17 Chapter 17 (*SPOILER)

A year has passed and Daniel, Erza, and Mirajane have become very powerful Magicians. They have taken on many missions themselves. In fact, the other kids have begun taking their own training seriously and have very impressive Magic. Natsu and Gray are already itching to take on missions themselves.

This particular day, almost everyone was at the Guild. Daniel, Erza and Mirajane were at the Guild taking a break from all the missions they have going at solo.

"How many Missions have you completed, Erza?"

Daniel asked curiously, sitting lazily on chairs by the counter.

"37!"

Erza said with a bit of pride.

"Pfff 37 I have gone on 38!"

Said Mira with a mocking voice.

"Well, most of the ones I've completed are the hard ones! Meanwhile you have chosen most of the medium weak ones!"

Erza said fiercely.

Slowly Dark malevolent auras formed on both Erza and Mira as they stared at each other fiercely.

'Ah here they go again'

Daniel thought to himself meanwhile smiling helplessly.

"Okay girls lets calm down.." (EN: This part and up took 2 hours for our dear and pathetic author. Please, tip your fedoras in respect.) (A.N : No it didn't. Nuh uh.). . .

As soon as Daniel said that, both the girls turned their deadly stare at him.

Daniel then shivered with fear and he just backed away, chuckling nervously.

As he was walking backwards, he bumped into into Natsu.

"Oh, Natsu!"

"Daniel, who do you think is stronger me or Gray?"

Natsu said a bit fiercely.

Daniel then turned around and noticed that Natsu and Gray were standing next to each other and glaring at each other.

Another headache hit Daniel.

'Ugh, These two as well?'

Daniel rubbed his head in frustration.

"It's me, right Daniel!"

Gray asked Daniel while still glaring at Natsu.

Although Daniel backed away from Mira and Erza's fight that was because they were both girls that might join his 'Crystal Palace' in the future.(A.N : ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) ) (EN: … I… I'm out of loli jokes...)

Daniel just hit them in the head knocking them out.

"Why?"

They said before falling to the ground showing the whites of their eyes as they fell unconscious.

*Sigh*

'These idiots'

As Daniel was thinking that he smiled.

All of a Sudden

*Ding!* *Ding!* *Ding!*

The sound of a Bell rang throughout Magnolia.

Suddenly everyone started to rush into their houses. Then slowly Magnolia started to split into many different parts until they became separated completely making a long and wide road.

'It's him, isn't it?'

Daniel and the others stared at everything happening with awe.

(A.N : Again random members.)

"Gildarts came back!"

"Wooah Gildarts came back early didn't he."

"Yeah, didn't he take a Century Mission?"

"Of course, he completed it early! He is the strongest member of Fairy Tail after all!"

That last remark attracted the new members attention.

"Strongest in Fairy Tail…"

Erza said with awe and curiosity.

"Strongest member, huh."

Gray said, also staring in the direction in which the road split.

Cana stared in that direction silently with complicated look in her face.

Everyone else was staring in that direction with curiosity and shock.

Slowly, from a distance, a silhouette could be seen. It's a middle aged guy around 40 years old. Moreover, the guy is wearing what appears to be a high collared and ragged cloak, with that stubble beard of his, the guy seemed like a sloppy middle aged man. The only difference is that he looked much more muscular than most. This messy looking middle aged man walked in with a cloth rucksack slinged over one side of his shoulder. He entered and appeared before everyone.

"Hm? There seem to be some new faces."

Gildarts said as he stared at the kids. His eyes' then landed on Daniel.

"Oh?"

Gildart said amusedly.

There was a fire in Daniels eyes. Battle intent leaked from him.

'So this is him.. I can feel the pressure just from gazing at his eyes. I wonder far my strength is from him?

Daniel then walked up to Gildarts and said

"I hear you are the strongest in Fairy Tail."

"Hm? Strongest? Maybe… Why?"

Said Gildarts, staring at Daniel.

"I want to test my strength with you!"

Daniel said full of battle intent.

*GASP*

Everyone was shocked.

"Hahahaha… Are you sure about this, little guy?"

Gildart said, clearly amused.

"Yes!"

Daniel said determinedly.

"Alright then, let's do this outside."

Gildart said as he went back outside.

As he reach fair amount of distance between the Guild and himself, he asked

"Oh yeah, what is your name, kid?"

Gildart said as he stared at Daniel.

"Daniel Conbolt!"

Daniel said with a smile.

"Conbolt?! There is no way Macao could have a kid as old as you."

Said Gildarts with shock.

"Oh, I'm his adopted son."

Said Daniel.

"I see."

Gildart stared at Daniel with interest.

"Ok, lets start this show already!"

Said Daniel.

"Come at me kid!"

Said Gildart and gestured with his finger finger.

"(Dragon Slayer Art) Void Dragon: Void Dragon Roarrrrr!"

'I need control the amount of energy I use and use it more efficiently. That way, I wont lose my energy more quickly.'

Daniel controlled his output of energy so that he wouldn't lose more energy and that way his Skill [Super Energy Restoration] could keep up with his monstrous Energy usage.

*Stzzzzz*

The roar attack of Daniel reached Gildarts in an instant.

*BAAM!!!*

When the attack landed on Gildart dust picked up from the destroyed floor.

Everyone was stunned at the fight. They were staring at the spot where Gildart was.

*Woosh!*

The dust suddenly cleared up.

"Not bad kid!"

Gildarts said, surprised.

"Hm? Where did he go?"

Gildarts looked around but, he couldn't find where Daniel was.

"(Dragon Slayer Art) Void Dragon : Void Dragon Slash!"

Daniel then appeared behind Gildarts with his hand like a claw doing a swiping down motion.

A black crescent with glittery stars in it slash towards Gildarts.

*BAAM!!*

"Damn, kid, that was close!"

Once more, Gildarts comes out unscathed but, as he looked around once more, he couldn't find him again.

"Damn sneaky brat!" He mumbled.

He quickly turns around but doesn't find him either.

"(Dragon Slayer Art) Void Dragon : Void Dragon Talon!"

Daniel Appeared in the air above Gildarts.

*BAAM!!*

Gildarts blocked the attack with his arm still looking in the other direction.

"Mmmm Not Bad Kid!"

Gildarts said as he turned his head around to stare at Daniel.

"But not enough to make me go a little bit serious!"

Gildarts said with a smirk.

Daniel then quickly backed away. And stared at him intently.

'I can't continue to fight him like this guess I need to use 'that'.'

Daniel then closed his eyes put both his hands parallel to each other.

Suddenly the wind starting to pick up. Everyone stared at Daniel curiously including Gildarts.

(A.N : From now on I will be putting the thoughts of other Characters as so < : ' ' >)

"(Dragon Slayer Art) Void Dragon : Void Shredder!"

A Dark ball formed in Daniel's hand this time it had no glittery stars in it. The ball was completely dark.

Then Daniel started running towards Gildarts, this time he didn't plan on making any sneak attacks and instead he did a direct frontal attack.

When Gildarts saw that small ball in Daniel's hand he suddenly turned serious.

As Daniel was nearing, Gildarts then punched towards Danie, however if one were look closely they would see the trajectory was the 'ball' in Daniel's hand.

*BOOOOM!!!*

As Daniel's 'ball' and Gildarts punch connected there was a black sphere that covered Daniel and Gildart then it imploded into a blinding light that forced the Fairy Tail Guild members to close their eyes.

Slowly the light receded. As everyone opened their eyes they noticed the floor was utterly shredded and destroyed.

"Hsssss…"

Everyone sucked in a cold breath.
