1 Village in the Woods

This story is about a young boy...well not that young, he was about 10 years old. He was a village boy, going about his days. He lived among peaceful people and friendly neighbors. All of them knowing one another to the last detail and caring for each other when hard times arose. He had a nice home fit for his Mother, Father, and himself. It was warm in the winter and comfy in the summer. It was a strong build stanging up to the harsh weather and time. When he wasn't busy cleaning, getting water, listening to his mother teach, chopping and carrying wood, he would go and play with the other children. They had many games involving rocks, challenges, monsters, and heroes, going about their day without a care in the world. They often fought and got ruffed up and went home only to get scolded by their mothers while their father laughed at them for not being tougher. There wasn't much disagreement or arguing among separate families or within one, only occasional yelling that lasted mere seconds before someone stopped them and resolved the issue. This was a small village containing about fifteen cottages with no more than six people living in each. They had everything they needed except advanced weapons because they believed they were unnecessary, the biggest animal they needed to fight was a moose and seven spearmen did just fine. In the middle of this town was a fire pit where they would have an occasional bonfire to celebrate a wedding, birthday, or simply to have fun. But, this story isn't about the village, no, it's about a boy. He wasn't very intimidating with his baby face but, he has a strong figure for his age. He wasn't very tall but he has broad shoulders, well-built arms, and legs almost like a horse. He has a defined chest and a strong neck. He has brown hair and emerald eyes, he was told he had the most beautiful eyes in the village since he was born. His dad was the villages best hunters always bringing back the biggest buck he could find. He often showed his son how to throw and wield a spear for hunting and sometimes even let him tag along during his hunt. He has great admiration for his dad. However, he didn't much like his mother; she usually made him do chores or learn something new. He did like it when she read books to him about heroes and tragedies. He became very skilled as many things because of these experiences and is very lucky for that because nobody could have predicted what was going to happen in the near future.
