109 Section 108: The Sign of Departure

I stand in front of Joel's bedroom with Mr. Eli, Joel's father. It seems like he wanted to confront me about something. I swallowed my saliva, preparing myself for a slap or negative lecture that he will throw about me and his son's relationship. However, before we could continue our conversation, Joel opened the door abruptly.

His drowsy eyes wandered to ours, he looked at me in a loving gaze. I turned my face away from his aquamarine eyes shyly. 

"Sorry, did I interrupt something?" he yawned. "I'm a bit sleepy".

"Nothing, why are you standing up from your bed? You need a rest" I glared at the nerdy glasses man.

The man scratched his head awkwardly when I pushed him inside the room. I lectured him about his current condition so that he knows how dire he needs to recover. If he's not recovering anytime sooner, we will have a lack of manpower. Joel nodded to my suggestion, he laid on the bed sleepily.
