," he said. "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are, Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!

"Thank you!"

The banquet finally started as different foods appeared on the table. Just when he was eating, the twins came back after discussing things with Percy as they patted his shoulders.

"Hello, Mr. Saviour."

"Our only hope!"

"You must be Fred and George right?" Miles said looking at the two, "But which one of you are who?"

"Hey! he knows our name."

"Didn't think we'll be that famous to remember though and as for your question Mr. Saviour, I am Fred and this is."

"George! It's a pleasure to meet you, the leader of the light."

"What's with all these nicknames?"

"Well, since the original Saviour went over to Slytherin we need one for Gryffindor as well and who better than you!"

"You're just as famous-"

"Maybe not as much! But you're still famous none the less."

"And who better to be our Gryffindor's Mascot than you, Miles Rakepick."

"I see but don't expect me to be the Potter of this house." Miles said, "Sounds like there are too many responsibilities for that role."

"Of course, not."

"We never will, but we're glad that you're still a Gryffindor, with the way that crazy hat was going, I was certain you'll end up in Slytherin or Ravenclaw."

"Yeah! even the brother of ours ended up in Hufflepuff, which I don't believe he has any quality to be there."

"Yes, that lazy brother of ours. Enough about that, I'd like to say how we're really a big fan of your mother, of course."

"Even our mother is, but unluckily we couldn't get the chance to study with her."

"But Percy did, right Percy?"

"In the first year, yes." Percy who was silent said snapping out of his daze, "I am Gryffindor's prefect, sorry I couldn't welcome you before."

"It's okay."

Hermione on the Ravenclaw table chatted with the Prefect of her house as well, talking all about the school's curriculum, of course.

"I do hope they start right away, there's so much to learn, I'm particularly interested in Transfiguration, you know, turning something into something else, of course, it's supposed to be very difficult-";

"You'll be starting small, just matches into needles and that sort of thing -- "

While at the Hufflepuff table, Susan immediately found her gossip nest as she quickly made friends while Ron on the other hand, looked lost as he sat there alone not talking with anyone.

"No need to think much Potter." Pansy who was sitting in front of Harry said, "Though we are painted as the evil it wouldn't do you any better if you keep that mentality around here."

Harry was already having a hard time accepting the truth so he didn't really need someone forcing the whole acceptance speech on him.

"She's right, you know?" Daphne spoke for the first time ever since the ceremony feeling a bit of pity for the boy, "It's surprising as to why you're here but since you already are, try fit it than go against it."

Harry didn't say anything as he just played around with his food, his appetite already lost. As now all, he could wish was for the day to be finally over. He looked over towards the High Table again. Hagrid was drinking deeply from his goblet looking a bit drunk already. Professor McGonagall was talking to Professor Dumbledore. Professor Quirrell, in his absurd turban, was talking to a teacher with greasy black hair, a hooked nose, and sallow skin.

It happened very suddenly. The hook-nosed teacher looked past Quirrell's turban straight into Harry's eyes -- and a sharp, hot pain shot across the scar on Harry's forehead.

"Ouch!" Harry clapped a hand to his head.

"What is it?" Asked Pansy looking at the savior.

"N-nothing."

The pain had gone as quickly as it had come. Harder to shake off was the feeling Harry had gotten from the teacher's look -- a feeling that he didn't like Harry at all.

"Who's that teacher talking to Professor Quirrell?" he asked her as she was the only person who was rather talking with him.

"That's Professor Snape. He teaches Potions and is the Head of the Slytherin House, you'll be seeing a lot of him."

Harry watched Snape for a while, but Snape didn't look at him again.
