Lyra Grey is a small town eighteen year old girl, anxiously awaiting graduation. From the outside, or to the Normals, she seems almost common, despite her eyes, and habit of changing into a fairly large wolf. She lives in the town of Nocturne, a place none-too-many have heard of, and for good reason, considering it is filled with all sorts of non-humans. This is not a place you can find on many maps. On her birthday, the day after graduation, something ... impossible happens. She’s blessed by the Goddess, and flung into responsibilities she never thought she would have to bear. Uniting the races, dodging the demons who wish to stop her from her task, party-crashing an age-old plan to bring the devil back to earth, and an unlikely kindling with a boy she never saw coming. So much for college.
