79 Section 78: A Fleeting Dream

"We're retreating!" I warned Ender who's still in a daze after being beaten up by Vladimir.

"I know that, Aria!" Ender growled back at me.

I shot the red flare gun upwards toward the sky to signal the others. We're leaving this base and let the drones rampage our enemies. I have to thank the person who hacked the enemy drones with a virus. I made my escape with Ender as the buzzing sound of drones made their way to the facility.

We used the backdoor, I hope everyone can see the flare and retreat safely. The sounds of screaming adults could be heard from a distance. However, when we're about to escape safely that man grabbed my leg and pulled me until I fell on the concrete street. Right in front of the facility, he pinned me down and pointed his gun at me.

"You tricked me! All of you shouldn't deserve my kindness!" his hand trembled in pure rage. 

"I'm not tricking anyone" I looked directly at his panicked eyes.
