"How will we know that we passed or failed the level?" Akeno asked since this thing looked a little tricky.

"All of the lights will flash twice if you pass and once if you fail, if you fail you'll be sent back to level 1 and then start over," Adam explained the three girls nodded, it was so easy to follow that even Asia understood everything.

"There shouldn't be any problem with this," Rias said as she recovered a little while Akeno and Asia were the same, But they were incorrect to think that it would be that easy.

In the next instant…

"W-Wait, What is happening?" Rias shuddered and Akeno was the same, Asia looked like she might pass out.

"This is bloodlust, you'll need to learn how to operate under such pressure because if you lose composure against an opponent who is after your life, you'll die instantly," Adam continued flatly as he saw that Rias was about to say something, "Right now not only yours but the lives of everyone in your peerage is on the line, think what would happen to them if you lose this rating battle."

"You damn Devil!!! I take back every nice thing I thought about you!!" Rias couldn't help but shout, just thinking of Adam's desserts made her drool so thinking how she won't be able to eat them even if they were in front of her was too much for her.

"Ara Ara, I think I'll get along with Adam-san even more than I thought," Akeno giggled even when it was tough to even move at this instance.

"You all stand up, how long do you plan on lying down?" Adam went straight to the physical attack trio who still didn't have enough strength to even stand up.

"G-Give us some time to rest," Issei couldn't help but speak with a trembling voice.

"I gave you enough time," Adam said while crossing his arms.

"That wasn't even 5 minutes, we have been training for 5 hours straight now," Kiba pulled himself up to his knees with the help of his sword.

"Do you think you'll get that much time in a fight?" Adam asked as he raised a brow.

"I guess you are correct sensei," Yuuto said as he stood up with the help of his sword, even Koneko stood up with shaky legs.

'Sensei? Yeah, I like the sound of that,' Adam smiled and made up his mind to give some special training to Yuuto later. And while he was thinking of that…

'Guh! I can't be left behind like this!! I can't stay this weak! Otherwise President…' Issei gritted his teeth and stood up.

"Good, now follow me," Adam turned around and after taking a few steps he vanished into thin air.

"What where did Sensei go?" Issei was stunned as he blinked.

"It is most likely a barrier," Yuuto said while walking.

"Are you not sure about it Kiba?" Issei asked and Yuuto shook his head, he didn't sense anything and just guessed it.

'Sensei might've prepared something for us,' Yuuto thought as he walked forward with Koneko and Issei.

But as soon as they reached the place where Adam vanished they felt like…

"Where is this place?" Issei asked in shock, the three found themselves in a middle of a big room that was about the size of a football field and it was completely white.

"What is this?" Kiba looked around and he couldn't see Adam anywhere.

Koneko was also looking around trying to locate Adam with his smell but she suddenly flinched and jumped.

"Look out for attacks," Koneko warned Kiba and Issei in a flat tone as she had just dodged a fireball spell that was about to hit her from behind.

And just then barrages of low-level magic spells were hurled at the three.

"What the hell is going on?" Issei shouted in panic as he was barely dodging the spells.

"Calm down Issei, this stage is most likely prepared for us to stay alert and work as a team," Kiba said while dodging the water and wind-type spells.

"But we didn't have any plan and we are tired to boot!!" Issei shouted like this was unfair.

"That is why we need to work together and alert each other if there is a spell heading for our blindspot, I'll look out for wind and lightning type spells while Issei you look out for Water types," Yuuto shouted and Issei nodded, there was no other way to deal with this right now.

"Leave the Fire types to me Yuuto-Senpai," Koneko said flatly and the three started to work together to dodge the spells.

"Good, now make it to level 5 or you won't get any food," It was then that they heard Adam's voice resound inside this place.

"What?" Issei couldn't believe what he was hearing and he nearly got hit by a wind spell but thankfully he was kicked out of the way by Koneko.

"Issei focus on the spells, don't get distracted," Kiba said as he covered for Issei while he stood up.

"Yeah, it would be a shame if you guys lost a teammate at level 1," And this was a real shock for the three.

'This was level 1? Then what would level 5 be like?' They couldn't understand that but there was one thing they could understand.

"You damn devil!! Don't you have a heart?!!" Issei's shout summed up their thoughts very nicely.

Adam made everyone train till evening and then it was time for dinner but…

"Argh, Why is this thing so damn difficult?!" Rias nearly threw the magic control training device on the ground.

"I would say this is wonderful, just when we reached level 9 and thought that we may reach the goal, suddenly two lights flashed making us confused, It trounced on our hopes like nothing, This is really something," Akeno licked her lips thinking how bad this would get when they reach higher levels. She knew that it would only get more torturous the more they advanced.

"Don't praise it Akeno, I really need to have a word with Adam, how are we supposed to pass the ninth level? It is impossible!!" Rias was pissed she was really close to completing the level but the ninth level became a luck-based game in which one was the correct answer but they had to guess 7 times, even if they got 4 seconds per guess it was still wasn't possible since the pattern switched every time.

"President I'd say that we got off pretty easily today," Akeno giggled while pointing at Koneko, Issei, and Yuuto.

They looked like they had been through hell, their clothes were torn and burnt. Along with the way they were sprawled on the floor, they didn't look like they had any energy left.

"I didn't think you guys would do that badly on the first day," Adam sighed as he exited the mansion and examined the six devils.

"Adam you tricked us, there is no way we can reach level 10 in this device," Rias spoke her doubts on the spot but Adam shook his head.

"You can, I am pretty sure Himejima there got a clue already," Rias turned around and looked at Akeno in surprise.

"Yes, all we need to do is find the correct option by matching its Magic Power frequency from the previous levels," Akeno smiled and Rias pouted.

"Why didn't you tell that to me before?" Rias wasn't happy with this.

"I am sure Adam-san there wanted us to realize this on our own if possible, that is why I kept quiet," Akeno smiled but she kept the real reason to herself.

'Seeing her throw a tantrum like that was also fun,' Akeno thought as Rias turned to look at Adam who nodded supporting Akeno's conclusion.

"Then what happened to them? Did they pass?" Rias asked pointing to the three who were lying down.

"They too failed," Adam's words caused Issei, Koneko, and Yuuto to groan; they wanted to complain but didn't have enough energy to do so.

"Well, that's it for today's training, follow me to the back of the mansion I have prepared a good open-air bath for you to heal your exhausted body,"
