107 Section 106: Adult Minds

Kallen was about to let go, but the drone moved weirdly as if it anticipated Kallen's plan to escape. The couple watched us from a distance, hiding behind rubbles with their tails between their legs. I shouldn't complain, but they're being useless now and should have run further instead of hiding. 

"Aria! I can't let go!" Kallen struggled as the drone flew in berserk mode. 

"Let go! I'll catch you!" I tried to stretch my hand so that the boy could land safely. 

The drone flew higher as the Gatling gun aimed itself toward me.

"Oh shi-".

"Aria! Run!" Kallen warned as he dangled on the drone body.

The sounds of blazing guns shot snapped me out from my trance. I ran as fast as I could to avoid the rain of bullets. Kallen tried his best to neutralize the Gatling gun going berserk. He stabbed his knife on the gun as hard as he could to damage the gun. 

"Stop it!" he yelled when he saw the bullets rained on me continuously.
