287 The Guests

Surprisingly, the Queen with her two knights were safe from the attack when they arrived at her place. However, when they told her that the King was dead, she freaked out and rushed out.

She rushed toward the throne hall. As the main castle had been secured, Heero did not prevent her. They just followed the Queen back to the throne hall.

As soon as she reached the throne hall, the Queen's gaze immediately landed on the throne seat. The throne was covered in the red curtain. From the shape of the curtain, she could tell there was a body below the curtain.

She ignored the scorched mark on the floor and rushed to the throne. The Queen pulled the curtain and froze on the spot.

Alexa tried to comfort the Queen, but the Queen was staring blankly at her husband's dead body. Tears streamed down through her eyes and her mouth was opened wide, but no voice came out.

Until a moment later, two words flowed out her throat, "My King…"
