39 The Sun Village (Chapter 39)

Currently Daniel was sitting with his legs crossed on a large bed. Although the bed was large, it seemed to be meant for humans and not Giant size. When Daniel asked Tor for a place to stay over at, the Giant mentioned that the Village actually had an Inn for humans, apparently many came to see the previously known, Eternal Flame. That was until a couple of months ago when the Giants started to get into small skirmishes with the Ifrits, the Giants had to evacuate the visitors and they placed a huge notice outside that said : "THE SUN VILLAGE IS CURRENTLY IN A BATTLE AGAINST FIRE DEMONS. WE WILL REMOVE THIS NOTICE WHEN THE SKIRMISH IS OVER".

When Daniel heard of this from Tor he started laughing out loud.

'This.... Why does this sound like the emergency alert system that they broadcast on TV on my Home World?!'

Daniel thought as he laughed out loud. Meanwhile Tor just looked at Daniel confused and just decided to laugh along.

Back to the present…

Daniel was currently sitting in bed playing on his phone and listening to some Imagine Dragons with his Beats, he didn't bother reading the enhancements the song gave him.

'Arrgh I am sooo boored! When the f**k are the Ifrits gonna come back?!'

Daniel has been waiting for the Ifrits to return, to see if their Leader would talk with him since his mission was not completed, as he still needed to confirm with the Leader of the Ifrits if he will be forming a friendly pact and become possible allies with the Magic Council. Since they never told him how they would contact him he decided to just wait for them in the village, however it has been three days since the Ifrits have left and Daniel was beginning to become impatient.

'Arrrrgh, there is nothing to do! I am currently the only human in the village since they've just recently removed the notice, so there are no human chics I can flirt with! You know what?! f**k it. Ima go and explore the Village.'

Daniel suddenly got down from bed and stood up, his headphones and phone warped away into his [Space Storage] and two Balenciaga shoes warped into existence on his hands. (AN : Duh. What kind of person leaves his shoes on when he is in bed.)

"Ight. Lets go explore, U.F!"

Daniel was now currently walking in the large roads nonchalantly. Everywhere he turned to see there were busy Giants doing everyday chores or chatting with their friends, Giant kids playing together and some adult Giants in group that were carrying hunting gear that was plus sized and huge weapons. Everything reminded Daniel on how normal human villages are like.

'Wonder what they hunt? After all these people are plus sized.'

'Hmm?'

Daniel then saw a few Giants carrying huge weapons, however they were not together with the hunting group they were instead heading somewhere with Tor leading them.

'Oh? Where are they going?'

Daniel then started following the group in a discreet manner by hiding behind the giant walls of the buildings that they were passing by. (AN : Pfff for some reason this scene sounds comical to me. MC be like ┬┴┬┴┤​°ω​°) )

As he followed the group for a whole hour and started to get bored until he saw a gigantic dome in the far distance.

'Wooooah!! What the f**k is that?!!'

Daniel stared in shock at the beautiful gigantic dome. The dome seemed to be made up of limestone, the entire structure had beautiful designs, and just like the previous building in which Daniel had his small spar with Azar, this one had flame like symbols inscribed along the exquisite designs.

'That was never in the canon?!'

As Daniel continued to stare in awe at the dome the group of Giants continue walking, and in the direction in which they were heading, was the dome.

'Godammm how the f**k was this even built?!'

Daniel then noticed how the group was still advancing.

'Sh** better not lose them.'

As Daniel continued to follow the Giants…

"Sir, we are being followed."

Suddenly one of the Giants behind Tor said walking up to him.

"Oh?"

Tor then turned around and glanced around, his eyes narrowing on a small shadow that was peeking from the corner of a building.

"Oh, Daniel!! Morning!"

Tor said waving his hand at Daniel.

'Eeeeeh?!! W-what? They noticed me?!'

Daniel walked out of the corner and waved at Tor with an awkward smile.

'Note to self : Get a stealth skill.' (AN : Stoopid MC. ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡)

"Morning Tor!"

As Daniel walked up to the group the Giants behind Tor started whispering between themselves. However since Giants are louder than humans, their 'whispers' were somewhat loud, in addition to Daniel's enhanced hearing it was as if they weren't whispering at all.

"So that is the benefactor of our Village?"

"Yeah, apparently he has incredible strength and powerful magic."

"But he looks so frail…"

"All humans look frail Adan."

"True, wonder how strong he really is? Captain Tor kept talking about how incredibly strong the human is."

Daniel was not the only one who could hear this, apparently Tor could too since he turned around and gave them a glare that shut them up.

Tor turned around and noticed Daniel staring at the group with an amused smile, he gave Daniel an apologetic smile since these Giants seemed to be questioning Daniel's strength.

"Tor, where are you taking this group to?"

Daniel said as he casually joined the group, the Giants making way for him.

"Ah. Hahaha these young'uns here are being trained to be next Guardians of the Atlas Flame. So I am taking them to the Terra Dome"

Tor said smirking.

"Eh…"

Daniel looked around at the Giants that were staring curiously at him.

'Oh my god, Tor said young'uns but these guys are all burly and hairy. (-_-;)・・・ '

'Hmmm?'

Daniel, saw at the corner of the group a female giant.

'Oh sh**! Is that Diane?!'

The female Giant which Daniel was staring at looked similar to the friendly Giantess that appears in the Seven Deadly Sins, however instead of the brown pigtails, she had long and wavy blonde hair and wine red eyes.

'Ah, It's not her. Weird though, what is she doing here? I understand that female giantess have incredible strength as well but the male giants have more muscle and body mass than the females so usually males tend to be picked for Guardian duty.'

Daniel decided to put it into the back of his mind and turned to look at the giant dome in the distance.

"So this Terra Dome, what exactly is this Dome?"

Daniel asked curiously staring at the giant dome.

"Hahaha, come with us and you'll see."

Tor said chuckling.

Once they arrived at the Dome, Daniel just stared at the giant gates with a huge fire emblem on it.

The group stopped. Tor walked up to the gates and touched them. Suddenly the fire emblem lit up in flames and then the flames started to travel through the exquisite lines that were engraved in the designs on the dome, and the gates started to open.

"Hahaha Daniel, I welcome you to the training grounds of our Village, The Terra Dome!!"

The Giant said as he stepped into the dome with the rest of the Giants followed him.

Daniel walked in with awe as he stared at the beautiful magic circles with mysterious runes that were glowing brilliantly in the inside, illuminating the inside of the dome, almost as if the sun was also shining in the inside as well.

(AN : Yeah the Dome is actually closed and made of limestones, not with glass like the ones we have.)

"Hahaha so what do you think, young warrior?"

Tor said laughingly.

Daniel just stared at the walls that beautiful lines going through them with Fire Elemental Etherion pulsing through them powering the magic circles that were shining brightly.

"Amazing…."

Daniel just whispered still awestruck.
