Rex is on his way to bottom of the temple. The deeper he went, he could feel a strong energy which belongs to the sword.
The energy radiated by the sword can't be felt outside the temple because of a magical barrier surrounding it from outside.
Rex avoided all the traps thanks to his mental powers where he saw all the hidden traps like the wooden staircases to the bottom of the temple.
There he also got see the the pit of despair which is known bottomless where Ben, Gwen and Max were thrown by Enoch in the episode "The Ultimate weapon".
Rex could see a pedestal in front of him.
On the pedestal, there is a place in the shape similar to the mask. In front of the pedestal, there is a door with similar art to the mask.
He puts the mask on the pedestral. After that, the door starts to open where bright light comes out from it.
Rex walks into the door and continues to walk through long hall.
Finally he reached the bottom and could see the sword embedded in a high pedestal with stairs around.
When Rex entered the room, he felt two strong presences which he could assume that these two must be the guardians of the sword. These two are have a godly aura which is not threatening for Rex.
Rex: Hey guys, do you feel those two?
Albion:[Yes, but they are low level gods. They don't cause any problem for you.]
Lycaon:{It is easy to say that you can kill them.}
Rex nods and goes towards the sword. Then he heard two screaming voices from his back. The two large figures jump in front of him.
First one resembles as a skeleton or a bloated corpse, adorned with bells.
Second one resembles his mouth, which is encircled by a red-brown border, his large lower lip, and the presence of two curved lines to the right of his eye.
Rex used his [Psychometry] to know about the two entities. He later got to know who these two are.
These two are Ah puch and Ek Chuaj.
Ah Puch also known as Kisen, Yom Cimil, Kisin, Xibalba,Yum Cimil, and Hunhauis is one of the Mayan gods of death, disaster and the Underworld in Mayan mythology.
The Quiche Maya believed that he ruled over Metnal, the underworld and the Yucatec Maya believed that he was just one of the lords of Xibaba, that translates to "place of fear" in the underworld.
Mayan depictions of Ah Puch were either of a skeletal figure that had protruding ribs and a deaths-head skull or of a bloated figure that suggested an advancing state of decomposition. Because of his association with owls, he might be portrayed as a skeletal figure with an owl's head. Like his Aztec equivalent, Mictlantecuhtli, Ah Puch frequently wears bells.
Ek Chuaj, also known as Ek Chuah, Ekchuah, God M is a Postclassic Maya merchant deity as well as a patron of cacao. Ek Chuaj is part of a pantheon of Maya deities that have been depicted in hieroglyphs and artwork of various Maya sites and has been interpreted as a significant part of Maya religion.
It is interesting to meet two gods instead of one. As the artifacts that is the mask of Ah puch belongs to Ah puch and the sword of Ek Chuaj belongs to Ek Chuaj.
In prime Ben's case, he met single guardian. In Rex's case, he got see two guardians of the weapon.
But for now, Rex doesn't want to waste his time. He is here for the sword and he will get.
He puts his right hand towards the gods and snaps his fingers. But before the two gods could do anything, both of them got destroyed along with their bodies and soul.
Rex was disappointed to see these two just died with a snap of his fingers. These two didn't give him a strong challenge.
He straight goes towards the sword embedded in the pedestral.
Using [Structural Analysis] on the weapon, Rex got the entire history of the weapon and stored a copy in his reality marble [Unlimited Weapons works].
Rex grabs the sword and pulls it out from the pedestral. He waits for few seconds for something to happen but it didn't.
He already dismantled all the traps which includes the destruction of the temple if the sword is removed.
The sword didn't crumble to dust as it is still in good condition in this modern age and still have good amount of power.
He puts the sword in his [Gate of Primus] and goes way out of the temple.
