16 Chapter 16 (And Now There Were 2!)

Once we got to the village, I reassured the Chief that the strange phenomenons will not be occurring again. He thanked me a lot and even bowed to me. I was too lazy to deal with him so I just let him be.

I then turn around and face the three siblings.

"Have you guys decided what you want to do next?"

Mira, Lisanna and Elfman all looked down.

"No idea, huh? How about this, join Fairy Tail!"

Daniel said smiling.

The three siblings then looked at Daniel shocked.

"Really?"

Elfman and Lisanna said excitedly.

"Yes!"

Daniel said with a smile.

"Can we join Fairy Tail, Mira-nee? Pleeeaassee?" (EN: Lisanna used Moe. It was super effective!)

Lisanna said to Mira with puppy eyes.

"Fine!"

Mira turned around and said with a grumpy face. However, nobody noticed it, but a small smile formed on her lips.

"Yay!"

Elfman and Lisanna cheered.

Lisanna, then, ran to Daniel's arm and linked with his.

"Lets go big brother Daniel!"

Lisanna said with a cute smile.

Once Daniel reached the guild, he introduced the three siblings to everyone. At first, they were a bit shy. However, they were warmly welcomed so, they slowly started melding with Fairy Tail's atmosphere. Daniel also went on and explained where he found these three and Mira's Magic.

"Kids, welcome to Fairy Tail!"

Makarov said with a warm smile.

"Thank you!"

This time it was all three siblings who said that, including Mirajane.

Daniel stared intently at Mira. (EN: RUN!)

"W-what are you staring at?"

Mirajane said a bit flustered.

"Nothing, it's just that this is the first time I've seen you really smile." (EN: RUN FASTER!!!)

Daniel said with a smile.

"Hmph!"

Mirajane just turned around but didn't retort.

After all, she and her siblings have gone through a lot and it had slowly made her a bit cold and the times in which she has smiled were far and few in between.

"Well then, I hope you guys enjoy it here!"

Daniel said with a warm smile.

1 Month Later..

"Everyone I'd like to Introduce you to the newest member of Fairy Tail!"

The Guild Master announced loudly standing on the counter.

"Natsu Dragneel!"

Makarov then moved his hand towards a little kid with pink hair and a scarf with dragon scales pattern on it.

Everyone then clapped.

'Strange, Natsu was suppose to show up before the 3 siblings showed up in Fairy Tail?'

Recently, because of all the missions Daniel has been accomplishing, he has racked up quite a lot of Quest Points and has bought various [Memory Capsules] so he has reinforced quite a lot his knowledge on Fairy Tail.

'System, could I have been the cause?'

[Yes. Although Host has tried very hard not to change the future of Fairy Tail, there has still been a few changes. Although, they are not very serious. Such as Natsu Dragneel arriving a bit later than the Strauss Siblings.] (EN: Ever heard of the butterfly effect?)

'I see. Thank you, System.'

[No Problem, Host!]

As everyone was greeting Natsu, Someone suddenly asked

"Natsu where did you come from?"

Suddenly, Natsu turned sad. However, it quickly changed to pride.

"I was raised by my father somewhere far away!"

"Oh, where is your father? What is his name?"

"His name is Igneel and he is a Dragon!"

Natsu said with pride.

"..."

"Hahahahahaha!!"

Everyone in the Guild started laughing.

Although it is true that Dragons used to exist in the past and that their strength was undeniable, that was many Eons ago. Nowadays, if someone were to tell you that they've seen a Dragon, they would most likely be treated as a crazy person and what they've said would be treated as a joke. Therefore, although what Natsu is saying could be true, most people wouldn't believe him.

"I believe him!"

Daniel said as he raised his hand. (EN: I see, author is now after little boys. Please call the police.)

Natsu, who was flustered with a anger, suddenly smiled and turned to the direction of the voice.

He saw a handsome young boy with black hair and dark but deep eyes.

"Really!?"

Natsu said excitedly.

"Yes."

Daniel said with a smile.

"Yay!"

Natsu cheered.

"Hey what is your name? My name is Natsu Dragneel!"

Natsu said all smiley.

"My name is Daniel Conbolt!"

Daniel said extending his hand.

Natsu stared at Daniel with smile

"Nice to meet you!

Natsu said as he also extended his arm.

"By the way Natsu, what type of Magic do you have?"

Daniel already knew the answer to his question, however, he didn't know how to explain it if he were to say that he what he already knew.

"I am a Dragon Slayer!"

Said Natsu with a fierce expression on his face. However, what he didn't know is that his expression only made him look like a mischievous brat.

*GASPS*

Everyone stared at Natsu with shock and surprise. After thinking for a bit, they, then, stared at Daniel.

Although he was sometimes naive and kind of a knuckle headed, he noticed, how when he mentioned that he was a Dragon Slayer, most people started staring at him and then at Daniel.

<(Natsu's POV) : I've always been with Igneel ever since I could remember. One morning, he wasn't there when I woke up. I looked everywhere for him. I could hunt some weaker Magical Beasts by myself, and could cook a bit with my Magic.

Everytime I used my Magic, it would remind me of my father Igneel. After thinking about him, I would grit my teeth to hold my tears and continued on my way trying to find Igneel. Sadly, everytime I asked someone about my father and about him being a Dragon, they wouldn't believe me and they would laugh at me.

Until, one day, I found a small old man. I asked him if he has seen my father. I was expecting the same reaction as everyone else, but instead he just stared at me deeply with warm eyes. He told me to come with him and join his Guild. I rejected him and told him that I had to look for my father. He said that if I could his Guild and at the same time look for my father. I decided to go with him.

Once we arrived at the Guild and I announced my name, I received a very warm welcome. There was a feeling here that I've only ever felt once with Igneel, a feeling of family. However once I told them about my father, they too laughed. I was angry and frustrated until a boy around my age told me he believed me. He gave me this familiar feeling, I don't know how to describe this feeling. I looked at his eyes, trying to see if he really believed in me and not just pitied me, and I could see he genuinely believed me! I decided at that moment to become friends with him! He seems like a really nice guy! I wonder why everyone looked at me then looked at Daniel after I said I was a Dragon Slayer?>

"Natsu… I'm also a Dragon Slayer!"

Daniel said smiling.

Natsu just froze in shock.

But quickly he said

"Do you also have a Dragon who taught you?!"

"Erm.. I don't know…"

Daniel said scratching his head.

"You don't know?"

Asked Natsu confused

"Yea, I've lost all my memories from before I was 10 years old."

Daniel said awkwardly.

"What? How is that possible?"

Natsu said puzzled.

"What is your Dragon Slayer Magic Element?"

Natsu said curiously.

"I am the Void Dragon Slayer!"

Daniel said with a hint of pride.

"Void Dragon Slayer… What is that??"

Natsu said the first sentence with a bit admiration then the second with confusion.

Daniel also felt a bit of pride but then the second half of Natsu's sentence almost made him fall with his face to the ground.

"Basically, I am able to manipulate the Elements of Space."

Said Daniel a bit helplessly

"Space?? As, in the space between my eyebrows?"

Natsu said still confused

Daniel now really felt like killing himself… 'This brat is making the Space Element sound pathetic.'

"Let me just show you."

As Daniel said that-

"(Dragon Slayer Art) Void Dragon : Void Dragon Flame"

This time Daniel said softly but enough for Natsu to hear.

A dark flame made of dark matter with glittery stars in it appeared in his hand.

"Wooah!!"

Natsu exclaimed with awe.

"I can also make one.. Although it's a bit weaker.."

Said Natsu scratching his cheek awkwardly.

"(Dragon Slayer Art) Fire Dragon : Fire Dragon Claw!"

Slowly a flame started to cover his hand. It looked like his hand was on fire.

"Heeeyy, that's not bad!"

Daniel said with a bit of admiration.

'Although its power is a bit weaker, it will grow and to become one his favorite Dragon Arts.'

As the small exchange between Natsu and Daniel was going on, everyone was discussing of how lucky the Guild is to have 2 Dragon Slayer Magicians in the Guild.
