Unforgettable Moments: A BTS Fanfic

Zee's POV

Finally! We've landed in Kuala Lumpur. The capital city of Malaysia. I must say the city sure looks beautiful. Well, from what I saw from the window on the plane. 

"I can't believe I got myself into this" I mumble while getting my bags.

"Stop moaning will you. This break will do you good." says Jazz in her stern voice. 

"Technically, I'm not on a break. Need I remind you that we are still here representing the company on this competition", I say while trying to push the luggage trolley.

"Still, it's something away from home that we all need." says Jazz

She was right; I needed a break from all the drama at home. Especially since Wayne and I had decided to end things. It had really caught me off guard, since I thought things were going well. Guess I was wrong. 

"Hey, stop thinking so much. Your making my head hurt," Jake said bringing me back to the real world. 

"Sorry; I was just thinking about work", I lied.

"Will you stop stressing about work and enjoy yourself," Jake said. "The company will be fine without us, so relax." 

"But"... I was cut off by some girls screaming close by. " What's going on over there?" I asked.

There seemed to be some excited fans and cameras flashing like there was no tomorrow.

"Hey, Zee" I heard Danny call my name, "Did you know that your favourite ' girl band' was coming to Malaysia" he asked with a smirk.

By 'girl band' he meant BTS.

"No, I didn't know and call them a 'girl band' one more time and you won't make it back home alive" I threatened.

I was a big fan of the group, though lately I've been out of touch with their activities due to work.

"I thought they were on a hiatus until the Maknae line returns from military service", I heard Jazz say.

Like me Jazz is also an Army but not as obsessed as I am.

"They are" I respond, "They don't return for another 2 months" I say confused at the fact that I didn't know BTS would be in the country as well.

"Oh, look! Our ride is here, "Jake exclaimed."Let's get this competition started" he said with a smile.

Our shuttle took us to Marang Jetty, where we would take a ferry to "Redang Island". Apparently that's where the competition is going to be held. When we got there we were greeted by a lady at the entrance before boarding the ferry.

"Welcome to Malaysia, I hope you had a safe flight", she said with a smile on her face.

"We did, thank you" I responded with a smile. " We are the group from South Africa representing Dynamics Ltd" I continued to say.

" Aaah, yes! Please take a key in the jar and read out what it says on the tag," she instructed.

I do as I'm told and let her know it says B7, whatever that means. She writes down what I said on an envelope and hands it over to me.

"Do not open this envelope until you're instructed to when you get to the island she says, "Please enjoy your stay and good luck with the competition" she said with a smile.

We board the ferry, which is huge and filled with people from other companies around the world.

"Zintle!", I heard a familiar voice call out my name.

"Lizzie!", I exclaimed stunned to see my long time friend.

"OMW, it's been a while since I last saw you" she says while hugging me. "Jasmine, it's been a while", turning her attention to Jazz who is not too happy to see her but fakes a smile.

She greets Danny as well as Jake and invited us to go sit with her and her crew.

Once we get there we meet three other ladies who are with her. Jayde, Lily and Jenna were their names if I recall correctly. Lizelle used to work for Dynamics Ltd before moving to the UK, where she got a job as a graphic designer for the biggest company in London.

The ride to the island didn't take too long and we hardly felt it since we were catching up with Lizzie and getting to know her crew as well.

Once we got to the island, we were then taken by another shuttle to the resort and instructed to go to the conference room. Once we got there we were allocated to our seats.

"Welcome everyone to the 3rd annual event, known as Legacy, hosted and sponsored by Legit Corp. This year we have invited around 7 groups from the biggest companies around the world" said a gorgeous man in a suit. "As you all know each group or crew will be teamed up with the world's biggest entertainment acts".

"Wait, what", I say surprised at this piece of information.

"Your team leader was given an envelope before boarding the ferry", the guy stated, "on each table is a microphone whereby you will announce your crew and which act you will be teamed with. Starting from the right side," he said.

One crew from the USA announced Little Mix, another announced Coldplay, and before I knew it, it was my turn. Mind you I was still in shock and I hadn't even opened our envelope yet.

"Uhm, BTS", I said shocked out of my mind.

While still in a daze, the MC continued to speak on how the competition works and how the point system was recorded. Before I knew it, we were told to go to our villa's to relax before meeting at the beach for a welcome party.

I was still in my own world trying to figure out what the hell just happened and how?
