45 The Teacher (Chapter 45)

After leaving the canteen Daniel decided to start looking for the giantess. This is one of the most strangest [Pop-up Quest] Daniel has had to do. He has had a few in the past years, however all of them either were related to combat, killing, or saving a village or small town.
"Sigh…"
Daniel just sighed helplessly as he continued to walk around asking for where he could find the young giantess. Since he never asked for her name he had to describe her features instead, but the villager giants still did not understand who he was talking about.
'What the f**k?! How come no one knows who I am talking about?!'
Daniel started to become irritated.
'U.F how much time is left for the [Pop-up Quest]?'

'Well… at least I have plenty of time left…'
'It's so strange… how come no one knows who I am talking about? I was pretty sure that everyone would know about her considering the fact that she is a wizard. One that has a strong magical ability…'
"Arggh!! And I can't even find the giants that I helped train along with Tor!!!"
"Mister Conbolt?"
Suddenly, an unsure voice came from behind him.
"Eh?"
Daniel turned around and was greeted with one of the giants that he was just complaining about not being able to find.
'Holy sh*t! Are you fu***ng with me? Do I have some hidden high luck stat?'|1|
"Oh! It's you! Peter, right?"
"Y-yes. That's me. Mister Conbolt what are you still doing in the Village?"
"Ah, I am waiting on the Ifrits to return. I asked for a an audience with their Leader. Why? Hehe you want me to go away already?"
Daniel asked smiling.
"N-nono I didn't mean it like that! I was merely curious."
The young giant said waving his hands flusteredly.
"Hahaha I am joking with you. Hey Pete could I ask you something? Do you remember the girl that didn't get a chance to display her skills in the training we did?"
"Who? Amber?"
"Amber's her name? Wow so basic… Anyways, yeah. I am looking for her. Do you know where I can find her?"
"She is probably practicing her Magic at the Terra Dome."
"Oh! Haha thanks! I've been asking around all day long but nobody seems to know who I was talking about?"
Daniel said a bit puzzled.
"Oh, Yeah, she usually loves to stay with her teacher. So she isn't usually seen around the village."
"Her teacher? And even if that's the case shouldn't some people know about her considering the fact that her magic was mutated?"
"Ah. Captain Tor must've told you about the strange fruit. You see, the place where she found the fruit is well known as an extremely dangerous area. Strange creatures started to show up there 8 years ago and since then that place as been cordoned off by the Guardians."
"I see. So if people were to find out that Amber got her powers from a strange fruit others might want to try their luck and could eventually get hurt… "
Daniel said as he rubbed his chin.

'These… Anomalies. What exactly are they?'

A voice suddenly interrupted the System's dialogue.
"A-ah yes?"
Daniel said turning towards the confused Peter.
"U-um are you okay? You blanked out for a couple of minutes?"
The young giant said looking at Daniel weirdly.
"Oh did I? I am sorry I was merely thinking on what could've happened in that area. I am really curious."
Daniel said smiling.
'U.F give me the information later, please.'
[Very well.]
"Well then I must get going. Thank you for the help Peter."
Daniel said gratefully.
"Your welcome Mr.Conbolt! I will keep your teachings in mind."
The young giant said smiling.

"Ah sh!t… how the f*ck do I enter now…"
Currently right now Daniel was in front of the same gate in which he was previously with Tor and the young giants, however he had now he had no way of getting in. Daniel already confirmed that the giantess was inside because of the loud noises that kept ringing out from the inside.
'Hey U.F could you somehow 'hack' this gate?'
[Yes. That will cost 450 Quest Points.]
'You f**king greedy little sh*t!!! F**k you! I will knock instead!'
Daniel walked up to the gate and before he knocked the gate he enveloped his hand in weak dark flames.

After Daniel 'knocked' on the gate the noises inside the dome suddenly quieted down.

Similar as last time, the flames started to spread across the gate and various runes began to light up.
"Which little f*cker Is banging on the gate?!"
A loud voice said coming from inside the dome.
"I am! Which little b*tch is calling me a f*cker?!"
Daniel said angrily as he stared at the opening gate.
"I am!"
Suddenly, a beautiful giantess with wavy golden hair and mesmerizing red eyes wearing a seductive tight clothing came out of the gates with an angry frown. |2|
"Who are you?"
Daniel asked with shocked expression.
'D-don't tell me this is-'
"I'm Amber. And you… oh! Mr. Conbolt!"
Amber said shocked.
"I am terribly sorry! I did not know it was you!"
"Ehhh?! Who is it then girl?!"
A familiar voice said from behind the young giantess.
Daniel then looked behind Amber and saw the old giantess from the canteen.
"Miss Hertha?!"
Daniel stared at the old giantess that was dressed in the same suit as Amber.
"HURMPH"
Daniel almost vomited seeing the old giantess in the same tight seductive clothing.
"Oh? Boyo what are you doing here? Eh? Don't tell me you are still suffering from the hangover?"
The old giantess said as she stood next to Amber.
"Y-yeah a little bit…"
Daniel said sweating a bit.
"Hahaha! I knew it! The effects of my drinks are not that easy to cure! Hahaha!"
The old giantess said as she lifted her head and laughed.
"Hahaha… so tell me why are you here?"
She said as she looked at Daniel suspiciously.
"Ahh yes. You see I heard about what happened to your student, and I believe I might know where that fruit may have come from and what happened to your student. However to be sure I may need to examine your student a bit more closely."
"Oh? And what is it that you may need of my student?~
I'll have you know that even though I know you are really powerful, I still will not easily give away my student~"
The old giantess said smiling cheekily.
Amber blushed as she shyly stared at Daniel.
"*Cough* *Cough* I merely need a blood sample your student and check her pulse."
Daniel said smiling wryly.
"Oh, very well then let's go to my home first though. I was training my student all day long and us ladies need to bathe!"
Hertha said without embarrassment.
"Teacher!"
Amber yelled a bit flustered.
Daniel nodded, he realized that they did seem to have a bit of sweat on their foreheads.
"Very well then."
