19 19. ISN'T THIS CHEATING ?

Opening the book, the first thing that greeted Noah was the air of ancientness, the book released. It smelled like something that was eras old.

His face turned serious this was a sign that what the book contained was important.

The first words he saw were unrecognizable, and now he wasn't sure what to do, before he could do anything the system helped him.

Immediately after it was done with the translation, Noah felt something click in his head, looking at the first page Noah understood what was written on it.

"Oh," Noah said raising an eyebrow at the name of the manual. Then he continued reading.

'Millennials ago, during the period when the barrier between the heavens and the multitude of worlds was thin. There existed a monkey that ascended from a small planet, reaching a state of godhood and immortality that little had achieved. This monkey was known for his mischief, due to him being incredibly powerful. His Martial arts made him uncatchable. He achieved great feats until the great one sealed him. His staff cudgel, and the manual he created, were the only things that remained of him.'

'A great battle happened between the gods, those who wanted his manual fought for centuries until one day it disappeared right under their eyes.'

"This is serious. I wonder who took the book,'' Noah muttered. "Wait... No way, I'm in serious trouble" Noah muttered realizing who the culprit was. And to confirm his suspicions, something was written under the short story.

"Written by THE GOD OF SPEED"

"What the heck?" , "This guy has gotten me into serious trouble" Noah shouted in his mind.

"I hope they don't find me," Noah said with helplessness written all over his face. Sighing Noah turned to the next page, it seemed that only the story part was written by the god of speed since he could remove the page.

On it were a series of drawings, that featured men performing weird movements while holding a stick.

Flipping through the book that contained over fifty pages, Noah sighed "This is going to belong"

Going back to the first page, Noah stood up,  he was going to begin his training, but "How the heck am I supposed to practice with this thing on the floor, I wish there was a table for me to put it on" Noah said while furrowing his brows.

Immediately he said that the book shone with inscriptions that weren't there before. Then it began to float, It floated In front of Noah, moving when he moved.

"I wish this existed back on earth," He said shaking his head at how lame Earth was.

Reading the description of the first move which was named "Rushing rod" depicted a man holding a staff and performing a series of hand movements with the staff, which at the ending made it seem as though the staff appeared in three places.

Noah decided to try it out. holding a cudgel with his right hand in the middle of the staff, Noah stood with both of his legs slightly apart.

Then he started, the move sounded simple, but it wasn't, Though thanks to Noah's dexterity, vitality, stamina, and that he had basic training, it took him around Forty minutes to execute the move in its a most basic form.

Noah knew he would have to practice to make it part of him and reach a good level of mastery, this was one thing the system couldn't do for him.

Or so he thought.

Immediately after he had executed the move a panel popped up.

When Noah wants to run, all he needs to do is have the intention, and the speed force would answer him.

Doing just that, Noah's body began to emit sparks, unlike when he was tier 1 the Sparks his body produced were dark orange and seemed more powerful due to their thickness. His eyes began to glow orange, and the already burnt ground began to get darker, some soil turned to Ash.

Noah stood in a stance for the rushing rod. And then he executed it, But unlike when he did it without the speed force, this time it was incredibly fast. If not for Noah's speed he did not see it move. And rather than appear in three places, his staff appeared in six !!.

Doing it again to make sure it wasn't a mistake, the same thing happened. Then Noah tried it four more times. Every time his staff appeared in six places instead of 2

Surprised by what had happened, Noah checked the panel for his Martial art progression And was Dumbstruck

"What the fu*k" Noah exclaimed, staring at the panel as though it was a dream, then something clicked in his mind.

He deactivated the effects of the speed force. Then he executed the 'rushing rod ' his rod only appeared in three places, it seemed that only when he turned on the speed force would it double, But this time it felt more natural and he did it more smoothly than when he did it before, he felt like he had practiced for a long period.

Raising an eyebrow, a panel popped up as though it senses his confusion.

[Due to you being connected to the speed force, you have access to speed learning, which helps you grasp and understand things much faster. When learning techniques or even how to cook you will never be slow at it]

Noah's eyes widened, of all the thoughts that were rushing through his mind, only one sentence came out of his mouth.

"Isn't this cheating?" Noah knew it sounded hypocritical, having the system itself made him a cheat. But wasn't this getting too much.

He didn't want to think of how long it took the Monkey king himself to master the techniques. But he was going to do this way faster than he did.

Sighing with helplessness mixed with excitement. Noah activated the speed force and continued practicing 'Rushing rod ' This time around he didn't close the panel, he wanted to watch the numbers increase LIVE.

With each percentage Noah felt something click In his mind, he didn't stop even when a notification popped up that his skills had completed their evolution. He only stopped when the percentage hit 100.

At this point, Noah was good enough to add elemental attacks to the execution. which led to many innocent trees being destroyed.

Stopping his practice Noah looked at the martial art panel,

There were exactly 25 styles in the manual and He had only learned 1, though he had speed learning it would still take him a while to complete the whole thing.

With that done he decided to check the skills that at been upgraded.

Though not much had changed in the names of some of his skills, the ones that did, sounded interesting. Like the 'Small energy Bomb ' He couldn't wait to see what it did, same with the 'Energy armor'

So he decided to check their description, to see if they were as interesting and useful as they sounded.
