Special Detail Intel

Alright so I want to give some insight on exactly what and who the Special Detail individuals are. Some were picked after initial take off by the first captain of each ship. These individuals would be the first to be awoken in a crisis, their power in the chain of command is equal to a second in command. Their job is to stop an uprising or contain a breach. The pair that would follow afterward the first failed their mission and died, would be considered rogues, they follow the missive only if it benefits what they consider survival of the ship. These individuals would be picked and placed in random ships right before launch. The duo that would follow them would be actual military Specialists, whether combat veterans or medics. Their job is to contain the ship and start the process of taking over the captains position. For if they need to be awoken the situation is out of the captains hands and they are no longer needed.

Now if the final individual is awoken, these individuals are tasked with taking over the entire ship and ensure the livelihood of those who remain in Cryo. Their power is above the captain. And these individuals would be put into cryo years before initial flight. Faolan was put into cryo 2 years before flight. These people all have questionable backgrounds. From Mass murderers to defectors of the military. Each one has a similar code, and that is to do whatever it takes to survive. And none of them have blood of children on their hands, except one, but he is a very special case.

I chose this system as a way to describe the escalation of how bad the situation had gotten. In story, it only took hours for the first three to die. Entering Stage 3 of the contingency policy. I do hope I explained it well enough for y'all.
