"I know what I said!" Kyle said for the 5th time. They were all gathered in the living room after Kyle and Jackson said something that either sent chills down your bones, or just simply stupid.

"The man's eye were glowing, You said?" Sheena asked once again. Yes, they could be playing with them. Kyle and Jackson always played pranks on them, but they knew when to stop.

Kyle was practically shaking while Jackson just spaced out. Sheena and Kylie looked at each other in worry. Kyle was never afraid. He was the bravest among all of them. And seing him quivering in fear because of a man that reached about his shoulder, it frightened her.

"I knew what I saw. Ask him yourself" Kyle pointed a stiff finger at Jackson who was still staring at nothing.

"Jackson?" Kylie whispered quietly.

"He's right. It was glowing. Red" Jackson whispered quietly. Now Sheena stared at Kylie. The two mentally made an agreement to do an investigation for the sake of their friends.

"Its okay. Both of you should sleep. Jackson, you can take my room" Both mentally and emotionally drained boys walked towards the bedrooms while the two girls remained.

"What do you think?" Sheena asked Kylie.

"I don't know. You tell me? You teach Science!"

"Well, I absolutely don't have a clue what the heck Jackson and Kyle saw" Sheena mumbled. She knew they weren't joking. They were absolutely dead serious.

"Aliens?" Sheena whispered to herself.

"That's just stupid" Kylie snorted, immidiently shutting Sheena's idea down.

"We'll search for it tommorow. The library opens at 10am in Sundays. The two should be asleep until then" Sheena said as Kylie agreed and stood up.

The two entered Kylie's room, surprised to see an empty bed. Exchanging looks, they ventured towards Kyle's room, the scene making them both swoon.

The two boys were cuddling in their sleep, limbs and arms in tangles while soft breaths left the two, ensuring the two girls that they are in deep sleep.

A quiet click of a camera made Sheena cast her gaze on the girl beside her, who was trying to hold in her giggles.

"Kylie" Sheena scolded but didn't make the move to stop her either, Instead, clamping a hand in her own mouth to hold in her own giggles.

"What? It's for blackmail. C'mon, we can sleep in my room" Sheena just shook her head as she followed Kylie.

After they both exchanged good night's Sheena immidiently welcomed the lush pillows, snuggling closer next to her best friend, once again, oblivious to the red eyes that had been hiding behind the bushes just outside the window.

_

"Let's go"

The two entered Sheena's car, immidiently hitting the road in search for answers. Kylie sipped on her coffee as she tapped away on her phone.

"The library opens in 15 minutes, we still have time" Sheena explained as she saw the questioning gaze Kylie shot at her.

The two girls entered the bakery, the smell of pastries and cakes welcomed them. Walking towards the display of cakes, they both ordered and sat down near the glass wall where they had a clear view of the bustling city.

"We should start in the fantasy section" Kylie suddenly piped up as she looked at Sheena.

"Yeah" Sheena said absentmindedly.

"Hey" Kylie whispered and nudged Sheena's shoulder a bit. "What's wrong?"

Sheena sighed as she subconsciously bit her lip. "Its just, I've had this thought in my mind since Friday. I couldn't stop thinking about it"

Kylie nodded her head and smiled a bit, urging her to continue. Sheena straightened up and opened her mouth, finally releasing the burden in her chest that has been crushing her.

"Have you ever felt like, your life isn't actually yours? Like your being controlled?" Kylie blinked once, actually taken off guard by the genuine fear in her friends voice.

"You know what? Don't answer it. It's stup-"

"Yes" Sheena whipped her head towards Kylie who was now staring at her lap, deep in thought.

"My life did seem bland for some reason. Me and Kyle never got the chance to actually enjoy youth. We just kinda, focused on graduating like some kind of silent agreement. But I know, I know that Kyle felt trapped too"

Sheena and Kylie stopped their conversation when plates were placed infront of them.

Giving a quick thankyou, they both dug in. Kylie was about to continue the conversation when Sheena abruptly shushed her.

Confused, but still complied, Kylie waited for Sheena's explanation when they left the bakery.

"The boy behind the counter was watching us" Sheena finally said when they entered her car.

"Maybe he was just checking you ou-"

"No. I'm serious. He was staring at us" Kylie pursed her lips.

"Let's just hurry. The faster we get to the library, the faster we get answers" Sheena nodded and sped towards the biggest library in their town.

_

"Slow down, will you?"

After arriving the library, Kylie suddenly jumped of the car, walking towards the library without waiting for Sheena.

"Kylie!" She never stopped though. She kept walking until she stopped infront if a particular book. Kylie stared at the book for a few seconds. Sheena taught she was just too eager to get answers so she left her to it.

She walked through other numerous book cases, trying to look for something that might give them what they were asking for.

She saw a book that looked old, so she took it. Looking around, she found Kylie whipping her head from side to side. When her eyes found Sheena's, she ran towards her, making the librarian shush her.

Mumbling a small sorry, Kylie took Sheena's hand and pulled her in a table from the far corner of the room.

"Where were you?" Kylie asked Sheena, slightly annoyed.

"I searched for books?" Sheena's statement came more of a question, shaking the book in her hands to emphasize her point.

"Put it back. We don't need it" Sheena looked at her best friend weirdly. Kylie sighed as she secured her own book in her lap, as if scared that it would actually disappear from her grasp.

"Look. Trust me okay? Put the book back. We're borrowing this one," she pointed at the book on her lap," and we are going to read it at home"

Sheena quickly got to her feet and walked towards the bookshelf where she got her book. Her friend was acting weird, yes. But she trusted Kylie with everything. Even her life.

As she placed the book back on the shelf, a girl beside her caught her eye. The girl had sickly pale skin, and a grin on her small face.

Sheena wasn't a scaredy cat. Fun fact, she can binge watch any scary movie you throw at her in 3 am and she wouldn't be afraid. But this girl just strangely gave her the chills.

Everything was normal in everyone's eyes. If it wasn't for the fact that the girl was giggling whilst reading a book with the tittle, How to eliminate humans.

_

Everyone was gathered in Kyle and Kylie's living room once again. Everything was silent. The only sound that was making sure Sheena wasn't deaf was the occasional tik tok of the wall clock near them.

"Is this it?" Kyle gestured towards the book that was on the table. Kylie hummed and nodded a bit.

"How are you so sure about this, Lee?" Sheena also turned to look at Kylie, actually a bit curious herself.

"Jack. Okay look. Don't laugh, don't freak out. Just, listen to me, okay?" Kylie said as she eyed everyone in the room. Sheena's hair on her neck stood up as she shivered violently. Goosebumps littered her skin. Still, she nodded like everyone else.

"The book whispered to me" Everything was silent once again. Even Sheena had a hard time hearing the wall clock at the kitchen wall. Everything just seemed to freeze.

"Kylie, I love you. Really. But please, now is not the time to be telling jokes" Kyle looked at her sister, only to be shocked to see that Kylie was not grinning, knor smiling.

She was Just, void.

"I'm not joking. I taught Sheena was pranking me, but as we neared the library, the whispers got stronger, and stronger. It was unbearable" Kylie whispered.

"I taught I was going insane. Until I stopped infront of the book, that I saw it. I didn't know what it was, it just told me to take the damn book and read it" Kylie let out a breath, relaxing slightly as she got everything out of her chest.

"Did you hear the whispers too?" Jackson turned to Sheena.

"No" She said as she slightly shook her head. It was silent for a moment, once again. Until Kyle reached out, and opened the book.

"Why is it empty?" I voiced out. Everyone was absolutely shocked as me, including Kylie.

"No. I swear I wasn't joking. I heard it. It whispered. I swear-" Sheena pulled a crying Kylie towards her. She couldn't imagine what she was feeling right now. She was probably petrified.

"Stop crying. We'll figure this all out"

Kylie nodded slightly as she whimpered. Looking at the two boys, Sheena gestured them to close the book for a moment. Exhaustion took over as Sheena and Kylie fell asleep, holding each other for comfort.

_

"Is she okay?" Kyle asked with a cease in his brow. Sheena nodded as she closed Kylie's door.

Sheena woke up to the sound of thunder. She didn't want Kylie to be alone when she woke up so She and Jackson decided to stay for the night.

She called the principal that they would not be going to school tommorow for personal reasons and strangely, the principal agreed this time.

She also tried calling her parents, but no one answered. She assumed that they were probably just packed with office work once again, so it didn't bother her as much.

She descended down the stairs and plopped next to Jackson on the sofa, Kyle following suite next to her. The trio watched movies to pass time.

Everything was going well, until they heard an ear shattering scream on Kylie's room.

"KYLIE!" Kyle bolted up the stairs, followed by Sheena and Jackson. Opening the door hastily, Kyle jumped right next to her sister, cradling her head as she sobbed at Kyle's chest. Sheena opened the lights and gasped at the sight before her.

Kylie's palm was bleeding, a huge ugly cut took all of Kylie's shaking hand. Shattered glass littered the floor, a few droplets of blood in it. Kylie's other had held a large shard, that was probably the cause of her injury.

"Kylie what the hell!?" Kyle took the shard and threw it on the wall, shattering it once more. The sound snapped Sheena and Jackson and they moved.

Jackson ran towards the Joined bath room, emerging with a first aid kit at hand. Sheena tried to clean everything without getting pricked herself. Kyle's voice boomed inside the room with Kylie's sobs.

"What did you just do!? What's wrong? Kylie answer me!" Yet Kylie kept sobbing and shaking her head. To afraid to actually open her mouth.

"You could've got worse injuries! What the heck Lee! You could've actually died! What if you accidentally stabbed yourself huh?! Talk to me! What the hell is wrong with yo-"

"ITS THE BOOK! THE BOOK DID IT I SWEAR. THE BOOK! IT WASN'T ME PLEASE" Kylie finally screamed. Jackson fumbled as he patched Kylie's wound. Sheena hurriedly cleaned everything before listening to Kyle once again.

"What do you mean? Lee answer me? Please?" Kyle was hugging her sister tightly. Scared for her. She was the only thing he has left, he can't loose her.

When Kylie didn't answer, Sheena picked up  the book that had blood splashes. With shaking hands, she opens it, only to gasp and throw it away.

Red ink-blood, was writing itself on the book. Every letter bringing a new wave of nausea to Sheena as she read the book for everyone to hear.

"The beginning of an apocalypse, the end of human race.

You have successfully broken the order, now death is what you must face"
